The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

So somehow that not even Overhaul support can explain all of my save game files for the Baldur's Gate game with Sixth Level characters where I literally just dual classed two of them got deleted but the folders are still there. Every single save I had gone.

So given that's killed my drive to play any Infinity Engine games for a bit as I wanted to import my BG 1 character into 2 when I finished, does anyone have any other recommendations for a deep isometric rpg in that sort of vein or Shadowrun Returns style? Preferably with graphics at least on par with those two. The Spiderweb games I just can't bring myself to play.

What I wouldn't give for Fallout ports right now. Where's Good Old PC to Android Games...
Knights of the Old Republic?

Yeah I am leaning towards giving it another go. I am just craving isometric. Between the time I posted that question and about 45 minutes ago I completed Shadowrun Returns for the 3rd time.

I wanted to really like FFRK but just got bored of it. It has strategy....but not too much, grinding but not too much, enough characters but not too much, enough variety but not too much....just got repetitive quickly. Also didn't help that good weapons were a gamble. When you put about 75% of the game on autoplay it's likely not the one for me. It doesn't scream cash grab at least and does play on nostalgia well. Just without a decent story, FF fights become a slog. Played for about 4-5 days and now uninstalled. YMMV.

I want to like it but it's programed like garbage. Everything is so laggy in the menus and I don't have a weak tablet (samsung note 10.1 2014 edition) it makes me feel like I am trying to play games on a $50 tablet :/

I like it, but it doesn't really have its hooks in me yet. The menus could definitely need some work as well as some simplification. It seems like I have all these relics and orbs but no gold to spend it on.

Trying it on my LG G4 and Gpad, it's laggy on both. I'll log in to get my daily freebies - but I'm not investing much time in it right now myself.

I guess Google now has free apps of the week.

Go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/category/FAMILY?hl=en and click the green banner that says "Free App of the Week".

banner.jpg

The free app is Daniel Tiger Grr-ific Feelings (normally $2.99).

Direct link -> http://play.google.com/redeem?code=PBSKIDSFree

It seem to apply some promo code PBSKIDSFree to make it free.
The fact that it says it's Free App of the Week "by PBS Kids" in the banner makes me think it may just be free kids games.

Hope I'm wrong but we'll see.

Anybody know if Danmaku Unlimited 2 works on the Nvidia Shield Portable with the physical controls? I love shmups but hate touch controls.

I was wondering this as well, but a shooter like this, I'm sure I'll suck either way. LOL

Why "physical" controls aren't mandatory for games like this is beyond me. Even though all devices are touch screen, there are many that have and use physical controls. It's all about options, and this is my biggest issues with Android. There is no standard in place, and there should be.

*Edit: Whoops. Headpiece posted about this already. Well anyway there's the titles with direct links if it makes any difference.

There's 20 games in all on Kemco 99 cent sale at Google Play.

http://www.kemco-games.com/global/pr/sale_jun15_a.html

Aeon Avenger

Asdivine Hearts

Bonds of the Skies

Chrome Wolf

Chronus Arc

Covenant of Solitude

Crystareino

Dead Dragons

Destiny Fantasia

Eclipse of Illusion

Fanatic Earth
Fortuna Magus

Grace of Letoile
Illusion of L'Phalcia
Infinite Dunamis
Link of Hearts
Revenant Saga
Rusted Emeth

Seven Sacred Beasts

For some reason I have a Gotta Catch Em All (when on sale cheap) mentality with these Kemco games but don't ask me how they are. I haven't played most of them. :p

Complex but fun. It's certainly deeper than most of the turn based strategy type games I've found on Android. I don't know that I would have paid $4 without survey credit but I am really stingy. I think it is probably priced pretty appropriately at $4 though.

Looks like they updated Kingdom Rush w/ a way to earn 100 free gems per ad you watch.

That's good. I don't really like to spend money on in-app purchases. I'll take some free gems. :)

I love this game. Has there ever been a sale on the other Kingdom Rush games on Google Play? I know the others have been free on Amazon, but they seem to only work on Kindle Fire devices.

Have a good many of those apps but cool nonetheless. Thanks for posting.

Make sure you get Monument Valley, good game. Short but well done.

Also looks like some of the Kemco games for a dolla on Google play are now available on the Amazon app store for the same price.

So do you get this Monument Valley Ida game in the game as an add-on or is it a separate app? IIRC I got the Forgotten Shores addon from within the game.

I have it on Amazon FWIW so I don't know if it will be free there too or what.

OP needs the title changed.  "Waking Mars" is now $2.99 and every time I see this thread it makes me think a Veronica Mars game is coming out!

There wouldn't be that much to do in a Veronica Mars game.

Veronica: "Daddy, I'm going to need the house tonight. I'm having boys over."
Keith: "Did anyone get murdered today?"
Veronica: "No but maybe one of my fuck buddies will ask us for help."
Keith: "Okay, but if it's that Echolls kid, I'm going to tase him."

Today as in the 25th? The app shows Monument Valley as free, but no big app giveaway again.

Yeah, it finally updated. Just glad to finally get a legit version of Exiles...though it's still several builds behind the google playstore version. Why are the Amazon versions never updated like the playstore versions?
