You can always just respec, so no worries. Just look up what a good build is online and base your respec off that if you're worried.

Oh, in regards to my comments about a new PC build from last week, where's the better place to get stuff from, Amazon or Newegg? I'm considering selling some of my physical game collection for gift card balance from either site, I just want to know which one has the better discounts. (I'm in California so I get stiffed with sales tax and their "this item is poisonous!!1111" tax either way.)

I have a Prime trial at Amazon, so there's that...

I'd have to boot up my character, but I believe I spec'd my zerker to remain gunzerking for as long as possible. I know I initially went down the Rampage tree and picking items that helped ammo replenishment and duration, skipping the cooldown related skills. My build was all about killing a mob while gunzerking, then loot and cooldown and repeat.

It doesn't matter much unless you're in a state that charges sales tax for either place. The only thing I refuse to order from Newegg is hard drives. Newegg is STILL completely clueless how to ship an OEM hard drive without it bouncing all over the place. I personally like Amazon because the customer service is better but I still use Newegg when it's cheaper.

Okay, tebow just messaged me on Steam.  He doesn't know why he was banned.  He sent me his last post in the Humble Bundle thread, and while it was a doozy, it wasn't out of the ordinary for him and I didn't see any bannable offense.  He also doesn't know how long he's banned for; it sounds like he didn't get a message from a mod or anything.  He wanted me to pass on the following messages (please don't ban me, mods):

Speaking seriously though, CAG doesn't have mods, it has silent executioners. You will never know what you did wrong, you'll just be silenced or banned out of the blue with no warning, and then if you make a new account to ask the mods what you did wrong, they will ban your IP.

You can email Cheapy. That's your only option, and he's either busy as fuck, lazy as fuck, or both, and you'll be lucky if he replies to you a week later.

Oddly I've never had any problems buying hard drives from them. Then again, their distribution center is just North of me, across the San Diego valley.

It seems to be pretty hit and miss when you read the user reviews on the hard drives. I should also add that I've never had any problems getting Amazon to PM something that's cheaper on Newegg. Unlike the digital side of things, they do it very quickly and with seemingly only me reporting the deal.

How can I put this politely? That isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm all for OT banter and occasional bouts of fake/sarcastic rage, but there are limits that any self controlled adult should adhere to. Even on the internet.

+1 on the hard drives. I've had both Newegg and Amazon ship them poorly but Amazon's customer service is head and shoulders above Newegg when it comes to returns.

New thread. Interesting. I beat my first game of the year. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. What damn waste of a first game of the year. I've been playing nothing but Persona 4 and watching anime lately so for a change of pace I figured it was about time for some bullets to penetrate faces. I figured something as throwaway as a Call Of Duty title would work for a cheap shooter fix. One damn sitting. So very lackluster and brief. Sigh. New anime completed list though. Blood C, Medaka Box, Mawaru Penguindrum, Tenchi Muyo: War On Geminar. Anyone know any other good anime? I need something awesome and nonsensical.

Guacamelee: Gold Edition. Hands down one of my favorite Steam games. Got it from Humble Bundle Indie 11 Bundle. (BTW tomorrow is the last day to get this one). The gameplay is akin to Super Metroid and Castlevania with River City Ransom and Double Dragon ingredients mixed in.

Well I've also kinda passively played Fallout 3 and New Vegas lately. But I've gotten into the habit of just dicking around murdering all in my path good, neutral, evil. It's all target practice.

 
The other thread got locked before I could reply, so  vince_carter, if you are reading this, Origin is not really that much faster than Steam, if at all. The Origin download speeds shown by the program are completely fake( and in most cases even surpass what is supposed to be possible with your connection)

AFAIK, the "download speeds" are calculated with the final size of the game,installed. But you are not downloading that, you are firstly downloading a compressed file.

in super late news, i did not finish 4 for February. i finished dmc: Devil May Cry and Warhammer 40k Space Marine. i was on my way to beating Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckong when the Diablo 2.0 patch hit. frankly i don't see why alot of people like it. i've been playing since the patch came out and haven't found 1 upgrade, and i have a REALLY bad character...
