Rolling my eyes heavily that Gavin Rossdale (estimated networth of $35 mil, and married to someone with $85 mil) is doing a kickstarter and got someone to pledge $2,000 for him to write out song lyrics on a random piece of paper.

OK, so I sell a game on eBay, steelbook case. I think a guy bought it cause his kid asked him to, got the package today, guy inform s me he "did not receive the steel item". I tried to explain he did.

Hope I don't get negative feedback for this.

I miss the days when I had a landline and internet. I moved 2.5 weeks ago and AT&T keeps delaying service to the area. I'm now using the library's internet to check in until I'm up and running (which supposedly will be this Tuesday).

 
I found a 1mo Xbox LIVE insert code in a Gears of War PC game I bought dirt cheap at a thrift store, but it just ran out.  :'(

Any good LIVE deals out there?  I need to play more WSOP. :cool:

Also, I challenge anyone to Heads Up Texas Holdem when I get LIVE back. :cool:

I get to gamey game game again in a month. Can't wait. fucking pool season needs to end. These 80 hour weeks suck.

You know, I haven't come to expect a lot from Florida football after this past year, but I was really hoping the one day I worked all morning and had the evening off I could watch the evening game and now it's about to get rained out.  Why.  ;-;

I wish but no. That's probably more likely to happen at a residential pool. One dude came across people fucking a couple years ago. My boss saw topless girls at a pool a while back too.

I'm lucky if I see one hot girl a day.

Today I discovered that liquor stores close at some time that is before 9PM on Sundays here... I don't know how I didn't find this out before now, but it's a real bummer.

You live in the south and its a Sunday. Its a miracle that you can even buy liquor at any point in the day.

Sometimes, I wish one of those scenarios would play out with Mrs. Number83.  Unfortunately, the only scenario so far that has played out is when I was done powerwashing the Hot Tub, I was told to do the back of the house.

...now that I think about it, maybe that was "code" for something else...

As a native of south Florida, which is decidedly less South than north FL where I am now, I really didn't know. I know we can't sell liquor (any alcohol actually) before like 2 PM on Sundays, but I didn't know there was an earlier ending time as well. D:

Thanks man, don't know how I missed this. Getting my degree in information systems & ops management. Totally switched tracks from my lib arts undergrad, but I happened to be at a university with a pretty good business school and I was able to get in, so I'm hoping with some elbow grease I should be able to forge a career. :lol:

fyi if you see a "Like New" game on ebay, assume the the disc was used as a frisbee unless the seller actually types that the disc is like new in the description. Liars making me pay shipping to return their lies.

Does anyone know anything about programming? Java in particular. I'm taking an intro course so even the most rudimentary knowledge would probably be helpful.
 
Ugh, playing a new game on my phone called Pirate Bash.  It's one of those "free" games that you don't technically have to pay for, but to get anywhere in the game within a reasonable time frame you need to pay for gold coins, which are somewhat of a rarity.

Never downloaded one of these before.  I really want to get past these next levels, but I need gold to level up some weapons.  I can either play more many hours hoping to get gold coins in the next few days, or just quit.  And I'm cheap, so most likely I'll abandon the game in a few days.
