Btw that game in the OP, Robot Alchemic Drive, is actually really good. Don't let Nanao's insanity and the bad voice acting fool you. Although those are two of its charms. I liked how during battle if you blow up Nanao's house enough times she'll commit suicide at the end of the game XD

It probably has the best sense of controlling a giant robot ever put into a game. It's made so the PS2 controller actually is the remote for the robot. One button for each leg, one for each arm, etc. It's really neat. Also if you ever watched old giant robot anime then the game is an homage to those old shows. The bad voice acting actually helps that. Reminds me of old dubs from the 80s.

That game is godlike and I have yet to play another like it. Everybody needs to try this game at least once.
On another note, this is what happens when I go to bed early? I need to do it more often.
My 2009 macbook (the silver one)'s trackpad thing (the one that is all one piece, not the trackpad with a seperate button) has all but completely stopped working. Any hints anyone?
Yeah, time to upgrade that Mac.
You just got Jobbed.
I figure there are more PC gamers in here than the OTT, so I'll ask here...
If I bought all that, what else would I need? I've got Win7, the kb/m, and I'm guessing all I would need was the case? I wouldn't need any wiring, since the items come with them, right? Andddddd I should be good with this for PC gaming, right? I'm not looking for OMG AMAZING SPECS, but I'd hope to have some of the more recent games run smooth. Thanks, doods.
Yeah, you'd need a case. And that PSU is 430 watts, which is adequate for now, but if you plan on upgrading that GPU with a power hog one down the line, you'll most likely need to upgrade that. Bot otherwise, all looks fine to me.
You'll be fine for gaming for now. Only thing is that the processor is a dual core, and quite a few games can use quad cores now. It's a Sandy Bridge, so it'll still have muscle.

Every time you go into battle there's a chance you can destroy Nanao's house and she'll cry/yell if you do. She then somehow rebuilds it in between every battle. Keep destroying it each time and she gets so depressed about it she kills herself. You might have to destroy her place of work as well. I know she yells at you if the bakery gets destroyed too.
I'll tell you why I don't like posts like that icebeast, and it has little to do with FFXIII. It's because your posts (and let's be honest, nearly all your posts) have no potential for a good discussion -- they usually lead to everyone telling you how out of touch you are, whether when you're comparing penis bulge to the female breast, or saying how new DLC characters for 3s Online wouldn't have any negative ramifications on the game's image (I rarely remember forum discussions unless they are this terrible).
This is simply another post that leaves me scratching my head, because what the hell is it?
"I think these characters in this game are annoying because blahblahblahblahblah" Which is all I read because based on how much thought you put into it, I don't see how anyone could take anything from it beyond "another random icebeast opinion who never thinks about things twice." A bunch of one phrase descriptions of characters. Do you expect people to respond? Or no? Because if you're just going to make posts that whine about shit, then you'll either:
A.) Get ignored
B.) Get called out
People rarely want to do option B because you drag your insane views on for the entire length of the damn thread.
You couldn't even understand my one line response to your post of blind venting (which is not game discussion). I said that the same logic applies to other FF casts. Example, you said Sazh is a guy that just says a witty line here or there, and expect people to respect that opinion -- when I could just walk into a discussion thread, after pages of perfectly fine arguments, and drop
Gee what great input. See how much respect I gave to this conversation? Oh wait, I'm just being a douche.
Now, the GGT is full of dumb posts and people just venting (love it, really), but you actually think you're onto something, which is why it's so mind numbing to read any topic you bring up. You belong on all those other gaming forums I left so I could talk with real human beings.
But I like FFXIII (actually I like Braid a whole lot more, but ihadFG isn't taking issue with that), so, this is really all about the validity of my opinions and not your inability to formulate anything constructive since you came to GGT with your music videos and soft porn.
You're putting a lot of thought into this.
Let me tell you a secret, if you think I'm 100% serious about every opinion I post about
you'd be very wrong. Do I usually agree towards a certain direction of said opinion, sure, but many times my posts amount to a great deal of satire and hyperbole.
You belong on all those other gaming forums I left so I could talk with real human beings.
Watch closely Panzer I'll show you:
You almost seem to be discriminating against me, and people like me. Way to be forward thinking.
I can tell you honestly hate me with a passion, and I'm sorry for being who I am. I might not have agreed with a bunch of your opinions (although I enjoyed Portal 2 as well), but I didn't take great offense at your posts, in fact you sometimes had interesting views on things (when you weren't defending FFXIII which seemed to happen too often), views that were critical, but that were interesting. I'm sorry your only feeling towards me is hatred and everything about me annoys you.
I actually think I'm going to finish Dragon Age Origins: Awakening next (and the other DA:O DLC), since I think I'm about a fourth of the way through Awakening and I haven't played it in a while and would like to finish it up. Once that's done then I'll move onto Persona 4.
Doesn't look as good as Sonic 2006.
That's a given, but honestly, the game doesn't look good at all to me. It looks like super basic platforming. And the framerate looks terrible or something.
Doesn't look as good as Sonic 2006.
At 2:12 in that video where it switches to 3D and Sonic flips out with his air dash and then slams into a wall because he was supposed to slide to get under it... that looks very much like Sonic 2006.
