F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.
I realize this is off topic but I had a quick question. Has anyone bought anything new from Amazon and ended up getting it used? I ask this because I bought a pair of sunglasses new and when I got em, the lenses were covered with fingerprints and they were obviously somewhat used.
I bought :br: X-Men Trilogy shipped and sold by Amazon and received a used copy. The box had a price sticker on it that was half ripped off underneath the shrink wrap, two of the blu-ray cases were cracked, and one voucher for the digital copy was missing.

Amazon sent me a replacement overnight so it wasn't that big a deal, but yes, I've ordered new and received used before.
Lame. All they offered to give me was $20 credit towards my next purchase. Meh. Guess that's better than nothing.
Why don't you return it and just buy from one of the other sellers? It seems like that would be worth the time on a $600 item to get it brand new? All the other sellers are selling it for $595 plus free shipping.

I'm sorry you had an issue, but I'm actually glad Amazon didn't give you a flat % refund -- people take advantage of Amazon's generous refund policy enough as it is, and I feel like giving standard % refunds on big-ticket items is just asking for trouble.

And I in no way am insinuating that's what you were doing - I just mean that the more they do stuff like that, the more people advertise it on the internet (like in this forum for example), and people become assholes and lie to Amazon to get refunds.

Regardless, I am sorry you had this problem - anytime you don't get what you order it is extremely frustrating, and no one wants to return stuff and repurchase. I can say, however, that this RARELY ever happens with Amazon. Now items getting damaged during shipping because of poor packaging...that's another issue :)

I've had a bad experience with Backcountry in the past when buying some ski pants. They're the only third party selling the colored frames I want so I said fuck it, not risking the hassle with them again.
Or you could return the glasses and go on a 3-day cruise!!! Sunglasses are nice, but memories and good times are priceless! :)
Haha I'm like the opposite. Sure, I like to get away and have a good time when I can. But I tend to think why spend money on something I will enjoy for a few days when I could spend it on something I could enjoy for much longer.

I'd much rather have the cruise than sunglasses though

Got my Batman AA and KOF 02/03 today from TextBooks LLC came in prestine condition.

My Shaun White Skateboard game came in yesterday, wasn't mind like advertised but it was in fair condition. Overall amazed that all of this even went through.

Cool. Just my packages and yet another crushed Game Boy game in a bubble mailer. When will this madness end? Luckily it was only $0.99 and I don't really care much about it. I'm tempted to return it just because they seem to like destroying like new games.
its been up for a good part of the day, it was actually posted here earlier by someone. I'm really surprised nobody has bought it yet.
The Signature edition definitely lost a lot of steam -- went from being highly sought after to a so-so product. Hell, I saw 3 of them at Gamestop.

I'm sure you already know this because you seem on top of things - but have you left packaging feedback?

received my micro and it was definitely not acceptable condition. the screen is scratche dto hell that it is unplayable

My $2.04 Sacred 2 from TBRU arrived and it's pretty nice, but hey, UPS. You've got a game in a bubble mailer. You've got a metal mailbox on the street, and you've got a mail-slot on my front door. Maybe next time stick it in one of those places and not just leave it on my back porch in the rain. Are they serious?

I picked up a Very Good PS3 Move Bundle a few days ago. Got it yesterday. The outside of the box was resealed with packing tape, though everything inside looks new. The game is sealed, cables wrapped and tied, and the manuals sealed. It's been running for about an hour now without any issues. The only real problem I'm having is with the Data Transfer Utility. It's so retardly difficult and complicated.

Thinking of getting ES: Oblivion. Is there a point with Skyrim coming out? I only have so much time to play games and I hear you can sink lots of time into it.

I just started to do so recently since I've been ordering more and more boxed games that are taking damage in transit. I had brought it up before over the phone a month or so ago when calling about something else.

edit: prices on AWD seem to have gone up quite a bit tonight, odd

yup. they have...i was about to jump on a "acceptable" Wii for 112.99 but it jumped back to 130.

