Just noticed the Game days sale ad in the latest game informer. Last year's sale was pretty decent so its worth a thread. I'll try to post the ad and coupon later. Best part is the coupon doesn't say anything about being void if copied. No specifics yet on the sale.

I saw one copy of Brave Story and two of Odin Sphere at my GS, gutted and plastered with stickers though -_-

I'm debating it, might drive out to another store, Planet X, but eh, I juuust don't know...
 
Ordered Odin Sphere and Monster Hunter online. Both arrived sealed. I originally went to a nearby Gamestop but they didn't have either of them left so I decided to order them online. It's pretty late considering this sale started on the 2nd but I was still able to get them. ^_^
 
Picked up with the coupon:

Odin Sphere - sealed, last copy in bin
Katamari Damacy - gutted, but great condition disc and last copy in store, and I'm not gonna complain for only $9

All the games in the bins at the store I stopped by were still sealed.

Thought about the Genesis collection for PSP as well, but passed. Between these, the 3 PSP games I have yet to play, Okami, GH:Aerosmith and Ninja Gaiden II coming later this month, and FFIV DS next month, I don't need any games for quite some time. :lol:
 
Are you guys expecting something good for gamedays for tomorrow's ad or are you just completely disappointed?
What do you think would be good to happen?
By the way, has anyone noticed they've already changed timeshift for 29.99 in their site?

Love Nervous Brickdown. Totally worth the money.

Does multi-card play on Worms 2 work well? Every time I try to play single-card games, the games get out of sync and eventually disconnect from each other.
 
Today "The Club" appeared in the weekly ad, you guys think there may be other games? Has anyone stopped by a GS shop today?

I picked up new copies of Katamari Damacy and Odin Sphere.

I thought Katamari had better resale value but I guess not. Maybe I'll just have a second copy...

I've never played Odin though so I'll give that game a go.
 
I swung by my local GS today, and noticed 2 of the PS3 games on the list have dropped further. Both Harry Potter and Def Jam, which were both previously $19.99, were $14.99. I had almost bought Harry Potter at the start of the sale because I enjoyed the demo, but decided to hold off - for $14.99 I snagged it.

I'm assuming this drop would apply to all GS's. I checked some other games, but didn't notice anything else that had been marked down further.

Well, I think that was before every Gamestop/EB in the country sold several copies each for 9.99. ;)
 
I went to get a Soul Calibur III yesterday. All copies were opened as expected. The guy told me the same old story that the disc was never played..blah blah blah... and he can sealed it for me if I want lol... I asked if they also reseal used games.:D

Anyways, I'm gonna return that resealed copy to them and get it online.

To be honest, I haven't played Worms 2 at all - single or multiplayer. I figured I'd better get a second copy while it was cheap and available, though, in case I ever want to. At some point this year I'm taking a trip with one of my sons and our only gaming systems will be a pair of DS's so I'll probably save it for then. But I guess I'm glad I got a second copy if the single-card is so flaky. I had read about it before buying and it seemed like the second card wouldn't be necessary for our uses so I almost passed - but now maybe it is essential. I figured it would just be for convenience (not needing to download the game - maybe having a few more options).
