Why isn't Amazon PMing Monsters Vs. Aliens? Boo.

I really don't want to drop $3 on shipping from Best Buy.

I've been wondering that as well.

That will be a lightning deal tomorrow.
Yes, $9.99 Lightning Deal.

I just popped in real quick, so I don't have time to search the thread... complete apologies if this has been answered already:

The James Bond Blu-ray 10-Pack... do those have actual cases for all ten, or is it set up more like the 3-packs?

Thanks!

The deals have been pretty weak this year IMO. I already have Watchmen, Braveheart, and most of the other good stuff that has popped up so far.

I did order Raging Bull, There Will Be Blood, and Coraline though. I love the first two, and Coraline is supposed to be pretty good (and look amazing on Blu).

I passed on Donnie Darko for now; if it's still the same price tomorrow when the Mad Men lightining deal hits, I'll probably bite.

It's funny, I just borrowed the Braveheart and Transformers DVDs from my friend and Walmart had them on sale for 10 bucks. send in the UPCs from the Blu-Ray and DVD versions get 10 bucks, which is a free Blu-Ray. Pissed I didn't pick up Transformers. Might go back and pick it up tomorrow.

So Far

Blu-Ray

Fast & Furious $9.99
Ice Age 3 $10.00
There Will Be Blood $9.99
Wolverine Origins $0.00
Fringe $27.99
Caroline $10.00
Monster vs. Aliens $10.00
Zack and Miri $3.99
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen $10.00
2 Fast 2 Furious $5.50
The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift $5.50
The Fast & The Furious $5.50

Nice list there, WiiDsmoker. Here's what I've nabbed so far:

X-Men Origins 0.00
Transformers 2 $.96
Braveheart $.42
The Departed $.42
Gladiator $.42
Wanted $.42
Ice Age DotD $.42
See No Evil $.42
Road House $.42
Mosters Vs. Aliens $7.99
Coraline $8.99
James Bond 10 Pack X2 $59.99/$119.98

Before anyone asks: I used a few promo code/gift cards I had in my account, lol.

I don't think there's anything else for me to get...unless Crank 2, Kingdom of Heaven, Forrest Gump & Master & Commander hit below $10.

I'll also look out for The Godfather and Rocky sets.
Got Wizard of Oz: Emerald Edition @ Target for $12.99! Not too bad!
Was this in-store?

I'd pick that up, but IDK if it'd be worth a stop; I know Targets only got a few of those in stock per store...hmmm
Bummer missing the Fast and Furious titles at Walmart. Oh, well. Not meant to be, I guess.
yeah, same here. :(

I was gonna pick up Dark Knight on Blu Ray, but I'm not too impressed by Amazon's lightning deal. $10 is good, but it was priced at $12 before the lightning deal.

Someone above just mentioned walmart.com. But it appears they're sold out now.

http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMP...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1259338902&sr=8-1

I wanted to pick up this player for my bedroom is this a good player for the money? Also it does have some streaming functions but no NetFlix as of yet. Is that something they can add down the road via a firmware update, or are Panasonic players not able to support it?

P.S.
If somebody can point me towards a better player for in around the $100.00 to $150.00 range that would be great.

Picked up The Departed and Ghostbusters on Blu-Ray

Thinking about stopping back at Best Buy and getting silence of the Lambs and V for Vendetta.

I picked up all on Blu Ray

XMen Origins : Wolverine 9.99
Fast and Furious 9.99
Drag Me to Hell 11.99
Gladiator 10.00
I Am Legend 7.99
Mad Men Season 1 14.99
Mad Men Season 2 20.49
Braveheart - 10.00

I got these on bluray at best buy

xmen origins wolverine 9.99
Fast & Furious 9.99
The Dark Knight w/ Batpod 12.99

I went at 12:00 and the bins with all the blurays was surrounded by people, and all the good ones were gone. I went to the bluray aisle and found these on the shelf where they usually are, nobody else was there.

So if you dont find anything try looking on the shelves

Woot, just picked up Venture Bros. Season Three Blu-Ray new for $19.99+tax at MovieStop! Around $4 less then Amazon (as of right now anyway lol).

Well I made my last order of stuff earlier today. Picked up:

Mad Men Season 1: $14.99
Donnie Darko: $10.49
The Spirit: $12.99

Total: $38.47 ($51.20 with the other order)

It was a bit much for only 3 Blu's, but of them is an entire season of a show I've really wanted to see, and I like the other two films. I think I did alright, but this definitely wasn't the best Black Friday for Blu's IMO

I thought it was pretty solid. Good prices on movies I already own (Wolverine, Fast & Furious, 300, WB Titles) or wouldn't buy (Monsters vs Aliens, etc). I personally was very very happy to get The International, State of Play and Drag Me to Hell for $11.99 each.

Earlier today, I bought TDK on Blu-Ray for $10 at WM. This was the first time that I've actually spent cash on a Blu-Ray purchase. The other Blu-Rays in my collection were picked up at GS (using store credit) when they clearanced them out.

That's the problem; it was already on stuff I own or don't care about.

I was hoping some of the more obscure stuff would turn up cheap, but no dice.
are blu rays at Target still on sale on Saturday?
I'm 95% sure they are, other than the doorbusters, if there were any.

Borders had some obscure stuff to sell. I bought "Mad Max and "Rachel Getting Married" on DVD for $5, along with "Milk" and other independent movies.

Picked up The Dark Knight for 7.99 and Coraline for 9.99. There is a web coupon that you can print out on Target's website for 5 dollars off any Blu-ray. Contemplating going back and getting The Last Samurai and Training Day for 4 bucks a piece.

I completely forgot about the Blu's I wanted at Target. Went today but they didn't have any of them. Might go back to a different one after my haircut.

Wanted Gremlins and Wizard of Oz, I know its a fast chance but here's to hope!!!!

I wish I had seen info about the coupons before, but was able to snag Gremlins (a good 5-10 copies left scattered around the movie area) and the LAST Wizard of Oz at Target this morning pretty early. Quite happy, too, since I had a gift card. I was shocked they had stock, they must have put them all in the back in the week leading up to BF since both were gone when I was there earlier in the week. I was resisting these due to a semi-boycott of store exclusive stuff, but when they're priced this good, I had to bite. (I'm sure they'll be $12.99, or even $9.99, some random week at Fry's but it's nice to have now)

Grabbed 12 blus at Target using the $5 off coupons - wanted Wizard of Oz, but no luck. Grabbed an extra Gone with the Wind for some reason...
I wish I had seen info about the coupons before, but was able to snag Gremlins
I'm not finding this Target coupon anyway. Could someone please point me in the right direction on this?

You can go back with your receipt and apply the coupon at customer service.

^ When I got my coupons, they were never displayed on screen. They are just printed directly. Maybe you can upgrade your browser or try from another machine?

I was able to grab two copies of Gone with the Wind at my local Target, but they were out of Wizard. After calling around I found a store 45 minutes away which had 1 copy left. I crossed roads and I crossed state lines into a non-tax free state and paid nearly $10 worth of tolls. I'm not even sure if it was totally worth it. I still paid under $9 for it so that's pretty cool and Christmas shopping is that much closer to being done.

Just got back, they were out of some that I might have picked up (Kill Bill Vol. 1&2, others I dont remember) but I ended up getting

Ratatouille $15
The International $10
Fast & Furious $10

I know F&F was $5.50 at WM but it's OOS, going to return this one if I can grab that. I also saw they had Coraline for $15 so you could get it for $10 w/ the coupon. I'm thinking of going back with more coupons cause it said the prices were for Friday & Saturday only
