Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Can't remember the exact price, but video game t-shirts were going for 2 for $10 or $15. Perhaps someone can update with the right price. I think it's a clearance.
 
Rock Band 3 for $7.change! This was yesterday; went in, picked it up, and it rang up at $9.98+tax up until right before I had to swipe my cc. Asked why it didn't ring up at 30% off and the cashier adjusted it manually.

Saw Prince of Persia, Nier, Wii Cabela's games with the gun, COD Reflex, etc. But I couldn't manage to get any of them for $7 each just to add to my backlog. What is wrong with me?! :)
 
Grabbed 2 Rock Band 3's (one for friend) and Clash of the Titans for $22.

Really wanted Nier but didn't see it.
Might take back Clash...it was hard to pass up purchasing a $7 game even knowing it likely sucks.
 
Grabbed the last 2 Nier, Phantasy Star Portable, Red Alert 3 (just because this is my favorite red alert), and Red Steele 2. All 7 bucks each. Can't really complain if the games ends up being bad. I could always resell it, or give it to my cousins.
 
Well, everything on clearance is at 30%, confirmed! :)

Got one 2-pack screen protector for the PSPGo for $3.49 ($4.99 clearance price) and some PSPGo official first party component cables for $13.49 (clearance prince $19.99) [knew online, like eBay some sites have some cheaper, but ordered 2 "cheap ones" and both arrived with problems: #1 the green cable didn't worked, #2. didn't worked at all]

Noticed many games already mentioned: Nier, EA MMA, Dante's Inferno, all Guitar Hero DS-games with grips, Devil May Cry 4, Dead to Rights Retribution, Crackdown 2, Qubed,...all for $6.99 ($9.99 - 30%).

Scene it ,for Xbox 360 (the first one , blue box with 4 controllers) was $4.20 ($6 - 30%)....and some action figures from Bioshock, Resistance, Sonic, Halo, etc.) were also on clearance.

Everything was labeled accordingly so no problems looking for games and confirming prices), and eveyrthing (except the figures and accesories) were behind a dispay (i.e. not thrown in a box outside or anything), so everything in alphabetical order and organized by system (was a expecting a disaster, but glad to see everything was so organized). :bouncy:

Went today and saw MLB 2k11 for PS2/PSP marked to 9.98. Otherwise, everything else was mostly cleaned out. There are a bunch of overpriced clearance games on the racks that have literally been sitting there forever, but I doubt they ever get marked down...
 
picked up X Blades for 6.99 in DE

when i was in pittsburgh over the weekend, they had gems like crackdown 2 and halo odst for 9.98

...its a shame i already had both, and paid close to full price at their launch

It should be. If I get to the other local TRU in our area and can snag one I'll let you know. But be forewarned that even the gameplay mechanics are pretty much an exact copy of God Of War 3. So much so I'm kinda shocked EA didn't get sued like crazy by Sony over how 'similar' they are.

Thanks guys for the heads up on this. I was about to go buy Dead to Rights and Clash of the Titan for $10 at BB. But thanks to you all, I was able to run to TRU tonight and snag both for $7 each. If anyone cares, there were several more Dead to Rigths and a couple Clash of the Titans left for both systems at the TRU in Wesley Chapel. Crackdown 2 was also available for 360. I got a friend a copy. Also, one Nier for PS3 and other games but I didnt note anything. Bunch of craptacular Wii games, but I didnt really look at them so not sure if there are good ones in there.

Just stopped in to the Toys'R'Us and the sales clerk was mentioning that someone just bought a bunch of clearance games too...Guess I know who it was now. ;)
 
Bah, why can't the 360 version of Lost Planet 2 be on clearance too?

Anyway, picked up a Boy and His Blob (Wii), might go back for Dead to Rights (360) but nothing else good remaining at $9.98 besides that.
 
I picked up a copy of Crackdown 2 for $7 yesterday.

All of the Star Wars PC games are marked at clearance prices as well, so they should be down to $2 after the 30% off. Those games would be Battlefront, Battlefront 2, Jedi Knight 2, etc.
 
I saw several of the clearance games but only the XBOX versions seemed to ring up with the 30% discount (according to the price scanner)... the PS3 games that I checked rang up at the $9.98 clearance price. No signs at the TRU about the 30% clearance sale so I didn't have anything concrete to question the lack of discount.

It felt a little like stealing getting RB3 so cheap. The store had no 30% signage up, nor was RB3 marked. Thanks guys for the heads up.
 
I am jealous of you guys finding Rock Band 3 on the 360. That game definitely got produced in small numbers (probably because of the crash of the music games. Guitar Hero apparently did not get that message judging by how many copies you see of that still). I think I've only seen it at GameStop in recent months and online. B&M stores just don't see to carry it anymore while you can find Rock Band 2 on occasion.

Very, very rarely. When I worked at TRU we'd get large boxes of games that contained a mishmash of games, occasionally with a clearance title in the mix. That only happened twice that I can remember, but it does happen.

Hmm. Guess I'll hit up TRU sometime again this week. Only about a 5 minute drive from work.. :D
 
There was one copy of :ps3:X-Blades($5 @ Kmart IF you can find it;)) and one copy of :ps3:Rock Band at the TRU I hit up today. Otherwise they had jack and shit.

