Surprisingly the Last Movie You Saw Didn't Suck

I saw Ocean's 13 last night. I loved the first one (not the classic) and Ocean's 12 sucked ass, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was actually a lot better than I thought it would be, so I was happy. I'll probably pick it up on DVD when it comes out.

George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (US Theatrical Version)

Going to try and watch the other versions sometime this week, and probably Casino Royale 007 also.

Open Season... well it wasnt good for the movie, but looked awesome on BR on my tv

That was a decent Cronenberg picture.

He succeeded in creating such a dark, gradually enveloping environment. The story didn't do much for me, though.

Surf's Up. Had not interest in seeing it, but went has part of a child's birthday party. It was actually quite entertaining.

The Lives of Others (2006) - Good film, though I might enjoy it more if I'm more competent about the West vs East Germany situation in the 80's.

Vozvrashcheniye (2003) - The type of film that a lot of people hate for thinking the film is trying to accomplish something else, but in respect it is very gritty and powerful.

Actually just finished watching "The Fountain" on DVD...it was pretty amazing, but not as good as "Requiem for a Dream" or "Pi".

In the theater, I saw "Bug" over the weekend. I liked it a LOT, but I really think they're marketing it poorly...it's NOT a horror movie.

Ratatouille. Saw an advanced screening and it was probably the best animated movie I've seen in 10 years.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

I hate seeing movies in theatres. There's always some loud asshole in there.

I thought it was the same as the first one. Not too great.

Mr. Brooks, surprisingly "creepier" than I thought it was going to be. And Dane Cook was pretty convincing in his role.
