I had to ask a friend of mine if he was interested in it and I was busy most of the week and he is even more busy so it kept slipping my mind when he was around.

I am not blaming Sony or myself for it, I just think the timing of my decision was at the perfectly wrong time.

Not true at all.

Explain to me why Rock of Ages was free the day it came out for PS+? Or why other games are on sale for PS+ the day it comes out??

Sales also help to create word of mouth. Someone buys it for $5, because it's $5. They love it, price goes back to $10, and they tell 10 of their friends. Five of them buy it for $50 total who otherwise would not have bought it. So for a $5 loss they just got another $50.

Probably old news but The Journey Demo is up now too. Great for people who like to try things out first before purchasing them, no matter how highly rated they are.

Ya that was for everyone. I even got it, even though I'm sure I'll never get a Vita. I'm not exactly sure why there is so much complaining about the Vita. Seems like they have a decent amount of games considering it launched just a few months ago. And if they're looking for discounts, they just need to take a chill pill. Like I said, it's been out for all of 3 MONTHS!

I understand the frustrations with Minis and PSOne Classics not all working, but I'm sure that will be ironed out eventually.

Yeah I'm gonna grab the demo for sure tonight, I'm excited to check it out. I don't buy anything full price no matter how great the ratings are because of my backlog, but I'm hoping the demo at least gives me a chance to see what the game is all about. :)

I liked it. It's similar to Journey in that you play through it in one short session without much trouble.

It means that the expiration date is unknown, but that it will expire. I just checked the Last Chance section of the PS+ section and it'll end next week.

Wish I knew, hopefully Spelunker HD! Others I've had my eye on for quite a while include
Aqua Panic, Crescent Pale Mist, Echochrome games, Lemmings, Savage Moon, and Slam Bolt Scrappers.
 
Spelunker HD may not be likely since Irem was shut down last September. Luckily for us, they signed publishing deals for all of their games in North America, so we can at least still buy the games.
 
i wish journey was on sale. I heard high praise and great reviews but i need a sale to justify adding it to my backlog.

also for those of you looking to get flow/dlc and are into trophies, be sure to read up on it before you even start/download them cuz there is some glitches(good and bad) that will effect whether you can even get 100% or not. peace

ok i added flOw bundle to my backlog. another game I won't be able to get to till after im dead. thanks to PS+ and gamefly sales I am getting pummeled by games to complete.
 
I got way too excited when I saw the Thatgamecompany sale, I even did the math 75% of Journey while I was waiting for the store to load, oh well. I guess I'll get Flower at that price, not sure about FLow.

Might be a stupid question, but is the PS3 version of flOw the same one that was available for free a couple of years ago? I remember getting it for free and it is installed on my HDD, but it's not listed as previously purchased for me nor is it listed in my previously downloaded list
 
I found it funny I seen an add for free Rock of Ages for PS+ Subscribers but when I go click on the banner, it isn't there. You have to manually search the store :lol:.

I own Rock of Ages on Steam but can't say no to PSN Trohpies, lol.

That was a special entry just for that giveaway, so you'll lose it if you delete it.

It just took me to the New Releases page on the PS+ section when I tried it and it's one of the items on there.
