GameSpot's website put up some half-assed guide to the "best deals" and they're listing AC IV Black Flag as $30 at Best Buy. Is this true or did they make a mistake?

 
For the Walmart insiders in this thread, does the 360 4 gb model have a special UPC or is it the standard UPC. I know that games were ringing up at their sale price earlier in the day last year, what are the odds that any 360s behind glass would also ring up at the sale price earlier than 6 pm?

 
Didn't check the site and totally missed that 3DS XL deal from Amazon, $150 and no hassle i'd bit. All I really want this year is both Nintendo systems and new Mario/Zelda on each.

Any Gamestop people know if the $29.99 PS+ year is for physical cards only or just a print out at register. Am I completely wrong or don't they just point of sale digital codes.  No worries of selling out on digital codes.

So I am stuck thinking about this:

I have finally decided that the Surface will be my "Big Black Friday" purchase this year.

Question I have is:

1) Buy it from Best Buy for 199 and use $25 in certs to drop it to 174 + tax.

or

2) Buy it from Staples for $250 that comes with the touch keyboard and use my 10% Employee Discount. (Which essentially negates tax and a little less than 2% off.) But from buying it there, I will also qualify to enter into my work's raffle, which is every $20 spent is 1 ticket towards some kind of Samsung tablet. (Boss didn't give specifics.)

What time do the walmart specials start online? It says 6pm but that's just for the stores I think, want to know when I should be checking their site.

It won't be in the physical ad since it has already been printed and way too close of release now to fix it.

It also has been said that it isn't going to be on sale, by a Target twitter account.

I would say if anything, at least one person here will try it, and we will know then if the sale will be good or not.

Stupid question but is it worth buying a backup 360 from Walmart for $99 if I already have a slim? Possibility of my slim crapping out is pretty low, I guess...

The possibility of it crapping out is extremely low. It doesn't have the problems of the old fat models. Unless you keep it somewhere with little ventilation or you rage and abuse your console, you should be fine. $99 is pretty cheap though. I've had my slim since the month they released it back in 2010 and its been running perfectly since. Don't see myself replacing it until I decide to go next gen.

 
everything looks weak on amazon today.  except that Playseat Rookie Gaming Seat for use with Nintendo Wii, the ultimate in plastic junk accessories for your wii.

Maybe they're saving all the good stuff for tomorrow.

 
Does anyone know if the Wii U Bundle that Bestbuy is offering will be sold online or if Amazon will sell that bundle through its Black Friday deals?
 
Haven't seen it elsewhere, but I just got back from Walmart and saw a sign next to the PS4 demo unit advertising $30 PS Plus for Black Friday. Add it to the list with Gamestop and Amazon, I guess.

 
Anybody think the Walmart PS3 bundle will be online? If you have an AMEX card you can buy a few gift cards and get $20 bucks off (Check your offers on the site) and use them for your order. Could bring the price down by as much as $60.
