Thanks. I picked up Hulk and Viva Pinata: Party Animals (both for 360) for $5 and Fracture (PS3) for $10.

Thanks scourdx

Picked up :
PSP
Lumines II $4.96
Patapon 2 $9.96

DS
Hotel Dusk $4.96

PS2
Sly 3 $4.96

I also saw Gitraoo Man Lives for $9.96. I have never heard of it. Anyone played it?

Sure I've heard of Gitaroo Man. It's a rhythm game from before rhythm games were in fad. The original PS2 version used to fetch $100+ on eBay due to rarity (not sure if it still does). I don't think the PSP port is rare, but if you feel like playing a crazy Japanese rhythm game, go for it.

damn, sold out of Hotel dusk. been looking for this game, where is everybody finding it?

just finished Ace attorney 2,3 4 and broken sword. i love point and click games.... ( took around 3-4 days with each game cept BS)

im ganna go check more soucees i guess...

EB has been selling it for 19.99 for years now, that's the price I bought it for and I think it's worth that much. It's a great deal at 10 bucks. Go for it, good japanese rhythm game.

My wife loves this game. It's made by the same guys who did Elite Beat Agent and iirc Lips for 360. It's their earlier game (it's actually a PS2 port) but rhythm fans still should check it out.

Searched and couldn't find anything about it, but I picked up Heavenly Sword for $35 today at The Source in my new home of Montreal. Been waiting for a decent price on this one for a while... can't believe the game is still $55 USED at EB and it's a 2 year old, pretty averagely reviewed game!
put the last copy of Hotel Dusk on hold for me at centerpoint mall :)

finally, i get this play this awesome game. :)
You lucky S.O.B. I just went there to go buy-it when they told me it was put on hold.

oh...... really sorry, i'll make sure i'll play it really well :)

I'm sorry to inform all the Guelphites but the best game available at the Source has been taken, Puppy Luv for the Wii :p. I still can't believe this is $13 in trade in value.

Also picked up The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor DS for $9.96 each.

All worked for T3G1F. I used a HMV Logans Shadow for the third game, there's still a copy of The Mummy and logans shaw left so get them before they are gone.

Really? I bought Gitaroo Man used at EB for 2.96$ about a year ago...
Do they ever restock???
Well, not if it's clearance games, right? That's why it's so cheap after all.

I forgot to specify, it was new. I have yet to find a used copy of that game, or another new one, for that matter!

Was Puppy Luv removed from the site...?
I cant seem to find it, if anyone has the link...

NVM I managed to find the old link, yay!

Beautiful Katamari FINALLY dropped to $9.96!!! I picked up a copy from Hudson Bay Center today, they have one left still.

Yeah, it was 10 bucks when I bought mine about ... over a week ago (bought batteries for the car hold remote as well). It's not Walmart's 1$ in the bargain bin, but not many are that lucky. :p

I cracked and bought Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time for $14.96, even. I missed out when EB had it for $15. I was going to try and wait out until it hit $9.96, but surpringly stock is really low for both versions in Toronto so I didn't want to take the risk.

Hudson Bay Center and Yonge Eglinton Center should both have one copy of Explorers of Darkness for anyone who cares.

looks like scene it box office smash has hit the $20 mark pick shows the bundle but description does not mention the 4 controllers

It was also selling for 12$ on Amazon not too long ago.
Is this a good game I should consider? Im not a fan of Pokemon at all.

I think I remember when it was on sale at Amazon, but at the time I didn't have any other items I wanted to make the order over $39 so shipping would have ruined the deal for me.

I haven't played it yet, but all I know is that it's a dungeon crawler...a genre I don't like too much with the exception of some really great games (P3:FES/P4, etc). But because I'm a huge Pokemon fan I bought the games, and know I would enjoy them. Since you're not a fan though, I doubt they would do much, if anything for you. Reviews for the Mystery Dungeon series aren't the greatest, so take that into consideration as well.

