Green Man Gaming (Steam) Deals: 25% Off Hitman

Capcom is a bit slower than average on the price drops, but they seem to be getting better about that.
I had Capcom in mind, but the recent RE/SF sales caused me to let them off the hook...for now. But, you're absolutely correct that they're typically the last ones out of the burning building when it comes to putting up sales.

I think I'm starting to get close to almost saying that I'm on the verge of having too many games.  I know it's not really true, but none of the sales in the last six months or so have really wowed me like the six months prior or the six months before that.  Not just GMG, but all sales.  I'm either going to have to go on some spiritual retreat to recenter myself or start playing moar games.

Or, I could just post shitty things in internet forumz for da lulz.  Decisions, decisions...

I've been been underwhelmed my GMG lately... my last purchase was MK9 just after New Year's, over six weeks ago.
I agree: their sales have been very disappointing since the end of their Christmas sale. The last thing I bought from them was A:CM Stasis DLC on the 5th of Jan.

You know you have too many games when you buy Hippo Love Simulators because it's the only thing on sale you don't have and you need a deal fix.

I already bought it for $12. Why would anyone pay $60?
People who have a wretched case of Consolitis may suffer symptoms such as "paying 60 dollars for a game, even one which is guaranteed to drop in price during sales by 80 percent within several months"

aj spank you too hard why u baad boy

I havent used GMG that much lately either. Now they announced GBP for $ pricing, a lot of my UK friends stopped using them too. Their deals have been very lackluster as of late. I got an "exclusive" 10$ off titanfall for me and 5 friends, that was a joke.

Hopefully they are going to get it sorted out, but with announcing that they are doing away with % coupons and only offering $ off doesnt sound promising.

Calling it now: Thief will be $15 or less by Summer sales.
it'll be free at the bottom of a cracker jacks' box by then.

Square Sales Rule

-6 months- 0 months = 100% off

1 month = 0-25%

2 months = 25-50%

3 months = 50-66%

4 months = 50-75%

5 months = 66-75%

:p

Post more shitty things, that's what I'm gonna do. guess I'll start putting the money I would've spent on great deals towards my moonshine collection.

Is that code for anything on GMG or just in conjunction with the Europa titles? It doesn't seem to work on Titanfall.
The code I included worked on most things, but excluded select titles (probably pre-orders like Thief and Titanfall).

But thanks for reminding me, I did a quick check and the code has expired even though it's still on GMG's front page.

Got extended to the 28th.

GMG does have an exclusive $7 off coupon code for Titanfall that was emailed today to those who signed up for their newsletter. I think it is account specific, so check your email if you receive their spam newsletters.

I have the $7 off Titanfall code, I missed out on the %25 off that expired on 14 Feb, such regret! I'm debating pulling the trigger on the $7 off Titanfall there cuz I can't find anything better at the moment, I want to hold out but I doubt anything will come up.

Entering my account info in the form gives me a "Username already taken" error from Playfire. Anyone else have this issue? Do I need to make a new (fake) account and link it to get the game?
I needed to. Because steam account is linked to 'another' playfire account.

But that error is misleading: it can mean wrong email or password too.

Anybody having problems using the voucher for pre orders? The op says it can be used on South Park the Stick of Truth, but when I check out and try to apply the voucher I get a message saying "unable to add voucher".

That voucher's expired. This is the current one:

(Edited - this is the correct 25% off voucher. This apparently doesn't work for the US.)

Anyone else pre-order Resident Evil 4 and receive a Steam Key that comes up as Invalid from GMG?  I e-mailed their support team but they haven't gotten back to me at all.  Just curious if others are having the same issue since the game doesn't officially come out for another 3 hours or something like that.

I could tell you, but that's like a total spoiler for the thread one page back.

I got my keys and they worked.

When did you send the email? Remember that they're in Europe so it's night / early morning over there.

As side effect my name on playfire is (for now? dunno) 152af45afc6b51085538e84f66973 :D.

Hoping it works now automatically.

Time to break out SAM and do some re-locking and unlocking stuff. Why do you make me do this GMG?! Just scan my damn previous achievements so I don't have to feel so slimey.

Does that actually work? I'd think they don't remove achievements from playfire, only for you to readd and get credit.

I think he means clearing cheevs he's already unlocked and then recheeving them, so that Playfire will give him credit because they are lame and won't give rewards for work already done.

It worked last time, yes. It's hard to say if it's still working because it takes them 9 damn months to add my credits. I can absolutely confirm when the playfire rewards first started I used SAM to lock a few achievements I had already earned. I then immediately unlocked them back again and I got credit for it. I can't say that they haven't fixed this now though.

I've had a bunch of games that it didn't give me reward credit for, and their support still hasn't responded to my ticket for around six weeks.

It seems, at least for me, that the playfire beta doesnt register them for at least a day or 2. I.e. thief first time play just showed up for me today in the client

Same here... ever since the first of the year I've apparently earned some reward credits, some rewards never show up in playfire that I should have earned, and I've never received any credits in my GMG account. I know we're not alone, but it's frustrating and I keep getting the runaround with the support staff. I'm not expecting to ever see any of it in reality. Oh well. :whee:

Ever since this Playfire Rewards beta program went up I haven't bought anything from GMG either. The lack of good deals is disheartening to be honest. So I'm not sure if I'd even be spending my rewards credits if I had them.
