Well I don't know anything about a PM. I certainly didn't get one. I just noticed that he asked for help getting a copy about an hour ago by posting in this thread.

Unfortunately, since it's been an hour already, somebody else might have helped him with it by now. I'd send him a PM and ask, but he doesn't appear to be online right now. I don't want just buy a copy without talking to him first because I don't want to risk getting stuck with that copy.

I ain't bought many retail-boxes products, since digital stores became a big-deal.

I'd say most of my purchases these days come from a digital store (Amazon DVG, HB, Groupees, Gamersgate, GOG, etc).

 
So memo to everyone here. There is apparently a time limit on how long you can wait to complete a purchase.

I managed to complete a purchase of Startopia on the first day an hour after the deal ended because I had a tab open at checkout. However, when I tried to complete a purchase this morning of System Shock 2 (twelve hours after that deal ended), the game didn't appear in my library even though the payment cleared. I just tried to buy Pantsattack a copy of Riddick (3 1/2 hours after that deal ended) and I had the same problem apparently. Payment went through, but I have no record of it on my "gifts" page.

I was able to get support to add the game (SS2) to my library after contacting them about it. And expect the gift copy to eventually arrive in Pantsattack's email. But unless you are willing to go through the hassle of going through support, don't wait too long after the deal ends to complete your purchase,

TL;DR version:

I told The End there was a time limit for orders, but The End went through with it anyway ;)
 
Dammit, Giana Sister for FREE went by TOO FAST.

Clicked when it said it had 9 left - got "error" screen and it was already freakin' gone. :(

I just want to take the chance to point out how ridiculously boring this sale has become. The first round was pretty good (sans missing every freebie... if they're even real), but this round is like watching a movie download on dialup.

I would tend to agree. Only reason I'm still sicking around is because I've let myself get talked into Space Colony HD and I'm waiting for that to show up. Once that repeats, my interest level will drop to the "I'll check in every once in a while to see what's going on" point.

Is there anything in particular that you're still looking for?
