Can you imagine being the intern(s) that was given the assignment to chop every single IMAX frame for that movie?  I think that they would have hated themselves by the end of the day.

Honestly a cool mission patch would have been a better collectible.

I don't know if anybody mentioned it yet since I didn't read back, but best buy has a bunch of the steelbooks from a few years ago at $6.99. From the Hangover wave of stuff.

Thanks for mentioning this. I wasn't seeing it at first but then realized Best Buy spells steelbook as two words so my search was missing a bunch of movies, including all the $6.99 ones.

 
Yeah, thank you. Picked up Chinatown and Goodfellas for 7 a pop.. Would have gone for The Hangover I & 2, but not having that 3rd one as a steelbook would bother me.

Still shows as $19.99 on Target.com. With Interstellar, it took them until release day to drop the price down to match the in-store price, which generated a credit back for me on my pre-order.

Let's hope this happens again and it's a change for Target.com handling pre-orders. BvR has the same "if the price drops, we'll refund you the difference" like Interstellar had.

Yeah, I noticed they started doing that with the last few steelbooks. Before that it was like pulling teeth to get a price adjustment at release.

 
Some of those Interstellar film cells are going for stupid money on eBay. Mine sold for well over $100 and even the less interesting ones are selling for decent money. My friend sold his of Murph and Cooper in the truck and you can't even see Coopers face and it still sold for $27. Might to be something to look into if you're not interested in your film cell.

 
Yeah when you have no life, no wife/gf/kids, and have money to blow...yeah you are going to buy a single frame cell for 100 bucks...

Mine is worthless... it's that teacher from that parent teacher conference in the beginning.

lol, that explains why I could get the steelbook version with unused code for 18 bucks shipped on ebay. They can have the cels, I don't have the time for ebay reseller games.

Looks like the space one's are making the most $

Mine is of the red hair girl in a car...wonder how much I can make off that.   Have yet to see the movie so can't pinpoint the scene just yet.

It was the Endurance. As someone else said, the space cells are the high dollar ones. Good shots of the main characters go for good money too, but the most expensive cells don't feature any actors.

 
My cell is a perfect shot of Matt Damon when he I describing his planet. I'm going to keep it but wonder what it would sell for.

So it looks like it's 22.99 plus 1.30 for shipping, also not 3D. I suppose I might get it and buy the 3D disc off ebay which essentially makes the 3D version a 10$ upcharge.

All depends if the 3D is good or not, which since this is animated, it should be. I'd check reviews online about the 3Dness of the film if you're unsure.

 
Is the imported tin version of Hugo that comes with the watch worth anything? I have one lying around, most likely still in the amazon.de shipping box.

Also, my girlfriend likes spongebob (don't ask) but I don't live anywhere near a Gohastings and just based on a dozen or so orders I have placed for games, they are terrible at shipping items with adequate packing materials.

Sounds like the past few DC releases where they only get in a few copies in-store of the steelbooks. Glad I pre-ordered it, though Target is taking their damn time on shipping it out.

 
They didnt stock Batman vs Robin since there were so few of them. Had to ask the electronics clerk, they kept all the stock behind the counter at that register. They had "about 5"
 
Two Targets this morning, finally found a "damaged" Batman & Robin on a stocking cart. Pretty sure the employee was just trying to keep it for himself, nothing wrong with it at all .
 
Did DC/WB & BB have a falling out? The figure w/purchase used to be a BB thing & that's where I got my DCAU movies until the Target Steelbooks.

Now I worry the amount of Steelbooks will decrease since they will push the figures more. I work near a different Target on Tuesdays now, & their front display only had the figure BR & vanilla DVD up front, had to go to Electronics for Steelbook BR.

They had 6 copies total so going by what others have said I may of been the first one to get one at this location then.

Local store had 6 SB copies which is on par with the last few DC releases. Don't bother with the Batman bundle. The paint job on the figure looks terrible.
