CAG Killzone 2 Game Night [Currently Inactive]

I will be playing with the CAG group tonight for the first time since being invited to the clan. I am looking forward to it.

All right, I woke up early this morning and did a few things.

1. The old Casual 1 clan, I cleaned it up (kicking people off)
2. I invited people from the old Casual 2 clan in (many of its top players, not all)
3. I switched PSN accounts to the old Casual 2 clan, where I invited the lower ranked (not very active people from Casual 1 to Casual 2)
4. All the people being invited to either of the two clans who compete, have all been removed from the old Casual 2 clan. I have sent out my invites. I already sent a PM to an officer/clan leader of the other clan on who to invite, who can be removed, and to revoke all previous pending invites.

Very soon I plan to send PMs or PSN messages to those people who were switched clan wise. Those who do not accept new invites will be revoked.

Basically after doing the math and stuff, I realized the size of CAG, two clans is what we needed. Two main clans are less of a pain to deal with, and I explained many other reasons for the recent decision made to a few. The clan listing of the OP will be updated, and the clan division will be updated also (There is NO more Casual or Hardcore clan, its now just two clans there to compete. MOST of the clan will be competing, while some will rarely compete).

I don't feel we've had enough clan battles yet and I take most of the blame for the screwed up clan organization a few times. :whistle2:( After I get confirmation from an officer or leader of the old Hardcore clan (Please come up with a name for the clan) that invites have been sent, I will send PMs/PSN messages to those people telling them they switched clans. Once I get that taken care of, I'm updating the entire OP, redo how clan inviting works, and see if there was anyone who missed getting an invite before (meaning I have to search through the entire thread, yuck).

Once everything gets situated, I will eventually hand over the clan leadership. I just wanted to clean things up so someone else wouldn't have to deal with the mess. I'll be pushing for more clan battles by both clans; however, most WILL be on Saturday evening since in the future there will no longer be official nights open to the forum on Saturday evening (Saturday afternoon it will still happen).

I know SOME might not be happy over the clan changes, but most should be happy (especially those who have been pretty dedicated to the game).
 
Hey Mana, don't beat yourself up over it. Honestly, we're really thankful for everything you do for us.

On another note, I hope to make the two later hardcore clan games. West coast and all, but I should be home from work by 5:30 pm tonight.

EDIT: I can only make the 9:15 pm EST match. I doubt I'll be able to make it home for the 8:30 pm one.
 
I have a podcast tonight so I doubt I'll be able to make it, but I'm out there lurking...practicing. I'm loving the multiplayer so far.

I wish it indicating when you have messages waiting, though. I played for hours online last night, and just happened to check my messages as I logged off and saw about five clan invites. I didn't even know they were there.
 
All right, I did some overhauling to this thread, but I'm far from being finished yet. I updated post 2 to explain the differences between the clans and what's going on (everything is not final, still need to re-fine this. Days registered on CAG MIGHT increase and your minimum rank MIGHT increase):

crap, im in beta but cant make any of those. rarely have things scheduled on thurs or fri, figures id miss 3 games because of it :( i thought we were gonna try and keep sat as the main day?

I know for the Alpha clan, I'm mostly sticking to Saturday and maybe another day in a week.

Sorry about that Disillusion! I'm going to get a 10v10 game scheduled for next SATURDAY, so hopefully you can make it to that one. I'll let everyone know as we get more details. :)

Not realizing I was the Assassination Target until 3 seconds before the timer started was not good...Congrats to Mana for getting the final kill and pushing his team over for the win.:whee:

I threw that spawn point where Mana spawned since I knew you guys would run over in that direction. I had the kill myself, but when I shot the rocket, it hit one of your teammates and it didn't even kill him. Then, I suicided 'cause it was a face to face shot. I'm not sure how you guys didn't see me either since I was waiting there at that spot the whole time.

Good games though. I'm really sloppy after two weeks of no play.

I had a lot of fun tonight also and it was my first night being in a clan game so thanks. I was only 30 points away from the next rank but I had to go to work
 
Thanks a lot for showing up everyone. That was quite a bit of fun. Sorry I ended early, but noticed many wanted to leave early. Not a problem for me since I could always use extra sleep. ;)
 
Uh, oops. My brain kinda lapsed yesterday and today. Me and my buddy finally had some time for RE5 and I totally forgot about Killzone 2!:bomb:

Doesn't help I haven't been getting much sleep lately. I know! I'll set my alarm on my phone for both Saturday games; that way I won't forget again.

Mine has too. I thought for sure I had killed a bunch of you with my shotgun, but it wasn't even a delayed kill.

Tonight was the first "medium" match I've played. Kinda fun, but I miss the clashes of two large factions.
 
Great games last night guys. Even had some fun 1 v 1 after everyone bailed :). My favorite moment was on the Helgan Industry map where I was able to sneak behind enemy lines and take out the Assassination target alone with his escort.

To let the Alpha clan know, they WILL have a game to play on Saturday night at 9pm EST (show up at 8:45pm EST). We NEED 16 people.
 
I don't which clan I'm in but I accepted three times now. A few days I'm in with manaknight and the next thing I know I'm accepting again for another cag clan. I'm in one now with StarkKat as the leader. Which cag clan is that from the first page? I just wanna play with cags and preferably a clan game, please.
