I contacted her twice regarding the details of the item but didn't response. I proceed to shipped the item after I received the payment with tracking number. After 2 days she open a dispute on ebay that the item description does not match on the item I'm selling. I tried to use the key that I send her but already been activated on the day she received the key.

Did you sell a DLC?

I always take a video showing that the dlc hasnt bern downloaded. I show the time, date, and the code, along with footagr in game to show that the dlc is not in the game.

For instance, if its a special item dlc, ill show the item list so they can ser i dont have the item. Also show the download history

I'm selling the full copy of the game which I already have that why it's hard to prove that I didn't redeem the code.

From now on I'm selling a Physical copy of the game and accessories but still I'm still targeted by bunch of scammers because Im a new seller.

So I decided to do my business locally to avoid getting scam and do some trading here in CAG.
 
Non-paying bidder: alejandrorios500. Gave them a week before the case was closed, and they didn't message or pay in all that time.

Does the.code work now?

I usually take a video showing my download history, and in game short clips to show that i dont have the dlc downloaded. And cant microsoft track who has used the dlc?

Edit: holy crap i wrote the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. Look at my last post

I sent him one that worked when I checked, claimed it was redeemed, and it was after I checked again. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I sent him another which I checked that very moment, it worked, and then he must have used it because when I checked again the next day it was used. He has only one feedback, which was me pre-emptively before he scammed me.

Tell him to take a video of his download history. He must have redeemed it

Tell ebay about the download history function, and get them to email the scammer and ask for evidence

Should be able to see when he redeemed it

My friend sold a DLC skin for a fighting game (injustice).

The buyer said it itbwas redeemed. My friend took a video of his account. He showed the email thats tied to his gamertag.

Then he booted up the game, and took a video of the character selection screen. The dlc skin is not there. Plus the dlc is not in my friends download history. So he didnt redeem it.

Your buyer might make up an account. So tell him to go to the account settings, and have him show you the email thats tied to his username/gamertag.

And if its a new account, it wint have achievements, so its fake.

Hes in poland.

I shouldnt have gone through with the transaction.

I gave him estimates for first class and express via usps. He chose first class which doesnt come with tracking for international shipping.

He claimed the item never arrive, and theres no way to check unfortunately.

However I spoke with ebay and usps and gave them the customs label ID number. They were able to see that the package left the US.

The representatives advised me to tell the buyer to check with customs. Customs usually hold international packages if postage is insufficient or so.

I told him to check with customs, and his response was

"The item never arrived, I want refund"

I asked him if hes checked with customs.

He files a dispute.

I have the receipt from the post office too lol.

So either he has the item but claims its not there. Or he will check with customs now, since ive just refunded him. Well paypal refunded.

At least confirm that youve checked with customs.

I ended up getting a message saying that he had been a suspicious account and that they removed him from eBay, so looks like I was right. Man, freaking scammers these days are so annoying.

 
You guys are stupid thinking that if you make a video it's going to prove anything, and you can't make Microsoft show you anything or give you personal information without a subpoena which involves more time, money and probably a lot more steps than it's worth. You guys are taking a risk and have been very lucky selling DLC on eBay.

Well its better than just giving up lol and not defending yourself when youre not a scammer.

And we're not asking microsoft... We're asking the seller.

Im no scammer, so id be happy to take tons of videos showing that i dont have the dlc redeemed, and some in game footage showing the dlc is not there. Show my download history that i dont have it. Now ive never been scammed before in dlc transactions, so i dont know if itll work. But i just take those videos in case i need them.

im not a crook, i have 100% feedback, and im willing to defend it.

If i have to refund then ill refund. I dont see it as a waste of time either. It doesnt take long. Ive sold dlcs before with no problems, so if theres a problem in the future, i know that guys a scammer. If i cant get the seller to take pictures of his download history or a video of in game footage, thats fine, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

It's obvious it's kids just goofing around. Probably jealous they don't have a PS4, so don't want anyone profiting from it either.

Worked out in the end. The holiday season it seems like people were really impatient.  I had two others open claims for Non delivery less than a week after buying the item. (and none choose priority which I offer for $5.49 or less than cost-)

I really want to sell off my stuff and be done with it.  Anyone looking to buy large lots of game/ dvd boxsets/ blu rays :)

This guy was the winning bidder on the same item as the guy above, I gave him three days to pay, wrote him numerous times he ignored all messages, opened a case against user and yet again he ignored and shopped a lot on ebay and never payed me, yesterday case was closed and final fees were waived...Do not deal with >_<

Please let me know if anyone is willing to take on the role of updating this list. I got bogged down with family, etc. The first post can be edited by other CAG's. You have to look back a few pages and add/delete the new NPB's and such. Thanks.

Is it okay to post eBay ID of a buyer to be added on the block list on this particular case I'm having?
 
I sold this buyer a rare used game. a week later, got a case opened against me saying the game won't work or load at all and demanded a refund/another copy. That's weird. I immediately shipped out a second copy (personal copy from my collection) to this buyer and then asked this buyer to return the defective copy back to me. A week later, got the game back in the mail and found the disc has mass circular rings on it. Looks like the buyer's 360 damaged the game disc.

I would be willing to keep a list updated, I would not be doing a separated list (non paying vs. pita / scammer)

also sdragon, the initial post is not wiki'd I tried to edit it yesterday.
