F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Is 107 the cheapest for a Mario DSi or the cheapest for a DSi? I missed these at 134 but not sure if people held off cause they had been better price in past (specifically red DSi bundle).

edit: Im guessing from a post a few above it was the cheapest. so good thing i missed out!
I kinda wish they were all matte black on the inside. I am just concerned the red is going to be too red.
I think thats the idea :)
Before I saw the XL available post.. the Black DSi registered. Don't forget to register it and get an warranty extension. And the coins to order cool free Nintendo swag.
I registered mine, but it said it doesn't qualify for the extended warranty. Also I can't seem to find the slip with the PIN on it so I can't get any coins :( what does the slip look like?

cheapest dsi xl, in acceptable condition, and it WAS acceptable.
2 left. Like new for 134 is outrageous. Wishing for under $110 in decent condition is rare I bet.

They all gone now.
Explain how its outrageous to get a limited edition dsi xl that normally goes for 180-200 brand new, for $50 less than retail? that a.so comes with a game that if you don't want you can trade in or sell for about $20 or so.
I got my ps3 move bundle in today, it was listed as very good for 240, every thing works just fine except for some cosmetic damage; game box was crushed, the mic on the camera has a dent, and the console has some some minor scratches probably due to transportation.

Is it worth making a fuzz over it?
You could. I received the same exact thing you did, same price, and my outside 320 move box was a little dinged up, but the inside gray box was perfect.

It said light cosmetic damage in the description, but everything included, move controllers, dual shock, camera, console were all perfect.
i ordered the mario dsi xl again i got ripped off when i ordered mine the other day for 160 now ill just keep whatever one is in better condition and return the one for 160 and keep the 133 :)
joke post?

You realize amzn probably scans the console s/n of each sale like every other retailer on the planet, right?

Outrageous is a good way.

For those that are buying GB and/or GBA games and receive the boxes and /or manuals, what condition are you buying them in? I would like to buy some games only if they are complete, but it seems that almost all of them are in acceptable condition with the chance that it won't come complete. Probably depends on the game, but if some are getting complete games in the acceptable condition, I might try buy a few and see what happens...

So the Mario DSi XL for $128.99 acceptable came in today. Amazon shipped it overnight. It came in a generic white box with just the DSi XL, charger and Mario Kart DS. Some very light scratch on the outside, little dust on the touch screen and you can see the d-pad have some wear (person must be "snaking" lol). But wait! There's no stylus. Not even the pen stylus. Hit Amazon an email asking for a replacement stylus as I do not want to return it. CSR said can't sent replacement and to return it. Reply back saying again I don't want to return it and perhaps offer a small refund/credit so I can use that money to buy a stylus. Expecting to only get $5/10 credit they instead offer $40 refund! Wow, I came across a nice CSR or they think a stylus cost $40. :D

Also since I already own Mario Kart DS I'm trading the extra copy in.

$128.99 - 40 - 14.75 = $74.24 net price. :)

Damn. That's nearly a 20% discount. When the PS3 controller I bought was pretty worn, they offered a refund of 15%, or approximately $4.

um, $40 is actually a little over a 30% discount. when i received my wacom intuos 4 art pen it was missing the nib remover and amz gave me $30 refund, which is 30% of what it cost. I called Wacom the next day and they sent me the nib remover for free lol.

They are not going to come complete if you order acceptable. So far the 5 or so acceptable games I've ordered have all been cartridge only. They might have a small percentage of games with just box or just manual that are acceptable and you might get lucky. But I'm sure none are complete.

Most complete games are listed as Like New, but occasionally there are Good condition games and these are also complete.

You really should check eBay real quick before or right after ordering. Most of the time I find you can get great condition games on eBay for the same or a little less than on AWD. Sometimes AWD has some good prices though. The problem is you don't really know what condition the games are in and if they will be packed well. But I guess you can return pretty easily if you aren't happy with what you get.

Bad news - the "Like New" Black Friday PS3 bundle I bought doesn't play Blurays. I tried four different movies, and all four skipped every five or six seconds and had no audio. Kind of weird (audio settings are correct since they work just fine in the menus).

Bummer. :(

shoot, i havent played a blu ray on my ps3 yet either

At first I thought it was just a dirty disc, but I tried a couple more and all had spotty playback. Skipping or missing frames and no audio at all (but Netflix audio works as does the menus). Really weird stuff. Kinda bummed out since I thought I had a great deal on a system and a couple of bonus games and now I'm back to square one. Oh well.

The menu likely isnt the same audio as the movie. I would mess with the settings more
Have you tried a different hdmi cable?

If netflix works then it definitely looks like a bd audio setting

If anyone is interested, I took a couple glamor shots of the Club Nintendo pouch that was recommended by another member earlier in this thread. It really is an absolutely perfect case for all of us buying the Mario XL units.

