And now I FINALLY own Virtua Tennis. Not missing this game on sale again.

Now I just need to find 30$ more worth of stuff to get, so I can have 150$ spent total.

That Square Enix deal sucks all dlc and what's the reg price for sleeping dogs and why isn't darksiders 2 UTE or bundle on sale too and not just the reg
PixelJunk Monsters is the best game on PSN.
I loved PixelJunk Monsters with couch co-op, but honestly after playing co-op I could never go back to solo... it just seemed so slow and boring without someone to shout at or devise new strategies with. Still one of my most played PSN games though (probably next to Everyday Shooter).
Anyone recommend guardian of light dlc, specifically is anyone of them better than the others?
The best DLC for that game is easily the free Kane & Lynch DLC that makes those two the main characters of the game, which makes for an amazing intro level to that game.

The digital version of Sleeping Dogs that is on sale includes three of the DLC packs with it, so make sure you don't buy these packs if you get it:
The Retro Triad Pack - Go old school with a killer look and ride straight out of the 80s! New hair, accessories, clothes and boots are combined with an iconic kung fu van. Everyone will know you are big trouble on the streets of Hong Kong.

The Red Envelope Pack - For fortune and prosperity, 20 envelopes stuffed with cash are scattered throughout Hong Kong, find them all and you'll net a cool 1 Million HK dollars.

The Street Racer Pack - Burn rubber in four wheels, tear up the streets on two tires, and even rip through the water in your speedboat.

Ah good to know. I think I'm about to bite on that sale and something else to get me to that $50 mark. Thanks.

Just got an email about The Walking Dead being on sale starting next week:

PSN - SCEA (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina)
Monday, April 1st - Tuesday, April 16th
Episode 1: FREE for all users (regular and Plus users)
Episodes 2-5: $3.99 each for regular users, $2.99 for PSN Plus users
Season Pass: $14.99 for regular users, $10.49 for PSN Plus users
I'm going to take a guess that they meant next Tuesday, not Monday.
How was the add on pack for Hot Shots golf? worth getting at this price?
I picked it up last week. I have only played one of the new courses.

Ive used Gloria most. Spent my lunch break today playing with Kat, liking her a lot. Bummer she only has one outfit though.

I would recommend it if you dig this game. Especialy if you dont have many characters unlocked. This is my go to game most of the time on Vita.

Oh god forgot about the capcom stuff. Thought this updates on Wed for some reason! Damnit, how often do they go on sale? :/ the puzzle world and collections were awesome..

Every few months, so it'll probably be on sale again this summer.

Got an E-mail from NIS America that Disgaea 3 will be free on PSN+ until April 30th. So be sure to pick it up before then if interested.

I'm tempted... but was hoping it went for $10 :/
Watched a review and Disaega looks complicated as hell... Guess there's no foul in trying it since it's free.
Disgaea is actually very very very simple, but it takes some time to master. A lot (and I mean like 70%) of the depth can be ignored if you just want to play the story. Most of the depth is for killing super bosses, getting the best gear and things of that nature. I don't think you can platinum it without mastering this stuff (PS3 version anyway), but you can definately get 50+ hours without getting into complex things.

Totally agree. I have only used the characters, haven't played the courses yet (still working on a few more crowns first), but I love HSG and the DLC is great so far.

Yep. I had it on PS3 and had a great time with it, and I barely did anything post-story mode.
That's what makes Disgaea so special. It's extremely accessible while maintaining a crapload of depth for those interested
Agreed! It's as deep as you want it to be. I beat Disgaea 1 and 2 without ever going to an item world of my own accord, barely passing any bills, completely ignoring the felony system (Disgaea 2), and sticking with the more basic classes. It took me about 40 hours per game to finish. But if you decide to get into all of the more optional features, it can easily take you hundreds of hours to finish all the content. It's completely up to you.

I'm convinced to get Disgaea 3, I mean I should.. it's free. But should I just play it for the ps3 if I have the ps3 copy? The only thing that's bothering me is that I have the trophy list for D3 (ps3) on my trophies (but at 0%). So, if I were to play the vita version, there would be a separate trophy list for that, right? It's something so small, but if the games are the same, I may just play the ps3 version.

Also, which should I get:
Just Cause 2 (digital) for that $8.99
-- or
Just Cause 2 (hardcopy) for $15

I like having hardcopy but is it worth the extra bucks?

