I just went in to my BB store today and had no problem using the image of the coupon onmy phone. The clerk simply entered the digits below the bar code and then it discounted the $10 off the price. The coupon stacked with my Gamers Club Unlocked 20% off new games discount. I purchased three games separately using the code:

So people have actually found this $10 coupon in store? I went to a store in Appleton, WI and was given the run around for 30 minutes before I had to leave to get back to work. Their manager claimed it must have been regional after looking at the local ad. I said it was in the company news and not the ad to which they replied that they no longer have access to their employee news. I just called customer support to verify that the stores are supposed to have this coupon. The woman called over to a store in Jacksonville, FL and they did not have the coupon and searched the employee news and was unable to find this flyer. He found the Call of Duty discount with Mario Kart but that was the only Wii U deal he found in it.
Can someone please provide more information on where this can be found so we can direct the employees at the stores who seem to be clueless? Otherwise I would highly suggest that people do not waste their time trying to get in on this deal. It is extremely YMMV for now.

its too late. you had to make a 1$ or more donation at gamestops during late may to get one on your receipt
I did it three times in separate transactions. Once at customer service to price match Mario 3D World and then two separate transactions at the regular checkout line. Obviously it is YMMV because the coupon does say one use per guest, but it seems likely that the employee won't really care if you use it again. As far as being banned by GCU, I think you're worrying too much. The chances of that seem incredibly slim since you are just taking advantage of a deal that BB is offering. Doesn't really seem like a ban worthy offense.
They won`t ban for that unless you also got 4+ of the same game w/GCU.
Pretty sure this would be
1- in-store only
2- wouldn`t work with a pm w/o manager override
3- Only apply to new games

Can someone please tell me where to find this coupon? I just got back from BB and dealt with the store manager and the guy did not honor it despite bringing the printout. He refused so I ended up paying 10 bucks more than I should have for W101. The guy said he'd never seen it before and that he couldn't override it (obviously lying). I'm going to call customer service tomorrow and complain.
it doesnt work on w101 because it is a clearance game. the coupon excludes all clearance games. only works on new and sale wii u games.
They had a stack on the customer service desk when I went in. Not surprised they had no idea about the coupon when you went in seeing how the majority of the employees at my local BB never even heard of the gamers club to begin with.

Asgaga is right, the coupon does exclude clearance items but I'll admit that Best Buy does a horrible job of marking clearance items in store sometimes. If you call in any complaint it should probably be related to how the manager handled it if anything. If he was trying to help but ultimately couldn't figure out why it didn't work and apologized for not being able to honor it give him a break as he probably didn't know the game was on clearance. If he was a total dick and out right questioned the authenticity of the coupon even though it is from Best Buy then yes, proceed to make a comment regarding it.

Didnt see it at the Best Buy i went to. I just showed him the picture and he put the number in the computer. Took off $10 from a preowned SM3DW since they didnt have any new ones left.

They wouldn`t accept it or wouldn`t get it for you? In-store you can have one of the pc reps demo a printer & print the actual coupon from the OP. I doubt it`s a regional promotion otherwise it would've been stated in the employee newsletter.

I tried it with a printed coupon and it worked (although not very smoothly). I handed the cashier my GCU card, the coupon and the game. She scans the game, the card, and then the coupon and the discount for the GCU disappears. I tell her that she should scan the coupon before the card and she starts in about how you can't have two discounts. She calls over management who basically agrees with her. I have to explain that GCU isn't a coupon but rather a discount that I paid for upfront. The manager didn't have much of a comeback and said if the cashier could make it go through it's fine. She voided the transaction and scanned game, coupon and then card and everything went smoothly. The positive is that the coupon itself was never questioned.

The rest of the games I purchase are usually on sale via steam or used games. Yes you also get the magazine but I have not used one coupon out of those. My membership will expire this summer and I dont see how I could renew my membership.

Well judging by your purchase pattern, you paid off the sale GCU sub and saved an additional $12. Is that worth it to you?

It`s been said over & over & over you DON`T base it on just day 1 purchases b/c the 20% comes off sale prices too & stacks with other promotions/coupons/offers creating far greater savings than just 20% off. You either have to spend $300 over 2 yrs in any form $1 games to $250 games it doesn`t matter just reach $300. Factoring in trades/credits/GCU only offers also can be factored in too. Basically, if you buy only $60 games on sale at BB for $40 you`ll earn a completely free $40 game for every 5th game you buy & that`s w/o any extras.
How much did you spend on physical games over the last 2 yrs? If the physical & digital game are the same price which do you prefer? Are you going to trade in games when there`s good value? Over the next 2 yrs are going to spend $150 per yr? Those are the main questions ponder.
Edit: How active are you on CAG or in relation to BB/GCU deals in general? @Gamer is offically dead & in recent months there were plenty of good deals ranging from free games to cheap ones with sale stacks. The last 4-5 @gamer threads had more people begging for coupons or trading/selling them than actual usage posts. Also being that your sub is soon to expire then you should`ve used the $30 2 year re-up coupon vs having to settle for a 50% off sale. Since that would be just $15 per yr 1 new release w/tax per yr would just about break even.

The manager who I have dealt with positively numerous times over the years had no problem letting me buy three different games using the Coupon from my phone on three different transactions. Doesn't hurt that I'm Elite Plus and usually buy most of my stuff from this store

Coupons never work with digital games. You can try but even though it doesnt specifically say it, there is like a 98% it won't work.
I would much rather get it digital though mainly because of the $5 back promo. Seriously if X1 added that on top of the Rewards program I would buy everything digitally.

best buy never carried them in stores but only online on the website and they been sold out online for months now. So a restock online is very slim since there haven't been one yet

bestbuy had the game listed for 15.99 on their site the last time i saw
Managed to get the coupon to work for a digital download of New Luigi U. The manager was okay with it since nothing specifically said that it doesn't work on digital, but I think that it helped that it was the third of three transactions that all went wrong on their end, so I think that he was willing to just let it go.

Also, if anyone is looking for a copy of Sonic Lost World for either the MK8 $20 off promo or the $10 off coupon deal, don't trust the online pickup tool on the Best Buy website. It only shows availability for the standard version which wasn't available anywhere within 100 miles for me, but I went to both of my closest stores and each had copies of the "Deadly Six Bonus Edition". It was the same price ($44 before $20 off and GCU).

Dude I joined GCU in February and I still haven't recieved my welcome package....
I've sent multiple emails to a customer service specialist that eemailed me asking if I had any questions or needed help with anything. That's honestly why I'm a little skeptical as to whether or not I should go ahead and stack more time onto my account.

Forget phone CS, chat & emails go thru the forums page they know about the gaming offers & work hard to.get stuff fixed. Although they don`t have the ability to consistantly offer compensation pts/gc`s if you really wanna fix that should be the 1st move.
When you search the forums you`ll see heavy CAG influence which also works in your favor. There`s already several CAG with current threads about the same issue. Piggyback in one of the post or make your own.
From the feedback got seems like the massive influx of new subs has them overwhelmed. Would`ve been so much easier if they`d just listened and made the welcome kits available instantly in-store. Not like they offer GCU signup online yet, more people would join just to use the coupons on the spot. If they offered enhanced coupons to correspond with the $120 price increase they`d actually be able to sell GCU at full price.
They just emailed me and several other users the coupons and stated it is 5 business days max. So just inform them on the BB forum as this is a widespread problem.
