What are you trying to download and install and where are you download it from?

There's the game itself and this demo, so note that they are different sizes and you might need both or one of the other. Have you tried one or both of them? Are you queueing the download from the webstore or the PS Store directly on the Vita? It might be a good idea to pay special attention to what you're downloading and trying to install.
I've pretty much given up. I tried downloading the demo and unlock, but the unlock doesn't work until the demo is installed, but the error occurs when the demo installs. It doesn't matter if it is downloaded from the store from my vita, pc, or transferred from the PS3. The same error always occurs. I tried using different memory cards also in case there was a problem with those.
I also tried deleting Zen Pinball 2, then installing ZP2 on the PS3 first as some articles mentioned. Now, the Star Wars standalone works fine on my PS3, it just isn't the console I wants to play it on.
I think I am pretty much out of luck on this one. The articles mentioned before refer to it Bing something wrong with the actual download file off of the store, but it doesn't get fixed since it doesn't affect everyone. So, I'm SOL.
I've come to the conclusion that if I got a game through Plus, I shouldn't try to buy it later. That's the only thing I can think of that would possibly have had this happen. Just unlucky.

Galak-Z's The Void DLC has been shown off:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6zIq-AMnPo

It's $9.99 for an endless roguelite-style mode, daily challenge mode, and an easier checkpoint-style mode.

Looks like the Void is a free update on the PC. Is it really a $10 expansion on the PS4? I realize most of us here probably got it as part of PS+, but still, it doesn't seem to be a big enough update to warrant a $10 price, especially as the PS4 version already has the easier checkpoint mode. I also didn't realize that the game itself is $20 on PSN and $10 on steam.

Their twitter says it's $10:

Maybe it's referencing the new $9.99 price on Steam that might be permanent? Their blog, twitter, and Steam page don't explain any specifics on it.

On second thought, maybe it is free. This post on their Facebook implies the DLC is free and you can buy the whole package for $9.99:

GALAK-Z : The Void DLC is live!! Online Leaderboards, Daily Challenge, Endless Gameplay .. Download this free DLC from Steam and play it now! Don't have it? Go grab it for $10.

Still annoyed that they are wasting resources on this instead of getting season 5 out faster.

What is everybody's opinions on Destiny? I noticed that they have Destiny with all of the expansions and DLC for less than $40 if you are a plus member, until the 10th. And, tomorrow Target is having buy one get one 10% off gaming cards. Just wondering if picking this up for around $36 would be a good deal. PSN says that it normally retails for $100, but I know nothing about the game, except that it's a spiritual successor to HALO.

I've gotten 100s of hours out of it. With all of the updates its a good game and in just single player campaign you will get roughly 20 to 30 hours of gaming before you start jamming strike playlists etc.

The ADS gun play, normal gunplay are super solid, and Bungie is always tweaking the guns, much to the lamentation of a lot of the community but it is still good.

Finally, they designed their competitive MP to bring everyone to a similar play level. The regular crucible removes any level advantages and with enough play time you can get pretty decent at it.

Well worth that cash.

The Overwatch beta is really cool. I conveniently had my two best matches by far while capturing gameplay, so that was nice. I like the post-game thumbs up stuff as a means of letting people give some positive feedback to players, though it seems that people don't really care about it.

I'm tempted to get the Prototype remasters. Someone talk me out of it. I played the first one on PS3 and enjoyed it. I only played the second one for a few hours and got sidetracked.

I'm a little surprised Activision never released a retail version of it.

Unless you like getting platinum's (this ones suppose to be pretty easy), save your money dude!!! That's the main reason I got it ( I know............I have a problem....) I've also never played either of them, and I've always wanted to check them out.

I do love me some trophies. I never got the Plat in the original though. Those Web of intrigue things seemed like they were going to be too time consuming.

Random question I couldn't find a answer for on google

I know if ps plus expires you lose access to the free games that you "purchased" every month

I've heard you can't later buy one of those games if you decide not to stick with ps plus because it's already been purchased (but can't be played)

is this true? is there a way to fix that if it is?

The only way you wouldn't be able to purchase them is if you still had an active PS+ sub. You're free to buy whatever you want if you let your sub lapse.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/05/08/the-drop-new-playstation-games-for-5102016/

Here's The Drop for this week:

New Releases: May 10, 2016

Doom - $59.99 PSN, $53.99 PS+ Pre-order
PS4 — Digital, Retail (Out 5/13)

Developed by id Software — the studio that pioneered the first-person shooter genre and created multiplayer Deathmatch — Doom returns as a brutally fun and challenging modern-day shooter experience. Relentless demons, impossibly destructive guns, and fast, fluid movement provide the foundation for intense, first-person combat.

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies - $39.99
PS Vita — Digital, Retail

The prestigious Gamicademi — a school of fading glory. To put it back in the spotlight, Blanc and friends decide to film a zombie flick on campus. All’s quiet on the set until real zombies start crawling out of the woodwork! Now they’ve got to send these zombies to detention in this hack ‘n’ slash — or else be history!

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End - $59.99 Standard Edition, $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition
PS4 — Digital, Retail

Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

Prototype games are fun, very budget sandbox games. They get some things right --- you can speed around the city fast, there are cool 'military base takeover' missions, and some other niceties.

They feel very much like an evolution of the Hulk game, if you ever played that.

