Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon.

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

It's really cheap and they kind of hinted that if this sells well they'll bring over the series.

Funimation is moving warehouse, so restock probably won't happen until May.

I can only speak to Chaos;Child, but the price that it's at on Rightstuf right now ($12.99) is the lowest I've personally ever seen it and where I bought in at. As for the Essentials label that you see on some FUNimation shows, I don't think they're bad at all. They're usually a cheaper way to secure the show since the initial release typically included Bluray/DVD whereas the Essentials version will be just Bluray and Digital. This isn't always the case, but it's the pattern I"ve noticed. They used to do S.A.V.E. sets which had the ugly green banner on the side which were a real eyesore, but they've moved away from that. I'd personally recommend them.

Thanks for the input! I was worried since most of the sale items were essentials packs and were much cheaper than the regular sets, i'll definitely pick up more than a few of those

Mewtwo Strikes Back is a better film than it gets credit (no thanks to 4Kids), with a much different tone that wouldn't be seen again for a while.

Dropped by my area mall for the first time since 2019 on Thursday afternoon. Use to work closeby to it so would frequent the F.Y.E. that was just inside one of the entrances frequently back then. Was super disappointed to discover that F.Y.E. hardly carries any media now. In years past about 80% of the store was various forms of physical media neatly categorized and alphabetized. But now? Now it's a glorified junk store full of the same sorts of non-gaming crap that GameStop is full of. They had two little kiosks of DVD & Blu-Ray and that was all! One tiny rack of CDs, and a full aisle of vinyl records. Rest of the shore was just pointless crap like t-shirls and Funko Pop. Such a shame! I bought sooooooooo much anime (new & used) at that store location over the years, and now there's no reason to ever go back to it.

They do have a annual Holiday Sale, keep in mind that Killing Bites was only just released in January, typically Sentai doesn't drop the price of a title by more than 50% within the initial year of release. That is to say it's more likely to see a significant discount on that title during the Valentine's Day 2022 Sale.