It's not really a dungeon crawler, it's a roguelike. Although that definition does include crawling through endless dungeons

Some other recent roguelikes you may have played (though not likely, Pokemon is a genre entry point) include Izuna, Baroque and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon.

My full impressions for the game goes as follows:

They're elementary rogue-likes or to be more precise, Chunsoft's (the developer) Shiren the Wanderer (which btw, is 10 bucks at Walmart if you can find a copy). The story is pretty much throwaway with poor usage of the silent protagonist (your lead character doesn't say anything out loud but you read what they're thinking, which imo defeats the purpose of the silent protagonist).

Like all Shiren games, the dungeons are randomly generated and no two dungeons are the same (the meat and potatoes). However, dungeons can be small and the variations between two dungeons can end up being too similar if you play the game long enough.

The game, unlike Shiren games, is very forgiving not only because you retain your levels, gear and items after you die, but also you can have up to three partners with you which are controlled by AI (with only a few small settings to adjust the AI). You can either have them follow you, thus making your lead monster that much stronger or they can go on their own and start tearing other monsters apart (or another possibility, have themselves torn apart). You can also give direct commands to your allies but it's only on an individual move basis and if they're within view.

All the moves in the game are the same as the mainline games except you can throw stuff, like in Shiren games. Most move effects differ in the game compared to the mainline games where moves that should have a field effect will probably have one (like Earthquake will effect all monsters around the user, Dig only works on dirt while Dive only works on water, etc). All monsters are as customisable as the mainline games, sans breeding but since the game is not designed to be competitive, there's little point.

And while it's a dungeon crawler like Persona 3 or 4, they're not really comparable in that sense. P3/4 eventually has an end to the giant dungeon where PMD after you beat the main game, you have the entire catalogue of mainline monsters to collect as well as more dungeons to unlock (many from trading codes from the other version of the game) and 100 floor dungeons as well as specialised dungeons (like dungeon/s where you're forced to start at level 1 and without any items or allies).

I don't remember which post mentioned it (it surely wasn't this one!), but the PS3 Singstar bundle was on clearance for $20. There's still one left (right at the display) at the Pickering Town Centre location as of 11:08am today.

If it ever sells out, don't worry, people. The game, by itself, is 10 bucks and a pair of mics is also 10 bucks.

I don't know, this sale just isn't doing it for me. It feels like all of these deals are too late, I've seen them before. Most of them aren't even that good...

This is not a sale, it's a clearance. They're getting rid of old games.
Of course you've seen these before, don't be silly!

Half the games I got this year were from The Source, the prices drop a lot lower than any sale if you wait (and risk it going OoS for that matter). Especially when these games hit the mythical $0.96! Got a few at that price.
I'm ready to slap you across the face if you say these prices suck again! The Source's clearance is great(and terrible) for my wallet.

Wow, that is crazy! Do you have any examples of games for $0.96?

The cheapest game I ever got was Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA) for $2. They had a bin at Toys R Us and someone dropped it in there, so I got it for $2!

I remember a few months back Turning Point: Fall of Liberty was being sold for $0.96 at The Source, but most people got-it when it dropped to $5 anyway, so there wasn't many copies left in stores.

For that price, I think I would just buy the game as a shelf filler or for the extra case if something had happened to one of my other cases.

What I find funny is that $0.96 is technically cheaper than the Dual Layer disc the game is printed on.
in for 0.96 pikmin :)
wait, what? I'm not seeing 0.96$ for Pikmin. Was this earlier?

I wish the PS3 version of DMC4 was on sale too.

unfortunately no, it was wishful thinking.

Nothing too fantastic, but they've added some new items since the last pre-holiday clearance. You may be able to find something for a decent price.
Should keep an eye on this as to what happens to TS:CC, as if no one buys there's bound to be more deals.
EDIT: Finally the deals are coming..
OMG these are such horrible deals maybe found 4 good deals throughout the whole things, thnx for the share anyways :D

Nooooo!

Seriously though, super boring game, and there are so many better RPG's out there. It's not that long, but nearly everyone I know loses interest around the third disc.
