Do we know which companies are going to be offering their Black Friday deals online?

So far I only want Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell for my Wii U from Gamestop and possibly their Buy 1, Get 1 Free deal on Disney Infinity figures.

If I can avoid having to go to a store at midnight to get 'em that would be sweet.

If it's anything like last year, Best Buy, Walmart, and Gamestop for sure. Look out for Amazon to PM a lot as usual.

By the way, when did Amazon raise the Free Shipping cap from $25 to $35? That sucks.

Ugh.

Good for you on the Prime. I would do Prime, but I already have so many problems with Amazon always choosing Lasership as the shipping provider for pretty much everything I buy from them now. I'd be royally pissed if I'm paying $80 or whatever a year, and things aren't showing up when they're supposed to or in some cases, at all. So thank God for Best Buy's RZ Free Expedited Shipping.

I don't recall Walmart's gaming deals going online last year. iirc, the only way to get the Walmart BF gaming deals online were via Amazon lightning deals that sold out fast. If Walmart's deals were online, then Amazon wouldn't sell out as fast.

The Amazon spending requirement was raised about a month ago.

Finally had a peak into the display boxes holding the games this year and the Upc's are not tagged over with "New Upc's/Event Upc's." If the system updates the sale prices at midnight on Thanksgiving day, the games inside of the glass cases will have the sale price way before the sale starts. 

Each store is allocating their own stock of PS4's and Xbox Ones for the event and so far we've a ton of them come in. YMMW however, as I'm hearing reports from friends that other stores aren't getting as much or have substantially less stock than my store.

Not trying to be a jerk but lots of work places have to work on holidays. I have bbeen working in the hotel industry for 15 years and have worked about 80% of the holidays. It sucks but if it were that bad I would find a different line of work where I was off on holidays.

For a lot of us, its just part of the reality of having to pay the rent. I'd love to not have to work graveyards and holidays, but that's just the life I ended up making for myself. Past transgressions and all that.

 
I managed to get both the red/black and black/black 3DS XLs on the Lightning Deal. I opened the lightning deals page in two different browser windows so I could click both of them as fast as possible when the countdown hit zero. My heart is still racing from that, but now I don't have to set foot outside on Black Friday (unless I decide to go to Gamestop). Thanks, CAG!

Same here, got both even though I don't think the deal is all that fantastic, then again I'm a real cheap bastard. They should however make decent gifts, even though I'd prefer to pay $100 or less a piece...

Those would be gifts so I'm in no hurry, you think Best Buy or Amazon would have it at those prices after BF? Historically speaking that is, I know you can't really know. I might just buy them at the price at Amazon or Best Buy because I have credit there and there's no way I'm setting foot in Wally's World on BF.

Question, does the sale also apply to games that have Walmart exclusive content? For example, my Walmart still has a lot of Assassin's Creed III and Tomb Raider copies that carry the Walmart exclusive content inside, are they part of the $15 sale, or are they considered separate from the sale and only the regular release is counted as part of the $15 sale?
 
Some nice deals that hopefully Amazon will price match. I'm not leaving the house. Some might be worth ordering from Gamestop/Walmart if they have the same deals online, still pretty good even with shipping.

 
My original launch PS3 fat just stopped working right in the middle of ratchet and clank nexus. It all of a sudden went to red light flashing 3 times. I turned it off and back on from back switch and light would turn green then it would go red flashing 3 times. It had been on for 15-20 hours straight and I'm just hoping I can get my new disc out. My question is I'm thinking that the last of us bundle from walmart will be the best deal for me at $199 but will that be online or in store only? Also my fat has a 500 gig hdd and I'm thinking of just using the 250 in the super slim and download all the 150 plus games I've purchased and got from PS+ onto the super slim just a few at a time and delete them as I play and beat one. I'd love to transfer everything over and buy a PS3 with a larger hdd but I'm afraid even if I get my fat working again it would most likely crap out after trying to transfer 500 gigs worth of date over. I'm at a loss anyone have any suggestions that has been in this situation? Thanks for any help.

Thanks a lot for the links and info. Too bad there is no Frys nowhere around here. The walmart bundle looks pretty good right now. I really don't want to have to get out that day so online ordering would be great. I found gamestop has the azurite blue 250gb one with the last of us game for $250 and I really like the blue and am wondering if the last of us game comes in retail package or a cheap sleeve. Still, regardless of color the $199.99 bundle is probably the smartest buy for me. I would consider the 12gb but have discovered you have to not only buy a hdd caddy for $10 in order to install my hdd which I could have lived with but then I find you can't actually use the built in memory once you install the hdd which killed this deal to me. My PS3 is original $600 fat which I bought new and it was manufactured in dec 2006. I'd love to repair it but after reading online the fixes seem to just last a week or 2 at best if it's an overheating issue which I'm sure it is since it had been on for so long.

My Gamestop is cool since we work next door to one another. I went in, asked the manager if he could hold me a copy of BF4 with Borderlands 2 GOTY and a 1 Year card for PS+. He grabbed them, put them on his desk in the back, and said "See ya Friday".

 
So is there anything you guys are getting during BF? There's pretty much nothing I want since I got so much stuff cheaper throughout the year (DAT B2G1+30 percent).

Thanks to the Elite Plus Early Access Sale yesterday and the Deal Of The Day today, not really! I'm like 95% done. Just need The Last Of Us and I'm still waiting for a random Metal Gear Legacy deal to pop up.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Buying anything before Black Friday is a risk. There's always a chance it will be a special bf deal. This applies to basically everything.

Plus, it's not like they have hundreds of these per store. Chances are you wouldn't even get a bf set because you won't be in the store early enough.

I'll admit to doing this. Of course, Target makes it obvious when they have risers, cardboard displays with movies in softlines (clothing), and endcaps with bland price headers on special packages so people have asked less and less over the years. When people asked if a item would be on sale, I would smirk and say "maybe". Truth be told, they still hide the ads from team members until the week before even though they are leaked weeks in advance.

Hoping to get Dead Space 3 at a great price from Amazon tomorrow.

Isn't it ridiculous?

You think you're biting on an "early BF deal" only to see it cheaper elsewhere after the fact. If Target advertised this for $150...I think you'd have a large number of people holding out until then. Yes, there is a "risk" of not getting a BF item...but it's just the CA inside of me thinking aloud.
