Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Preemptive thanks to Fox for doing yet another group buy. I'm sure Indie Gala hates you, but we love you.
Regardless of what the last unlock is this bundle doesn't live up to the name colossus.
True.

Though In my opinion, it's actually a decent bundle...provided that you didn't buy the Humble Introversion bundle a year and a half ago.

I did so I basically have everything in this bundle except Talisman. I just threw in a couple of bucks for that because realistically I don't think I am ever going to get it cheaper than that by itself.

It would be nice though if the last mystery game was something that wasn't in a bundle and also not a clientless dropbox download. :p

Or track the Humble Introversion bundle down from a trader last fall, but yeah, I agree.

Riding it out to see if the last addition is worth ~$2. Although given the Stardock presence I have a feeling it will be Political Machine 2012.

Well, is it worth $2?

 • King Arthur
 • King Arthur: Fallen Champions
 • King Arthur II + Dead Legions DLC
Basically the last bonus is the King Arthur Complete Collection.

edit. darn it, only 1 key. I don't know if I should reedem it considering that I have everything except Dead Legions..

Those Bastards. I was gonna create a steamgifts giveaway this morning to get rid of my extra copy of King Arthur. I dilly-dallied, and now it's too late. It's worthless now that it's in a bundle. :(

I have everything but Dead Legions and Fallen Champions. I'll certainly redeem my key as it's not like I'll be able to sell the key for enough to grab those two items.

Of course that Paradox War Chest I grabbed from Amazon over the holidays is looking like a worse deal than ever.

Geez, what kind of a CAG are you? I think the only game I didn't already have was Demigod, and that's one I'm never going to play anyway. Oh well, more hoarding.

OK, I just bought a copy off of FOX.

I just checked my bundle page and it's only one key for the King Arthur stuff. It says that it's the "King Arthur Complete Collection". I'm not at home now, so I can't redeem the code to find out, so can anybody tell me if it's really everything? Does it give you all the KA1 stuff like the Saxons & the Druids packs and all that other crap?

Not sure what they mean exactly:

https://twitter.com/IndieGala/status/305454078794801152

I already had KA I and II.

I activated the key and it gave me new entries for a KA Collection and Fallen Champions.

That said, I don't think the KA Collection you get is the same as the one sold on Steam. When I click the store page on the version in my library it just takes me to the main steam store page. So it must be a different collection, maybe with just some but not all of the DLC?

Clearer?
Any difference between the King Arthur Collection and the standalone releases?
Neocore rep:
Well, gameplay-wise it's the same. But if you purchase the collection it won't show the DLCs and expansions as downloadable contents, it will be just the Collection as a whole. That's why Steam handles (and has to handle) it as a separate game.

Apart from that the Collection has a new main menu, a new, Collection logo, and Social Media (Twitter, Facebook) and Website and Forum links integrated into the Main Menu of the game, now it looks like this: http://imageshack.us/f/13/capture07061333.jpg/

From SteamGifts thread:
Yes, it is the first game, the first game's stand-alone expansion, the second game, and the second game's DLC.
It does not include the other four King Arthur 1 DLC, which is included in Steam's King Arthur Collection.
Hrm, one of those KA1 DLCs is a bit weird, itself. It looks like you cannot get The Saxons on its own. The Saxons DLC that Steam offers is actually a bundle that contains Saxons and two other KA1 DLCs that are also sold separately. So if you want all four KA1 DLCs, you really only need to buy The Saxons and The Druids, since the other two come free with The Saxons.

SPUF points at how to tell DLC from file inspection. The IG one is probably the "old" version of the KA Collection hence not linking to a store page.

It looks like It is KA1 complete.

Reportedly 24470 is the appid of the KA Collection.
tl;dr - If the appid of King Arthur Collection is 24470 then it does contain all of the DLC for the original King Arthur game.
I should just keep this on copy and paste since everytime this game appears anywhere it creates mass confusion.
King Arthur base game + DLC has a different appid than King Arthur Collection which is the base game + DLC combined so they'll have separate entries.
There are four DLC for the first game and you receive The Druids DLC and The Saxons DLC in the Collection. The Saxons DLC should also includes Knights and Vassals DLC and Legendary Artifacts DLC so in the end, you should have all four DLC. You can see the box for the Collection which states it includes the Druids and Saxon DLC and this post goes in depth showing that all the DLC is included. I know the two links refer to the Amazon key, but you can go to the community hub for King Arthur Collection and verify that it is the same appid of 24470.

http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/BW5dQ/warning-about-king-arthur-collection-off-indiegala

So basically if I already have KA1 installed and just installed the KA Collection (from Gala) I should uninstall the old KA1 entry as it's redundant?

