I was able to get a Blue 3DS XL while the price showed $150. My back up plan in case I can't get the Zelda bundle.

Man everything is gone on Wal-Mart. Within 1 hour it was all gone. I acted too late. Do they tend to re-stock online? I recall last year when I was trying to get God of War Saga, it would be out of stock but i kept refreshing the page until it showed in Stock again but since I was undecided it went gone again but I kept trying and trying until it showed up again and got it.

 
Kick Ass is the better of the two ... Chronicle has that whole 'Cloverfield' thing going on with it and personally I just found it distracting. Both are sort of mediocre though, although Kick Ass is entertaining enough to see at least once.

See, I'm in the minority that loved Cloverfield. I also saw it like a year plus after it came out so wasn't affected by the crazy hype.

 
Chronicle was good, though the disc is disappointingly slim on special features, 1 deleted scene and some pre-viz stuff. I find they handle the found footage genre quite well, since the characters
develop powers of telekinesis
it allows for some more dynamic camera shots as well as the ability to keep all of the actors in frame.

Kick Ass is funny as hell. Its got Nic Cage basically making fun of himself and McClovin. How can you not like McClovin? I really like Chronicle as well, I haven't seen it in awhile although I own the UK steelbook version of it but from what I remember of it, the ending is pretty darn climactic and the found footage style works really well with it. If movies like Blair Witch Project, Cloverfield, VHS etc make you dizzy because of their 1st person POV filming then I'd say pass but if not, then its a definite buy IMO

I sort of like Cloverfield too, aside from not quite showing the monster enough, but the style didn't work as well for me in Chronicle because it didn't have that bigger scope that Cloverfield had until the end of the movie ... dunno, it's been awhile since I saw it on cable, maybe I'm talking crazy ;)

I've been here all night and I don't think anything was there to begin with. At least from the looks of the thread the games were "sold out" immediately, so I don't think anyone got them.

Plus in the past Wal-Mart hasn't had their gaming deals online, so I think if they do, there's still a chance for you to snag them. Otherwise, try going to the store early in the day and see if the prices ring up. That's what I did last year to 100% success.

 
I think Walmart is messed up right now. I tried searching The Last of Us or Beyond Two Souls and the searches aren't even close or don't show up at all.

I'm disappointed that I can't get store pickup for the Best Buy sales. That would make things so convenient for me... free shipping could take up to two weeks!

 
Finally back from Walmart. I scanned a few items one last time around 2:40 am Central time and they rang up normal price. Some even had those stickers on them that you usually see during Black Friday (the colored dots). I'm kind of glad they didn't have anything live yet as I HAVE to buy in-store since my new debit card hasn't come in yet, so this saved my wallet some.

I may have to buy an Amazon gift card for tomorrow or just go to GameStop for the Just Dance & PS+ deal.

At least you're getting the stuff that way. There's no way they're sending people out into that madness to try and wrestle stuff away from people or even trying to find some things when games and movies are just loose in bins (assuming they're where they should be).

First off I'd like to thank you folks for keeping me well-fed in video games :).  Amazon has AC Black Flag for $34, but there's a small box that says to come back on Dec. 3rd for a special deal on the game.  I'm debating on whether to grab it now or wait, as I'd hate to pass on it and have the deal be for the special/limited edition, which I'm not interested in.  is $34 a good price?

 
Going to bed. Will set my alarm for 8 AM, see if The Last Of Us is up around then. If it's gone, I've got a copy from Best Buy in the cart just in case. Night guys, Happy Thanksgiving and happy shopping! :)
 
Got my kid's their 3ds's on Target's site with 10% off.  The fucking site doesn't have my PS3 bundle so I ordered it from Amazon for $199 without my 10% off.
