Can somebody who's progun explain to me why it's a good idea why Congress shouldn't fund a bill that makes the law enforcement agencies enforce the current gun laws? Because the NRA has done so much to make them a joke.

Meanwhile Republicans are criticizing Democratic lawmakers for staging a sit-in, saying they are sitting on their asses instead of kissing the asses of their buddies like they are. I mean, I don't even know if the current Congress has passed a budget or did anything about our crumbling infrastructure, or fixed or destroyed Obamacare.
In simple terms because NRAs sole purpose is to fight gun regulations. It's like if you have a nonprofit organization for cancer research, one goal and nothing else.
Nonetheless lets try to go over these laws. Please keep in mind that I am not familiar with all of these laws but ill give you my opinion on the reasoning behind them.
1. Concealed carry reciprocity - Expanding on a successful program where individuals are allowed to protect themselves after undergoing special training. Does not seem like a bad idea to me. Private business and some government buildings can of course opt out and not allow individuals to bring in firearms.
2. Private gun sales loophole - Well the whole point of the 2nd Amendment is to fight a government which infringes upon the rights of the people. Therefore people would probably prefer if government did not have a record of a gun transaction. Agree or disagree, in the eyes of gun owners it makes sense.
3. Terror watch list - Suspected is the key word. This should be opposed by any freedom loving individual. It shows how far United States has fallen when we no longer go through a due process but on assumptions.
4. Stand-your-ground laws - I would think this law is self explanatory. In my opinion its usually better to run though but if someone attacks me then I would like an option to legally defend myself.
5. Guns on campuses - So far this law has been a success as far as I know. Personally I think any public school should allow for something like that. A private university should have an ability to opt out.
6. Guns in schools - None of the bills have been proposed would have stopped a school shooting. I think its only fair that people try a different approach.
7. Guns in the workplace - I believe private companies should have a right to ban firearms on the private property. If a person keeps his firearm in his car then I would allow it.
8. Guns in bars and restaurants - Should not be forced on private businesses. Let them decide for themselves.
9. Tracing guns used in shootings - This is about not giving a government the ability to keep records on gun owners.
10. Revoking licences from corrupt dealers - Need an example of this before deciding.
“You’re saying,” Thomas responds, “that recklessness is sufficient to trigger a misdemeanor violation of domestic conduct that results in a lifetime ban on possession of a gun, which, at least as of now, is still a constitutional right. Can you think of another constitutional right that can be suspended based upon a misdemeanor violation of a state law?”
What happens if you decide to write some nasty post on facebook which isn't true but hurts someone emotionally or financially? If you are convicted of slander then should you lose your right to free speech?
One thing you have to understand is that these rights are natural, above the constitution which is merely a document that puts them on paper. A person should continue to exercise their rights as long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others. This is why I also have such a big issue with people losing the ability to vote after serving a prison sentence. Surely you would agree that someone who has smoked marijuana does not deserve to lose his freedom and nor his other rights.