Oh Paradox and their ridiculous overuse of DLC that confuses things. This isn't the only game like that either. There's multiple versions of 'complete collections' for Magicka and Crusader Kings II floating around.

Thanks, this clears up a lot. I still don't know why Steam needs separate entries for essentially the same game, but I guess that's just one of those weird things.

Essentially, this means that if I already have KA1 with all the DLC installed, there's no reason to install the KA Collection, too, unless I want a new main menu, right?
So basically if I already have KA1 installed and just installed the KA Collection (from Gala) I should uninstall the old KA1 entry as it's redundant?
I'm wondering the same thing -- is there any benefit to having one over the other, besides a new menu screen? I have KA1 with all the DLC already installed, and since my internet is relatively slow, I'd rather not download and install the KA Collection, too, unless it offers a benefit. Are both on the same patch? I also wonder about multiplayer -- is multiplayer with KA1 compatible with multiplayer with the KA Collection?
I've heard that KA1 is broken, so they made KA2 instead of fixing it. Any truth to that?
I actually heard KA1 is superior to KA2.
I've heard that KA1 is broken, so they made KA2 instead of fixing it. Any truth to that?
If anything, KA1 is better than KA2 according to most. I wouldn't call either game "broken," but they have had a lot of issues with them depending on your computer rig. I haven't really had any problems other than some lag from them being poorly optimized, but I might just be lucky. Neocore also had issues with Lionheart: The Kings' Crusade. They make very creative and fun games, but they seem to have issues with the technical side.

when exactly am i supposed to get my keys? i bought the bundle last week, no keys have arrived. i've used the key resender a few times with no luck, and emailed support @ indiegala.com but no response.

feeling jipped...

Haven't messed with KA2 at all, as I don't have it (unless I activate this key, which I'm waffling a bit on--I only don't own KA2 and the KA2 DLC and I haven't decided whether it would be worthwhile), but I had a lot of CTD issues with KA1, especially immediately after a real-time combat.

I usually get my keys a few minutes after paypal is sent. Where do you have your email? The IG system doesn't work well with certain email providers. You might want to reach out to them on twitter or FB and explain you've contacted support with no response.

So I bought a bundle through a group buy, is there any way to tie this gift copy to my gala store account? I'm looking to get a discount on The Guild Bundle.

I don't think so. That's why Fox is a kazillionaire in Galapoints and the rest of us all have few of them. ;)

You'll probably have to get someone else to get the bundle for you if you want that discount.

I wonder if maybe group buys on some of the gala bundles when they have the $1 off cross promotions going on might not be a bad idea.

Happy Hour back! I'll be Pming people who hit me up soon.

Also, no way to tie to your account. But I will help anyone who wants any of the store bundles as long as they are willing to pay with Paypal Gift only.

I still have a few bundles left when I purchased a few days ago if people want for $1.95 PayPal. When I get rid of them all I may be pick up another happy hour for cheaper then I grabbed the first time.

I wonder if maybe group buys on some of the gala bundles when they have the $1 off cross promotions going on might not be a bad idea.
On and unrelated note, you should get a medal for your new avatar.
Which doesn't work for direct downloads.

Like the awesomeness that is The Rockin' Dead.
Not like those Gala direct downloads are that secure anyway. Someone could always go ohai heerz dounloadz linx. It's just on their dropbox and it's not a unique url tied to anyone's account.

Junpei should get the medal, he made it, I just stole it from him. ;)

Has anyone compared download links from galastore purchases to confirm that?

Even if true, that skirts along some grey areas--I recall a number of post deletions in an Amazon deals threads where such things were being discussed.

I'll PM you to compare links if you let me know which direct downloads you have. I already have all this stuff so not like I am going to swipe anyone else's.

I'm pretty sure Gala just has one dropbox account though and not that they are generating unique urls for everyone or anything like that. I know the developer of Smooth Operators mentioned he noticed a huge jump in his game being pirated after Gala put it as a DRM free direct download via dropbox in one of their bundles. He made a special edition of the game just for Gala and that was the version being pirated.
