Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Didn't see much at all at the Great Northern, OH TRU. Saw Clash of the Titans for both :360: and :ps3:. I did see one copy left of X-Blades and Dead to Rights :360: there. I did pick up a few DS Toy Story accessories on clearance and A Boy and His Blob for the Wii as well as some Star Wars PC games.

I picked up Kung Fu to flip, i got a guy i goto gives me a minimum of $15 for current gen games, no matter what it is. He will probably mark Kung Fu at like $30. LOL

Last week i found a scratched up Pink ds lite at the flea market for $5...drove 2 miles down the road and sold it to him for $50 cash....he does sell this shit tho. Almost everytime im in there he sells NES/N64/SNES systems for $50 no problem.

Yeah, tried it, didn't work. It scanned and came up on the mini screen as "$5 off coupon", but something on the clerk's screen must have said no go.

Vanquish was always $39.99. For one week, it was on sale for $16.99. It was never on clearance.
 
Went to TRU to get my price adjustment. Picked up Beatles Rock Band PS3, Phantasy Star 0 DS and the wireless sensor bar.

Still had plenty of RB3, Nier and C&C Red Alert all PS3.

nope it was out on the floor.
 
Checked my store today. Very few things out on the actual floor (Most of the games i had either already owned, or were just shovelware). Pretty much everything was still upwards of the 20$ mark.

Left with just a PSP GO case for like 3$
 
got Nier PS3, Borderlands PS3 and the Cabella Shotgun w/ Game Wii.
Each 6.99+Tax :)

They had a copy of Dark Sector but it costs $15; in the OP it shows $5 so I guess it went back up?

Ya, my closer one only takes Wii/360/PS3 games....i had to drive to a further one that takes PSP/DS etc. since i had some PSP games too. I remember when i worked at TRU years ago, i got around 10 copies of Mister Mosquito (ps2) for 90 cents each. FYE gave me $10 cash each for them and they let me trade all my copies,lol.

I went to TRU yesterday just to browse, and I stumbled upon a Wednesday & Thursday ONLY offer of Buy 1 get 1 free on selected Wii titles. I don't know if it was just a deal for that particular store or if it's everywhere, but I picked up FlingSmash and Kirby's Epic Yarn for $50 total. Plus FlingSmash comes with a Wiimote. Extra bonus!
 
I went to TRU yesterday and was able to snatch the last copy of Borderlands for PS3 for 9.98 and Street Fighter IV for PS3 for 19.99...after 30% it came down to 6.99 for Borderlands and SFIV even shot down to 13.99. YMMV but perhaps the 19.99 games work as part of this 30% off as well. If it matters, SFIV has the R Super Buy 19.99 sticker on it.
 
They must have updated their computers because clearance games that were not receiving the 30% discount earlier in the week now are getting the 30% discount. So I bought RB3 (PS3) and BioShock 2 (PS3) for $6.99 each plus tax.

Yes, it's a national sale. There was a thread out there somewhere. People generally felt the selection was weak minus FlingSmash, Kirby, and I think Sin and Punishment hence the thread might have gotten lost :)

Thanks for the update, I was planning on going to another TRU today and hoped they fixed it because I know there was always the chance of getting a manager saying that the $9.98 already is the discounted price and refuse to override like someone else had happen to them a few pages back.
 
Went to a toledo ohio tru and scored rockband 3 ps3 and prince of persia for 360 for $15 after 30% off. pumped since the website told me that my locations were out of rb3.
 
went to a couple of TRU's in my area. seen a DtR:R, nier, kung fu rider...passed
but i did grab a RB3 and EA MMA for PS3.

P.S.
there was a walmart next to a TRU and found a DJ hero 2 bundle for 15 bucks.

I hit the Regency TRU and picked up Lost Planet 2 and Bioshock 2 for :ps3: for $7 a piece.
Did you hit the CTC store? Did they have anymore of those CoD :wii:? I didn't realize that was on sale otherwise I would have scanned the Regency store.
I'm really looking for a Kung Fu Rider but have had no luck.
The Regency TRU still has a Nier :ps3: left and a ton of NFS: Shift :360:.

Can anyone speak as to what the Janzten Beach toys r us has for :ps3: clearance?
 
Anybody have any printouts or screencaps of the Toys R' Us pages for A Boy and His Blob, Rock Band 3 (for Xbox 360), and/or De Blob? I tried looking for the Google cache, but no luck. I think I have to try to price match them since none of these Toys R' Us' around me have these three games. Wish I thought of this earlier.

Found apparently the last copy of Crackdown 2 in the NEOH TRUs at the Fairlawn/Copley, OH store tonight. $7.44 OTD.

I checked Mayfield Heights, Chapel Hill, and Mentor and none of them had it, finally I found one copy at Fairlawn.

All retail sale ads run Sunday til the next Saturday when the stores close. Unless it's a special sale day(see: Black Friday) that's how these sales ALWAYS run.

Unfortunately by waiting till Saturday evening to go grab anything you want everything may be gone by then.

Couldn't find COD: Reflex for Wii at the 2 TRU's by me. I did pick up a $5 off coupon at TRU for all COD games for all systems. Valid 5/03/11-7/09/11. Doesn't say anything about not using the coupon on clearance or sale prices so I guess it I could have got the game for $1.99 if they had it. Found the coupons on a COD display endcap. Even if you don't use it now you should pick one up as you might use it in the future as it doesn't expire for until July.
 
I bought PoP for PS3 earlier this week and didn't get a 30% discount, so now can I bring in my receipt tomorrow to get a refund or do I just eat the $3?
 
Silver PS2 $59.49 make them scan it $84.98 w/o 30% off deal black ones were at the store too no toy story bundles though. 2nd TRU had the black console & Toy story bundles but behind glass & no reps around it was 15-20 b4 closing though.

Wish I coulda gotten RB3 and Shift for 360, but I did find the following for $7 each after discount on Saturday:

More importantly I got two Energizer Charge Stations which now include a place to charge official wireless headsets!!!

Energizer Charge Station for PS3 24.98 - 30% = 17.49
Energizer Charge Station for 360 19.98 - 30% = 13.99

I already had the Energizer stand for the 360, but knowing where my wireless headset is and knowing its charged will be so much better. Plus I had an additional $3 off coupon.
 
The "Buy 1 game and get one 50% off" for games priced 19.99 and lower stacks with the clearance sale. Purchased 2 copies of Nier (XBOX) and one copy was $7.48 (after 25% clearance) and the other was $3.74 (after first the 50% off then the 25% clearance).

Saw other games... 007:Quantum of Solace, X-Blades, Brutal Legends, Project Sylpheed... all $9.98
 
A TRU I stopped at today had a sign stating 50% off certain clearance items which included video games. Closest things to being worth buying that I don't already have were Lost Planet 2 and Rogue Warrior, but I passed at $5 each. Sign stated dates of 8-7 thru 8-13.