By law only the USPS is allowed to use your mail box.

I noticed this a little while ago also. I checked my cart for any drops and pretty much every AWD was raised in price from $5-$15.

It's illegal for UPS to put in your mailbox, but they could have used the front door mail-slot. Though, UPS drivers are under stringent time constraints so they have to be in and out -- aka no time to fiddle for the ideal location. Sometimes it's annoying when it rains and what not, but it's the nature of the beast.

For every one or two crappy games that went down in price, about 6 other acceptable/decent/good games went up $3-$20 in price. -_-

Amazon has a way of deterring me from spending money. :whistle2:#

Must be because it's the weekend? I swear they do some bizarre price adjustments. Some games that were dirt cheap a couple days ago are back up to $20-$40.

If you got the room on your porch, make a paper box. For any papers you might get or for any packages you may get. Keeps both dry and out of sight for people driving/walking by.

Pretty sure it's illegal for UPS to do anything with your mailbox or mail slot, they have to leave the package somewhere else.

This is correct
Pretty sure it's illegal for UPS to do anything with your mailbox or mail slot, they have to leave the package somewhere else.
They always slide my packages, even if they are ginormous, under my doormat. They always knock like hell, but even if I open the door a few seconds later, the dude is already out of sight.

They usually ring my door bell, leave the package on a chair out front and run. 9 out of 10 times I hear their truck pulling up, though.

And regarding TBRU fulfilled by Amazon products, make sure you double check your orders as I ordered two copies of Battlefield Bad Company 2: Ultimate (PS3) but one copy was Ultimate, the second was "Limited Edition" which I assume is just the generic one, however the label stated 'Ult' on it. So keep an eye out if you ordered anything similarly 'Fulfilled by Amazon'

I'm also kinda happy (in the wallet and backlog) that the prices are in their 'higher' phase right now, between the recent TBRU deals, the prior Gamestop deals, and the deals I've gotten on Warehouse, my backlog is now 300% larger (3 games to 9). I just need to avoid looking here since Vanquish and Majin were both tempting.

just sold my Move budnel on craigslist for $85, that means I got a like new 320gb PS3 for $173 :)

im also thinking about selling the controller since I already have 3 of them and I rarely play with someone

They never ring my doorbell, even if both cars are in the driveway. They just leave the package on the doorstep. I came home an hour ago and there was a game in an envelope on my stoop. Its raining, package is soaked. Luckily the game was sealed or I would have been pissed.

I always get the same UPS guy in my neighborhood and I told him to knock like hell and never leave anything without me signing for it because I've had stuff stolen from my porch before.

i swear my delivery guy is a ninja. in the 20 seconds it takes for me to get from my living room couch to the door (after his initial knock, he does a double knock) he's already gone and his vehicle is nowhere in sight. i have caught him a couple of times though and yes he is japanese, very suspicious :)

I got home from work tonight and didn't find my Deadly Premonition on my doorstep. I checked my order status and it said it was left at my porch.

I had lost my mail key a few days ago and put my mail on hold at the post office. Is there any chance my package could be at the post office? Don't wanna accuse my neighbors just yet.

Though most of them are Mormon, so I wouldn't be against it.

By federal law, they're not allowed to use either. Those are reserved for USPS only.

edit: Aaand it's already been noted a million times. Carry on.

Just got Crisis Core, like new for $8 and the cover is a silver foil, are all the covers like that? Perfect shape too, real happy again with AWD.

Do you think this would be OK if you said, "Though most of them are black..."

Huh. I learned something today. Still, the mail slot's right in your face when pull up, it's certainly faster than running around the back, especially when he leaves big boxes right under that mail slot. But, hey, I shouldn't be complaining, I know working for UPS is no picnic and they still get it here in two days.

Also, he never rings the bell because he's afraid of this:
Thank you. It'll be nice to go through the story again. Has to be the game that I played the most amount of hours in my life.
If you're only playing for the story...isn't this available on PSN for $10?
