F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Got "the behemoth"(BC PS3) from WD 3 years ago, still working fine.

Mr Bungle is right. It is actually very rare that Amazon puts out games during the day. It took me 3 weeks to find a 360 kinect bundle and I got it between 2 and 3 AM.

Just curious how you guys are finding deals. Every time I go to the Warehouse Deals page every listing is "No image available This item is currently not available."

Just out of curiosity, what condition do the "like new" games come in. I ordered a copy of Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3) for 20 from the warehouse and of course a day or two later amazon started selling new copies for 20.

usually totally mint and complete

Thanks for the reassurance guys. I figured as much, but I've never bought from the warehouse and I got nervous. Hearing that makes me feel much better.
Sometimes "like new" will actually arrive shrinkwrapped and new. Haven't had a problem with any like new games from amazon.
They re-shrink wrap the games.

99% of the time (in my experience), the games will come "re-shrinkwrapped," however I have actually received 2 games that had the original factory wrap but a Used-Like New Sticker on the back. I know this because they were PS1 games and had the white security strip, and Warehouse Deals usually doesn't shrinkwrap PS1 games. It was a little dusty, but after I removed the sticker and cleaned the wrap, it looked perfect. I was really happy! But that is a fluke - you should generally expect the games not to be brand new.

Also, I don't imagine most people will care, but they do resurface a lot of the older games, like Dreamcast, PS1, etc. The quality of resurfacing is really good, but I thought it worth a mention.

They reshrinkwrap their games... Might want to check the UPC and look for a "Like New" sticker.

Sometimes they refurb their games terribly. Just make sure you take a look at the disc.
Just got a copy of Medal of Honor (2010, Xbox 360) for $21.99 Like New. :D
If you want to play online, you have to spend 10 bucks for online pass.

Somehow Warehouse Deals has over 600 copies of that in stock at the moment for the 360.
they have 583 copies of halo reach.... wow
Newb question but how can you tell?
Newb question but how can you tell?
add 999 to cart, it will lower it to what is available :D

im very tempted to pick up a copy for a xmas gift for my nephew, but i KNOW he wont play it. all he wants to play is cod......so it would kind of be a waste

I wonder if amazon is just selling excess copies of games from their Black Friday sale. It is possible that these "used" games are in fact brand new.

Seems to be that way. Time Crisis Razing Storm popped up. I'm happy now. If the PS3 version Medal Of Honor pops up at 21.99 I'll buy that too. :)
They are discounting games like crazy today...
They actually raised MW2 for Xbox from $28 to $34.
Did anyone ever buy a TV from WD ? If so, how was it ?
I got a small one through them. It came still sealed, and the only issue was one corner of the box was scrunched up and there was a part of the picture missing from the box, like someone had torn a piece of tape off it and took a strip of picture with it.
What condition was the $32 version of Gran Turismo? Just picked up a very good copy for my dad for 38 bucks
"Good", not original case, torn cover, some other stuff. Debating whether to grab the other $38 one.
edit: too late, all GT5's gone.