EDIT: And also, I'm too lazy to adjust the white balance on my camera. But for the record, the pouch (IRL) is a bit darker than the DS, and has a *tad* more burgundy to it. That said, it still looks very nice. It just doesn't match *quite* as well as this pic might lead you to believe.
porntastic. did you redeem with points or ebay? i still dont know what to spend my points on.
I redeemed it with points. I had 750, and will have another ~300 or so coming with the 3DS and games next week, so may as well redeem for it. I figured I don't need to spend any more real $$$, so this was a good way to get a case for "free."
I got my Modnation Racers "like new" for the PS3 yesterday.

Wow..surprised......only 18 bucks and its brand new...
Was it the red case or the old case?

I keep seeing those come up but I am so anal I just can't do red cases

The Uncharted 2 bundle?

Well guys it's the weekend. Deadtime for AWD, but the 3DS is tomorrow :) wonder if any will be able to snag a like new for 147.99

were the insert/manual good condition too? the last 5 "like new" games i bought were pretty damaged/dirty (except the disc). i was disappointed because last year when i bought "like new" games they really were almost brand new. i don't know if it's just bad luck this time, or maybe i'm too picky
I will definitely being watching for a 3DS lol.
Heh, hey man you never know. If one gets damaged in the shipment it could very easily show up rather quickly. They might as well make 230 off one with a scratch than nothing.

The games come resealed to look brand new you realize. It may not be brand new. There should be a sticker on the back over hte barcode on the case. Though its happened that they (Noram) sent out games without the sticker and looking factory resealed in the past. So I dunno if you can be definitively sure its brand new or not.

Might as well hold off on registering that stuff until June or July, whenever the new yearly cycle starts. That way you can easily reach platinum status and get whatever unique prize they offer next year.

Wow, nice work! My XL like-new for $133 had the box and was only lacking the pen stylus. I was just going to suck it up and buy a new one but your post convinced me to check with CS first. Not quite as sweet a deal as yours but they did tell me to go ahead and buy one and they'd refund me the money. I'm satisfied :D

thanks!

How is everyone's experience buying AWD Nintendo DS games? I am leery because at least with console games you can look at the disc and see if it is brand new.

I am looking at Mario and Luigi: Partners in time Like-New for 24.99. Does this look like a decent deal? I'm not exactly sure how to link specific items.

I buy a lot of DS games on AWD. No complaints as long as it states that it includes everything. They reseal their games as well as put a sticker on the back saying the condition.
The menu likely isnt the same audio as the movie. I would mess with the settings more

Yeah, I'll have to mess with it a little more. I've got a couple of weeks before I have to return it. Hoping it's just my hasty setup last night and not a faulty system. Worst case scenario, it hasn't been registered with Sony yet and should be under warranty - I assume they cover that, but I'm not sure.

I'll definitely try a different cable as well - I've got a couple laying around. Thanks much for the tips and suggestions.

But they don't test the games to see if they work do they? I hate returning stuff.

Nice, the DSi Xl Bronze I ordered came the same way(except for all the scratches and scuffs on the screen and lid) and all I was offered was a full refund with no return shipping . I guess I will try an e-mail rep next time.

In a related story, I fucked and one clicked one of those Mario DSi XLs that were at $150.99 on Thursday and didn't realize it until I woke the next day and received the shipping e-mail. It arrived today due to overnight and it's complete, with everything being lightly used. The only two things that bother be about this purchase is that the lid of the DSi XL has light scratches all over(Do these things scratch that easily?) and that I payed $150.00 for "very good" when like new is going for much cheaper.
I'll sleep on it to see if I should return it and try my luck.

^^ Return it they usually have about 5-10 DSI XL Mario Bundles in like new at $134 a week and there have been people who have gotten them at $107
I'd try a CS rep and see how much they offer you.

sheesh, has any been having trouble opening the dsi xl boxes? i had to resort damaging mine a little bit :whistle2:(

how often do they go at 107?

now i gotta sell my ds lite :whistle2:/. hmm craigslist or amazon..

I expect a lot of 3Dses on AWD when parents have second thoughts about what it'll do to their child's vision. That's when we swoop in!
I bought a "Very Good" 320 Move Bundle for 244.99 which was in perfect condition.
Figures...this morning I managed to get a PS3 Killzone 3 Bundle "Used - Like New" for $225 -- the last one -- after not having looked at Amazon Warehouse in a long while...and then I come to this thread to see what other PS3 deals have popped up recently and see this comment. ;-P
so strange that they keep going back and forth between 161 and 134, i ordered one of each hopefully ill get to return the 161 version if the condition is similar on both
Perhaps one employee is saying "DSi XL? $134. Next." while another is saying "DSi XL? $134...wait, this is a special edition bundle with a game, $161.00. Next"?

I made the error in turning mine on and am now hesitant of returning it even after overpaying $19 bucks. It just looks so sexy powered on. If I see a like new at $134, and can grab it, I'll return this one.
