I dunno if I would call it pop-in. But it is definitely being added as they play. I would consider it more of a shallow draw distance, at least for the foliage stuff to prevent slowdown. A lot of games do this, but I've never seen one where it is that close to the player before. It is kinda distracting

I'm well aware games do this, I've just not seen it that close to the player either. Maybe this game isn't going to be great. I want it to be though. :/

I think the fact that they aren't releasing it to coincide with the movie (I know it has little if anything to do with the plot of the new movie) that it won't be on the general public's mind who saw it in theaters. I know fans of Mad Max and I am sure other gamers will get it, but it won't be as much as it could have been.

BUT with that said I am a firm believer that I would rather a game be delayed to allow a proper development then rushed out in the hopes of making money. I just hope this game sells well.

 
Does anyone know if you get the 2x points on game time cards? If not, I'd go ahead and use some certs and cards I have to burn. I don't use those on games usually, because I gotta maximize me pointz but since you don't get the GCU discount on cards, I would think you wouldn't get the extra points either.

Also nice how the checkout doesn't show you the double points either.

You do get double points for gaming store credit.
 
Yep... can confirm double points for gaming cards. Bought a 1 year PS Plus card back when they were on sale for $39.99 and got double points for it.

How do you change a pre-order when you placed it a while ago?

I need to change the address on my payment credit card AND location at which to pick up the game.  Do I call?

It wont let me change the pickup address for some reason on Halo 5.  When I click the store to change it to it denies it...

My card is expiring in Dec and my CC company already sent me a new one. 

I have MGS CE, Fallout Pip Boy which are sold out.

Normally I'd just wait it out but Best Buy won't let me preorder anything else from the Fall with the expiring card because the expiration is "too close" to the release date, so I want to switch. But I don't know if it'll work out.

I changed the CC# on my Phantom Pain CE, and my order is good. I just had another one of those pending charges disappear earlier this month.

Have fun...I just called BBY to change the Store Pickup location for Halo 5 AND the shipping address on PIP Boy Edition.

They "COULDN'T" change the store pickup location on my Halo 5, so I am losing out on a $5 BBY cert now that I have to cancel it.

AND they can't change the shipping address on the FO4 Pip Boy Edition until AFTER it ships......??? wtf

You may want to try the BBY forum; they take care of it rather easily and less painful too. I got mine taken care off via the forum, when I had to change the shipping address.

I think I'm going to hold off on mad max and wait for a cheap used copy or a good sell, see what reviews say first

So I guess the next game I get mite be uncharted trilogy, if that,I doubt I'll be buying anything new this year, with all the games coming in the spring,heck I think the spring has the better line up

Edit:Mirrors edge catalyst(day one buy) ,ark,Deus ex,dishonored 2,home front, kingdom come, ratchet and clank, uncharted 4, doom, dark souls 3, the division and I'm sure I'm missing something,I think this is a great line up, it seemed every game at e3 was spring 2016

The Fall lineup is pretty hard to beat. Also I'd be willing to bet at least two of the games you mention don't release in Spring 2016.

That's the funny thing about opinions, I have a different one than you lol, I would rather have the games in the spring than this year, only game that I would love to play this holiday badly I'm going to have to wait till the end of next year to play lol

So what's the cheapest I can get Madden 16 if I have last year's game?  If I preorder Online for the $10 coupon can I still trade in Madden 15 when I go to pick up Madden 16?  Also when you trade in 15 for 16 the $20 comes off this year's game right, so it brings it from $60 to $40 before the GCU discount applies?  If you trade in Madden 15 for 16 and have GCU then can you get it for under $30, is this actually right? 

Sorry for the questions I've just never done this kind of trade in at BB before and am curious how it all works.  If I can't get Madden for $30 or under then I don't think I will pick it up at all.

Just to make it simple...

Go to the store and pre-order the game for $5.Trade in your copy of Madden 15 and you'll get a $10 coupon (useable only In Store I think) and a gift card with up to $22 on it (depends on the trade in value and if you have GCU for the 10% boost).

Go back to the store when the game comes out. Pick up your pre-order and present the $10 coupon and the gift card, if you want to use the GC on the game, and whatever else you want to use to pay the game off.

 
Would the 20% be taken off $43 or after the coupon and gift card? I was planning on getting Madden during Black Friday but with this deal and the $10 certificate it might be better to get it now.

If you have Madden 15 and GCU you will get Madden 16 for

$59.99 - $10 coupon = $49.99 - 20% GCU = $39.99 (+tax) - $22 giftcard = $18(+tax on 40) out of pocket.

Preorder in-store with $5 down and trade in Madden 15 before release date.

If you have GCU, you might be able to trade Madden in to Best Buy for a profit soon after the Black Friday ad leaks and then pick it up for cheaper. I did this last year, but it depends on how they price Madden on Black Friday.