I hit $53 or something like that for the first $10, but this new sale has me wondering if I can hit another $50. I'm debating Pixeljunk Sidescroller, the Sega Fighters pack, the Deus Ex DLC, and maybe Toe Jam and Earl and Pixeljunk Shooter 1/2. So close...

The pixeljunk games are really fun and worth the money. As for the Sega Fighters, imo they are all terrible. The only reason to get them is if you want quick and easy trophies (The Sonic Fighters game took me around 9 minutes to 100%).

I'm probably going to hit up the missing link dlc since the game was really fun and I heard the dlc is good too.
Virtua Tennis 4 to put me just over $150. Great month for vita owners. Now if only a 64
gb memory card will come out...
Seriously, I'd probably buy it too. I can't believe how easy it was to fill up 32GB, and these huge ass game updates don't help (Namely PSABR). Still managed to fit like 26 Vita games and 12 PSP games.

Agreed. I really hate those 0% trophies cluttering things up. Wish there was a way to hide them.

However, the Vita version includes all of the DLC. So unless you bought it all for PS3, the Vita's the version to play.

So, I haven't played Disgaea since July and I've forgotten many of the mechanics. Fortunately, I'm not too far in yet, but I did have a question: when it says that an enemy is minus XX% for one of the three elements (ice, wind, fire), does that refer to a resistance or weakness?

Below 0% means weakness, above means strength. Also not to overwhelm you or anything, but if your planning on playing late/post game, it might be worth it to learn more about the Innocent/Item World mechanics. They are pretty necessary late game and can save you lots of time in grinding

Damn I wish I hadn't already played through Graces F just so I could experience it for the first time again. Really loved the game and at that price it would be a no brainer.

As for getting to $50 I'm still 25$ away, snagging Virtua Tennis 4 would get me close, but I'm still holding out for a physical copy for around $20. ughh missed the best buy 10 and probably going to miss this one as well, not being a very good CAG this month!

Tell me of this Pure Chess demo...

EDIT: Forget it. I just read that the online portion sucks. How many years since the PS3 came out, and still no decent chess games? The PS HOME is literally the 'best' chess game they've come out with. Sad.

And the people who are typically playing PS HOME chess aren't the brightest stars in the sky, or the ones that are half-decent rage quit.

I'm looking for opinions on how I should spend 18ish dollars to get to $100 spent in the promotional period.

What should I purchase when choosing from de Blob 2, the Red Faction games, and the Deus Ex DLC?

Get Red Faction + deus dlc + avatar if short.

I'm holding out for the Vita version recently announced. That seems like a great fit for Vita.

The online portion of Pure Chess sucking is debatable. I actually quite like it. A buddy of mine moved away awhile back, and we keep in regular contact by playing this. We both work and are pretty busy, so actually sitting down and playing a live game of chess online isn't really feasible. But playing a game over a week or two is great (for me). There is also a decent amount of single player content on there. I was happy with my purchase, especially since it is a sub $10 game (not too many of those are released on PSN outside of minis).

Looks like a lot of good DLC to help put people over the top if they need it. Might pick up some of the Just Cause 2 DLC, since I haven't gotten to it yet.

Just want to throw in additional support for PixelJunk Monsters. It is definitely the best local co-op experience I have ever had. My wife and I became consumed by it. Single player is also fun, but like someone mentioned earlier, I couldn't go back to it after playing co-op.

On another note, when is there going to be a sequel????

I still have about $7.50 to spent to get to $50. I'm thinking of comboing any two of the following 4 games:

EscapeVecktor
Rocketbirds Vita
Sunflowers
Bentley's Hackpack

Anyone have any input on EscapeVektor, Sunflowers, or Bentley's Hackpack? (I know Bentley has a demo, I'll be checking it out tonight).

SunFlowers is one of those nice puzzle games that you can zone out with for a half hour or so.

I did a video on Bentley's Hackpack a while ago, which is a pretty good extension of the hacking minigames in the new Sly Cooper game. It has a lot more content than I was expecting with about 24 levels for each of the three minigames and at least one extra game for getting all or most of the goals for every level. It's also a Cross Buy title.

How can online chess suck?

And funny you bring up PS HOME chess, I sat on that for a few hours one day and you're right lol
