And that's about it. The only reason I went to Walmart is because me and my girlfriend were bored last night. I could have passed on the Walking Dead for now, but since I was there and wanted them, I grabbed them. So everything pretty much was done online, which was nice and painless! I got everything I wanted too, except the Target 3-month Live cards, but I usually get 12 months for cheaper than $40 anyway, so I don't care about missing those. I hope you all did good this year also!

I ended up going to another Walmart and had them price match their own ad to pick up Act of Valor on bluray for $3.96. I assume it was an ad error since it was ringing up $12.96 and their website did not have a sale on it either. I will return the DVD version I bought on their site. So now I got everything I wanted...

I've seen Robot Jocks and I get what you mean. And I love it, even if many thought it was mediocre. I'll gladly watch it again and again. Haha.

I went to Walmart this afternoon to pick up some leftover games that were tossed aside.  I went to purchase Ratchet & Clank Collection ($10) and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time ($10).  However, both rang up full price ($19.96 each) as of 5:55pm EST.  I asked the cashier why the Black Friday prices weren't ringing up, and she said the Black Friday sale ended at 2:00pm today.  I don't see anything in the Ad about a 2:00pm friday end time, and don't see any postings about it on forums or internet sites about a 2:00pm end time.  What is up with that?  Has anyone else experienced this?

Ehhh, it's a mixed bag if you're buying it for the sake of using it merely for Netflix and Hulu or whatever. By that I mean the voice control's aren't bad, you just have the fiddle with volume around enough and I got it to the point where I can quietly say thing's and it'll hear and do what I ask. Though it isn't without some problems, I remember watching the XBox press conferences on it and it basically going berserk. Using your arms though to go through features though just feels like it takes more time and effort as opposed to just turning on a controller and doing it. I suspect this is only available at the Florida Mall Best Buy in Orlando, but they had signs up indicating all game guides were $5 on Friday (today) only. I grabbed a bunch of hardcovers, and the only one they wouldn't let me buy was the Tomb Raider Collector's Guide, because it had apparently pennied out (I don't keep track of that sort of thing). The prices needed an override, but the cashier was happy to sell them.

I asked if this deal was available at other locations, but they didn't know.

Overall I did pretty good, I scaled back spending heavily compared to last year. I trimmed down my original wants, like the PS3 with TLOU and BAO bundle, Battlefield 4, COD Black Ops II, COD Ghosts, GTA V, Man of Steel, any printer, etc. I also skipped going to K-Mart and GameStop.

This year was ok, not as great as last year, but still doable.

WM early BF video game sale is always a win. I'm very surprised we CAGs squeaked by another year for back to back epic scoring, I wonder if they will crack us down next year?  Only thing knocking them down a bit is their weak selection of $10 games.

Target was disappointing in video games for me. Selection sucked, but I will give them a pass for their weekly clearance deals they have lately.

Best Buy was dismal.

Toys R Us was nothing important unless you wanted to get XB1 and PS4 games on sale. I was also surprised the DOTM Jetwing Optimus Prime sold out, early reports suggested heavy stock at all stores.

I also hit up Kohls again after missing last year, and man the checkouts lines were freaking long! It was 3:30PM and it was stretched all over the building!

Are the Walmart in-store BF prices dead now???

I went to Walmart this afternoon to pick up some leftover games that were tossed aside. I went to purchase Ratchet & Clank Collection ($10) and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time ($10). However, both rang up full price ($19.96 each) as of 5:55pm EST. I asked the cashier why the Black Friday prices weren't ringing up, and she said the Black Friday sale ended at 2:00pm today. I don't see anything in the Ad about a 2:00pm friday end time, and don't see any postings about it on forums or internet sites about a 2:00pm end time. What is up with that? Has anyone else experienced this?

I bought mine from Amazon (sold and shipped by) and it has a misspelled word on the back label: "recieved". I did some research and apparently even people who got it straight from Nintendo also have labels with the incorrect spelling. Can anyone with a Wii U Pro Controller confirm this?

It was a fortunate/lucky pricing error at my local Kmart.

Everything I purchased was Amazon, Target, Kmart, Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop, and eBay (only 2 items, 1 of which I'm now concerned is counterfeit). I got a lot of Amazon lightning deals, and I price matched a few stores' ads against others.

But there's some games I just can't wait on. Like Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen. It was $19.99 on Amazon's lightning deals and I thought it wasn't enough of a drop from $21.xx. So I decided to wait again after waiting months for it to hit $15. Then I caved and scooped it up at the $21 price tag. I just couldn't wait any longer......that and I had a little help from Jack Daniels.

Thanks to whoever it was that pointed out the B1G1 on Drive and Moneyball. Makes for two extra trips to BBY (one to buy the movies and a second one to return the copy I ordered off the website) but a free BR was worth it. Then I bought a fourth year of PS+ (for a total of five unredeemed years), J. Edgar, Horton Hears a Who, and A Fistful of Dollars. Maybe that trip was a bad idea as a whole.

i watched it earlier and it was soooooooo good, it looked amazing on my sony 3d display i got last bf. it was like godzilla mixed with this old mech movie called robot jocks but pacific rim has much better writing