Anyone know what the second 50 Cent game for PS3 is at currently in the clearance cycle? They had a copy there but I'm not that interested in it so I didn't bother to have it scanned. It was marked $34.98.
 
People around you guys must not shop at TRU for video games in general, judging by how much stuff y'all are finding. At my store, the only $9.99 360 or PS3 game I've seen is Dead to Rights Retribution that my buddy was holding trying to decide if he wanted it.

I definitely would've picked up RB3.

I think it is. If the marked price is correct, then yes. But as you may know, TRU takes things off of clearance sometimes. I'd just ask the cashier to scan it.

Yugioh tag force 5 (psp)
GOW sparta
Phantasy star 0 (DS)

All $6.99 each, i flipped MJ and Yugioh to F.Y.E., they give $12.80 for Yugioh and $11 for MJ. btw i got cash, not credit.

Oh and IATCG, dont bother lookin for Dante for me, i chked the WB store today. They didnt have it. Got 7 games total, kept 2 (GOW and Phantasy star 0) for the collection and flipped the rest. Oh they gave me $7 for Deal or no Deal at F.Y.E, there's a whole stack of them at the DC target for $3.74 each. Thx anyway tho.
 
Decided to swing by TrU, to see if I could find RB3 or GoW Sparta: no luck, but they did have Nier, so I picked that up for 7.xx after taxes. There were a couple of copies left, and they were not in the clearance bin, but rather on the "under 20bucks" section.
 
picked up the last copy of Nier and Rockband 3 (360), along with a boy and his blob (wii) in Calexico, CA.

50 cent bulletproof? That game was surprisingly good. I have the 360 version and its quite fun. Not spectacular but great for its cheezy factor and its a competent action game.

Hu? what do you mean you flipped it at F.Y.E? do they take new game trade ins? or did you just return it without a reciept and they gave you cash? My store had like no psp games. I think it had yugioh but i didn't get it cuz thats crap. Might have had MJ too i think now that im thinking about it.



I didn't see much at my TRU. They had rock band 3 but for some reason the 360 version was like 15 bucks. Only the ps3 version was 9.98 =( Is it confirmed that a boy and his blob is 9.98? I didn't check that out it may have been with the regular games. I didn't look for Nier either. I have the 360 version but for 7 bucks i may pick up the ps3 version

All were 7.00 There was some stuff i wanted that they were out of. Mainly crackdown 2. it also sucked the 360 version of rockband was more than the ps3 version. Im considering going back and looking again if Nier and a boy and his blob were elsewhere in the store. There was actually a nice girl there soring the clearance rack that helped me find stuff. Chatty kid actually, she kinda wouldn't shut up but it was nice to have someone to scan stuff i needed to double check on. I.e. Baroque was listed as 29.99 but scanned as 9.98 when she hit it with her gun. I wish there was a comprehensive list of what exactly is on clearance to double check to see if another run is worth it

YVW. I guess I'll have to hit the DC TRU this morning when I go to ship out my package I gotta send out from my Amazon store. Hopefully there's some stuff left and I can hit there before the soccer moms or whoever it is that hits up the TRU/Target up there gets there today.;)

Actually there was a newer release called Blood On The Sand. I believe it was a sequel to Bulletproof, which I bought for the original Xbox from Hollywood Video during their closing sale for $3 and change. I think I left it at my one buddies' house for his nephew to play, since I don't even play my Xbox anymore.:cry:

Damn. I may have to make a run to the closest TRU today to see if they still have a copy of Folklore. I had it back in the day but I thought it was meh. I think I paid $25 for it though, but for $7 I'd likely keep it.

errr i did mean blood on the sand. I have no idea why i said bulletproof, that game is shit o_O total brain fart. And ya Folklore is cool. I actually have it already but for 7 bucks i figured a sealed copy would be cool. Kinda a violent action oriented pokemon i guess is how id describe the gameplay. The best part was the story, that was a total mind-fuck. Not gonna spoil it but theres a really cool twist, especially about one of the playable characters..

By the way forgot to mention got mine at the Dublin, CA store. They had a few more copies of everything i listed. Only 1 more of folklore though. I actually considered buying a couple copies of baroque but didn't

By the way.. anyone know: was fast food panic or dinner dash the good game? I remember playing an XBL demo a while back but cant remember what game it was. It was kinda fun.
 
Yo Kenshindono, i mean i bought them at TRU, took them out of the package and then sold them to F.Y.E. (in-store) for cash.

In my experience TRU's $ off coupons almost NEVER work on video games, hardware, accessories or anything else remotely useful.
 
Some stores don't mark there items as clearance. For instance, the one store didn't mark Rock Band 3 down to $9.98 or Borderlands. They're still in the glass. They didn't mark down Vanquish because it's still marked at $39.99 when it was on clearance for $16.98.

Vanquish might have gone up, or at least it's $39.99 on their website since last week. Not sure what's going on with that.
 
Bought Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 for around $2 each thanks to them being marked down and then an additional 30% off.

Great games. Just wonderful.
 
At KOP tru I picked up the last copies of:

Dante's Inferno
Dead to Rights
Phantasy Star 0

They had tons of crackdowns and PoPs but everything else was picked over. Kind of disappointed since I really wanted Nier and Ghost of Sparta. I might check out the one in montgomeryville later today.