They fall into the 'Saints Row' category of getting you so powered up you're invincible, eventually. destroy, destroy.

Definitely feel budge -- buildings are very flat looking, the civilians basically just stand there, etc.

Plot is stapled on but sufficient.

I had fun plat'ing both but don't expect a detailed open world game, just a budget open world sandbox to destroy stuff.

Strong week of releases as I will eventually get everything that is showcased in this week's drop.

Sidenote: Anyone else loving the Overwatch beta? Had high hopes for it and beta is making me want it now. Tons of fun and glad to see Blizzard pushing back the beta one extra day.

Anyone else having trouble preloading Uncharted 4? I thought we suppose to be able to preload this yesterday, but I just keep getting the same "game is not yet available" error. WTF!!!

I'm loving Overwatch. If not for the beta I would have overlooked it. The more characters that make it into my mix the more fun it becomes. I was going to wait until June to buy it, figuring there will be a PSN 10% off code for E3, but I'm enjoying the game so much I kind of want to get it at launch.

After the first night I actually had a dream of it's gameplay. A funny thing about it was D.Va had a Tron Bonne skin. And now that I think about it, Birdie, from Street Fighter, would be a great skin for Roadhog.

Wow, I just got a purple emote for Roadhog, and it's practically the same headbanging Birdie does for one of his victory poses in Street Fighter V.

Yeah, I'm going to pre-order it from PSN. If a Spend $100 promotion hadn't happened a couple months ago I might have waited until next month. If a 10% code happens I won't mind paying $6.00 to play the game early.

Plus, pre-orders get a Widowmaker skin and a PS4 theme. Though the theme is underwhelming. It's the Tracer game start-up image with some music I don't recognize from the beta. Actually, I don't even know what the Widowmaker skin looks like. The PSN pre-order bonuses aren't that special. I guess it did give you access to an earlier beta, but that's only good if you were already sold on the game.

I have to agree that Overwatch seems pretty fun, and it's a lot better documented than the Battleborn beta was.  I had very little idea what I was doing when I tried Battleborn.

Anyone have thoughts on Pumped BMX+?

It looks like a Trials kinda game (which I like) and is in the right price range (< $5) with three-way cross buy. But it seems to be a mobile port (which are hit and miss) and gets mostly 'eh' reviews.

I'll probably bite, unless?
After careful consideration to all the replies, I'm going to wait until it is 75% off.

Ya know, save that $1.30.

With three more decisions like that this year, I'll be able to get a Starbucks.

Count me in as a fan of Overwatch, freaking game is a ton of fun. Unfortunately I got it for PC (friends said PC), and now my friends went and got it for PS4  :headache:  .

Still trying to decide whether to get Uncharted 4 or just wait, but I don't see a  price drop happening any time soon

PS4 Overwatch seems more clunky than PC version from the beta, but it just felt slower and such to me. Course I also control slowly with the controller compared to mouse and keyboard, but the characters and stuff seemed to move slower. May just be me seeing this...just didn't feel as clean, but was still playable.

Just goes to show you can't trust PC gamers.

yeah PC overwatch is way better than ps4, and i'm a guy that mostly plays on PS4 and has 100+ hours in destiny, division, and black ops 3. Its much faster, visually looks better, and controls much tighter on PC. That said its not bad or anything on PS4, but I played both for 10+ hours during beta and I'd rather play on PC.

Same for doom but don't plan on getting that at launch, Uncharted 4 + Overwatch is more than enough for me for the next 2-3 months.

So it looks like my target has ran out of PSN gift Cards but still has gift cards for PS4 GTA Cash. Does anyone know if those codes will redeem only for GTA Cash or if they will initially redeem as PSN credit that can be used towards buying GTA Cash (which I won't be doing)?

Great, of course, but how in 2016 is this not an option from the beginning? I feel like for these games, it's as standard as making square the reload button. What possible limitations did they have?

Unrelated, but interesting #soon hashtag...
The limitation is that the fps might drop to 30. Oh my god, can you imagine the horror?! (/sarcasm)

Seriously, that is why they have stopped having splitscreen in some racing games. SMH

I had the same feeling playing the beta on PC and PS4. It might be just the mouse keyboard combo, but it did feel faster (and I was way more accurate)

Have to figure out tonight what to purge (temporarily) from my PS4 for Uncharted 4. Seriously need to upgrade that hard drive. :(

I preordered Overwatch but I will say I thought there would be more content. It's polished and balanced I guess but it's not significantly better than plants vs zombies 2

feels like it's been forever since we had a GC deal

I wanna snag one last thing (star wars III ps2) but I was hoping for one of the sites to have a deal before I did

running outta time!

Uncharted 4 is now downloaded. A nice 54GB.  I am afraid of how much it will end up with all the DLC.  I was not looking to upgrade my HD but when one game might reach upwards of 70GB I might have to consider.

cool, thank you
I had an entirely different scenario just occur regarding this week's sale on Star Wars Pinball. I had it through plus before, but I couldn't get the demo to work on my vita now that I let my sub lapse. Ended up getting a refund because they couldn't figure out the error either. That is the only game I have tried to purchase from the psn that I used to have through PS+, and it is the only issue that I have ever had with my vita downloading games. I don't think it is a coincidence. Sony support was a joke also.
