GOG Deals Thread

I really wish GOG had a good way to tell what DLC you own for things. Maybe that's in the Galaxy client, but the webpage is not terrific for that side of things (as far as I can tell.)
Yeah, they don't make it easy on GOG. Sometimes I wish they sold a Complete Adventures Upgrade here on GOG or something, for those just to collect all of the DLC's for all of those owning the base-package only there.

And there's no easy way like on Steam, where they list the DLC's all on the same page and you can look add and/or add what you're missing easily.

If you got NWN: EE GOG key via say Amazon recently, you only got the base-package. You'd need ALL of the DLC's here in Deluxe Ed., if you want them all, in which Deluxe has them all plus the all of the OST's.

If you own NWN:EE on GOG - you could say save $ and just grab the 7 main DLC's and skip the soundtracks, to save $. A bit cheaper, if you don't care about the OST's.

This Deluxe Ed. is an easy way to get all of NWN: EE an its official content.

Plus, I forgot to mention - NWN: Diamond OG Edition (not-EE) comes w/ any purchase of NWN: EE on GOG too. That's good, in case some Older Edition mods don't work on EE, you got an older rig to run OG NWN Diamond on (much lower system req's), and/or for any other reasons you can think. A nice fail-sale here, to have both versions.

EDIT - I got it all on Steam already. That Steam-version works DRM-FREE - but this is so dirt-cheap on GOG. Gonna be a great buy for those missing NWN:EE Complete anyways and want download installers.

Apparently I'm just missing two soundtracks and two dlc's. The reviews aren't that great for the Moonsea one or Dark Furie. Sounds like a pass for me.

At least I'm enjoying BG3 so far. Its not perfect but it definately is nice to return to the sword coast.

FALLOUT 4: GOTY Edition = Now on GOG!

I just replayed Fallout 4 and 100%'d it. While it's a notable step down from New Vegas (especially if you don't care for settlement building), it's still a fun game. Many of its problems are fixed with mods, and $10 for the whole DRM-free package is a great deal. Definitely gonna double dip even though I have it on Steam

I'm assuming mods work the same on the GOG version as they do on Steam? None will be broken when trying to run the GOG version? (I use Nexus mods, not the in-game mod menu)

[From GOG:]
Mods should be compatible from the get-go, on par with the Steam version, but please keep in mind that we were not able to check every single one of them individually. The majority should work without issues though.
One of the gamers on GOG forums got it already and tested some mods on it. F4 GOG use the same-folders for Preferences on Steam there, unlike Skyrim GOG Edition - so that should help w/ mod compatibility on F4 GOG Edition, from what I'm reading.

Literally the only reason I visit GOG anymore is to claim giveaways. I don’t think I’ve bought anything there in like 4 or 5 years.

i think that goes for most. i find plenty of nice deals tho from time to time. love the drm free part, especially for rpgs and games w tons of replay value. got the yakuza collection for $10 when it first dropped too. def a get for pc imo.

Older games I still prefer to get on GOG. GOG sales STAGNATE horribly though. I've been waiting for Willy Beamish to go for about $2.50 or something, but it goes on sale for about $5 every sale it comes up on. Also some GOG games are only on their like some of the Star Trek games. Also not dealing with the Steam overlay for older games is a plus too. They really should try to discount better for some games that have been on their platform a while, and aren't offered elsewhere. Still love GOG, but I'll never buy newer stuff there, as I have Steam for that, and prefer my newer games on there.

Fahrenheit Remastered problems on GOG.

-> If you owned Fahrenheit this morning, you received also the Fahrenheit Remastered version in your account.

-> They (GOG) accidentally marked it for $9.99 in your Orders and E-Mail.

-> More info here - https://www.gog.com/forum/general/regarding_fahrenheit_indigo_prophecy_remastered_purchase_confirmation_mail

-> They sent an extra e-mail and apologized & are working on a fix for this.

-> You might lose the game for a short-time & then it winds up again later in your account again.

-> E-Mail said they are not charging you anything or this.

-> You might still want to check your Credit Card and Billing later anyways on it.

EDIT:

-> Okay, if should be showing up for Fahrenheit Remastered as $0.00 in your account now, if you received it free as a gift.

-> It's showing up in my account now this way as $0.00.
