F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.
Pretty good chance that its been used. Hell, I think it was in this very same thread where some guy was talking about getting the Borderlands GOTY to get the DLC and then trading it in back to Amazon since the trade in value was still high at the time. My advice would be that if the game you're interested in has a voucher for DLC and you REALLY want it, save yourself the headache and wait for a new copy on the cheap. Much better than buying it used only to see the DLC has been redeemed and then going through the hassle of returning it.
Thanks for the info.

I figured that was the case, but just wanted to check with others. Now we play the "wait until it drops" game...

Nice find on Enslaved. Used my gift card from Xmas and got a game that I've been waiting to try for under $15. Now if I can hurry up and beat it this weekend, I can trade in at a decent price.

Okay, so I picked up NASCAR Heat 2002 PS2 for $2 and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story DS for $22 (minus $5 GC) the other day. Both arrived today.

NASCAR Heat 2002 is brand new. The "Like New" sticker in on the outside of the shrink wrap, there's even still the security tape across the top. Not bad for $2. All I wanted was a copy of the game that wasn't on the GBA.

Mario & Luigi doesn't have the Club Nintendo PIN. It's too bad, but not a dealbreaker. Really the only complaint about that one is that there were 3 stickers on the case, one on top of another.

Otherwise, I'm pretty happy. This is the first time I've gotten a brand new game from the Warehouse. I'm really surprised that it was one that's as old as 9 1/2 years.

My 26.99 copy of New Vegas came today. It was factory sealed with just a small rip on the SLIP!

:bomb: My 'like new' copy I got was opened and resealed(Y-fold no less) and they had slapped two used stickers over the UPC on the back of the case UNDER the shrinkwrap that said 'used-like new' on them. Mine also had dust on the disc and manual.

You ordered the 'very good' condition one, right? So I paid $2 more for a 'like new' copy that was opened n resealed n you got a sealed copy.:bomb::bomb::bomb:

Oh well. It's still a $55 used game most places, so it was still a great deal for $29 shipped.:D

so far all my games that i bought from warehouse deals had stickers under the seal and on the back of the case. very annoying and frustrating to remove the stickers and the residue left behind. but hey, at least they aren't as bad as Gamestop.

True. This was my first purchase from the warehouse deals portion of Amazon and I must say I still am impressed to have bought a fairly new game for half price.

About the only other site that I trust for receiving stuff that doesn't look like it was put through a belt sander(aka Gamestop quality) is GoHastings, though I've only ordered once from them.

Yeah, that's the one I ordered. When I saw the "do not sell before 10/19/10" sticker on top, I was like :bouncy: . I wonder who decides that a factory sealed game is in "very good" condition , as opposed to "like new"? xD
Argh just bought Enslaved for $20 and it's already shipped. Only return option makes me pay for shipping. Daaaang it!
you can always refuse the package from your courier, if amazon doesnt want to do a price adjustment.

Splatterhouse ps3 18.99

Damn. That went quick.

WTF!!!My copy of Way Of The Samurai 3 that I ordered from Amazon's main site is STILL in 'shipping soon' status.:bomb::bomb:

Then again I ordered it on Christmas Day according to them, so I guess it's gonna be delayed with the shittons of Christmas returns and packages they gotta send out. Hopefully they send it from Delaware like Fallout New Vegas so it'll arrive by Weds like the delivery estimate.

It must be someone who worked for Gamestop cuz that's a skewed rating system otherwise. You plan on playing it or gifting it? Just asking, since I know my 'like new' one came with the one DLC voucher unused and was wondering if your 'very good' one came with anything extra or I truly got the better deal.;)

My $14.99 Like New copy of Final Fantasy VII shipped today. Anyone that's ordered this from the Warehouse know what copy they usually have? Normal or Greatest Hits?

I was gonna wait to open it, but now you made me curious:lol:

It has a Tribal Pack DLC voucher inside. Is that the same?

99% likely it will be GH version, but nice find nonetheless.

Yeah. That's the same voucher I got in mine. I went into account management on my PS3 and entered the code to find out it was unused, then I backed out of the next screen that came up, so hopefully that didn't use the code.

How do you know it is indeed brand new factory sealed? All of my warehouse deal like new games come sealed and I can tell they were opened and resealed, although they are in like new condition.

I would think if it was opened that this sticker would not be intact.

The description did say "very good" and "manufacturer shrink-wrapped, with cut on outer box" . I wasn't sure if it was true since it was cheaper than the "like new" copies.

God damn to whoever posted the enslaved deal on the regular deal forums. That shit probably spread to slickdeals in no time....

:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::bomb::bomb::bomb:

In other news, looks like the PS3 version of Enslaved is now $13.99 as well.

I bit.

Damn you CAG ... just when i was catching up on my backlog.
68 copies left of Enslaved for PS3
30 copies were sold since three hours ago.
Yeah. I blame it on this being posted on the main deals forum.:bomb:
It'd be cool to see who buys what statistically between people who peruse the various sites. The only hint I get in terms of observing how fast things can sell is if it's a big frontpage price-error deal at Slickdeals that encompasses both online and B&M stores of a major chain during a major sales event like Black Friday. Sometimes shit sells out quickly, or the deal is so good that it gets people batshit crazy when they don't get in on those deals.

But yeah, it's like, how much do CAGs contribute to deals? That's the million dollar question...
