Damn, cant access the store from my ipad or iPhone. it doesn't support chrome or safari mobile I guess. Hopefully this is updated soon. It'd be nice to buy stuff if I was away from home.

Webstore would be really cool if it actually fucking worked in Linux. Either Sony has become convinced Linux = hackers, or they're even lazier than I thought.
Updated the OP with links.
Thanks, Frisky, for all your work for the community here - it's much appreciated.

Thanks for the update. Was wondering when this would finally happen! :bouncy: Man, sony's ineptness at the simple stuff is baffling at times considering how sophisticated their hardware is. Wonder how big of an increase in sales they'll see. Now we just await the ability to remotely queue downloads, but I'm happy just to have this.

webstore = terrific

I bought Warp and Jak using it just because it was so easy. Good thing it doesn't work on my phone or I'd probably find it hard to maintain a balance on my account.

Finally a web store! Going to give it a shot with one of my 13 for 13 purchases this weekend. Anyone care to comment on Machanarium speaking of which? No demo for me to test drive it. Will look up reviews probably this weekend when I go to make my purchases.

It was alright. For $2.50 it is definitely worth it if you like/enjoy point and click adventures as it is a solid one.

Even better use the link that frisky posted and play the demo.

I bought Hot Shots Golf Complete and Little Big Planet Karting. I think I'm going to pass on Psychonauts and maybe pick that up for Xbox at some point since apparently it's better on there. I have the demo of Unfinished Swan, so I'll try that to see if I want to buy it.

I love that the webstore is up. I hope the mobile version will be up soon though, I'd love to be able to browse and purchase from my phone!

This is a historic day, now I can buy whatever I fancy from the comfort of my lazy butt.

When remote automatic downloads are enabled later I will have absolute power!!
I don't suppose that the web store allows purchasing of the free mobile titles for Vita? I'm on my tablet and can't access the store.
Its not on the web store.

Blogcast is out. Cubixx is gonna be the free game on PlayStation Moblie next week.

Sales on Gatling Gears, Greed Corp, Section 8, Section 8 Prejudice, and Madden 13. I think they said $5 each for Gatling Gears and Greed Corp for PS+, and $10 each for Section 8 and Prejudice.

I'm loving the new online store and it was a long time coming. Nice job, Sony. Unfortunately, I'm having massive problems getting my PS3 version of Foosball. Is anyone else experiencing this? Sorry if I missed it in the thread somewhere.

I got my Vita version just fine but for PS3 the console says the game isn't available for purchase when I try to add it to my cart and the web store says I'm not eligible to purchase it?

Underneath the "add to cart" icon it says the demo is in my download list? What the heck? Does anyone know a fix for this? It's going on two days of not being able to get this darn thing and I'm afraid of forgetting to try it again before they delist it for Plus.

While I like the visual design of the new console store I just can't stand the delays and clunkiness of it all. I'll definitely stick to the web store and I'm glad to have it!

It's a Cross Buy game, so you already got the PS3 version when you grabbed the Vita version. You should have the unlock code for the PS3 version in your download list, so grab the demo and download the unlock code to get the game.

Hey look at that! A GTA game that's not marked up crazy high. It's still my favorite. And I hope that Vita fishing game comes with a PS+ release discount cause I could see that being almost impossible to resist at $10.

Picking up Greed Corps, hitman Trilogy, Zone of enders, and possibly sleeping dogs.

Frisky do you know if Sleeping Dogs DLC is a storyline or just clothing packs?

None of the paid Sleeping Dogs DLC is worth it.
None of the paid Sleeping Dogs DLC is worth it.
I played both of the previous ones and they were just alright but gum dangit I loved the game. I really loved how they focused on hand to hand combat and Hong Kong area. I read about the new DLC and it looks to be less interesting than the others.

Even better, now we can spend that extra time together sassy mama!

Holy shit, I just realized something. Didn't the iOS port of Vice City have issues with the soundtrack? I hope that isn't the case with the PSN release. That soundtrack is crucial to that game!
How much is Hitman Trilogy gonna be? Is it straight up msrp on that?

Other than that, VICE CITY BABY WHOO!!
Very likely. They always match MSRP. Ni No Kuni was the one time I've ever seen a game released below MSRP.

Definitely. I guess you never played Silent Assassin because that game was damn good when I played it on the PS2.

I've only played Blood Money, and friggin LOOOOOOOVVVVED it. I guess I'll pick it up at some point then!

I just got on the webstore for the first time.

Just curious.. If I logged in the webstore, will my psn friends who are online on ps3 will see me as online too?

Apparently the following songs weren't in the iOS 10th Anniversary version:

Kate Bush - "Wow"
Michael Jackson - "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'"
Michael Jackson - "Billie Jean"
Lionel Richie - "Running with the Night"
Ozzy Osbourne - "Bark at the Moon"
Herbie Hancock - "Rockit"

I knew the Michael Jackson ones were removed, but didn't know about the other ones.

Considering 99% of people will use Mac OS or Windows, I really don't think they are worried about Linux

Dude, you're acting as if this was as bad as that upcoming Wii U sale. Quit being such a negative Nancy.

Love that new websotre, makes purchasing my PS + games a breeze. Good job Sony.

Hope that Cubixx game is not just the Mini title, but otherwise it looks pretty cool.

The PSN version got good reviews including an 8/10 on Eurogamer.

The online store is great. I already "purchased" the rest of the PS+ games. They're in my purchase history for download later. Actually it's a little wonky. It seemed to let me "buy" the Vita games, but then I wasn't sure I'd gotten them all, so I tried the ones I thought I'd missed and then it said I couldn't purchase them. Is that it's way of saying that I already purchased them, or is there some reason I can't purchase them (I should note that I don't yet have a Vita - I'm getting them in case I ever do).

Also I'm kind of glad it doesn't automatically download the games once I log into the PS3, because I don't want to download them right now. However when buying a game I do want to play right away, well then I'd change my tune. :)

Greed Corp and Gatling Gears are both awesome games (check out some reviews) for those wondering. That said, it feels kind of weird to pay $5 for them considering the deals from this week.

Greed corp was at 2.50$ some months ago, not sure about Gatling Gears I don't know why they are not doing 2.50$ again for PS+, maybe they will again

So glad there is a web store now. It will cut out the need to turn on my playstation just to get the plus games and what not. I'm thinking in the long run I'll end up spending more too.

Only browsed it for a couple minutes and aded a PS+ game to my account but I think I really really like the web store. Simple and quick. Much better than the store on the Playstation.

As I understand it, the only game which really had issues was the first Hitman game (the only one I haven't played).

Hitman: Contracts is just that, flashbacks of various missions of Agent 47, about half of which are remakes from the first Hitman game and the other half are new, as such you don't miss that much not having the first game in this collection. Contracts also features probably my favorite level in all three of those Hitman games, Traditions of the Trade which is set in a hotel. It features so many different options to complete your mission that it is a joy to play over and over and I would buy it immediately if it ever came back to Steam.

Hitman: Blood Money has a greater volume of quality missions than Contracts with a few standouts and has a better narrative focus than the slightly jumbled Contracts, but none of the missions meet the high mark set by Traditions of the Trade (though a few come close).

Hitman 2 has a few great missions, but as it is earlier in the franchise the quality is more inconsistent with fewer options to complete your mission. It could also be less memorable because it has probably been 9 or 10 years since I last played it.

If you don't want to get all of them, I would probably get Blood Money, Contracts, and/or Hitman 2; in that order.
