Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

I just came back from TRU. I went to get Bayonetta and Folklore. For some reason, Bayonetta was not coming taking the 20% off clearance promotion. I had to call the manager to authorize it. Either way, I got the two games for 15.96. Good deal!
 
Just picked up a PSP Go this afternoon. Anyone know if any of the PSP Go accessories are on clearance at TRU? Thanks.
 
I acquired my copy of Uncharted from the BOGO sale at Blockbuster several weeks ago. It's probably not viable as option now, given the sale is at its last leg, but it might be worth checking out via phonecall. It was a former rental converted into a purchase.
 
Why did I just buy :wii: Call of Duty: World at War for $8? ($9.98 - 20% until 1/8). I'm not going to play this game, am I? I have too many other games to play. Stupid CAG... :)

Picked up 2 copies of Bayonetta (Xbox 360) @ San Rafael, CA store. Marked $19.99 but rang up $9.98 as posted. There is one left.

Might return the 2nd one I bought though because my brother decided he didn't want it.

No zombie mode. Don't know about co-op, but given that it is the Wii, the co-op if it exists is likely light gun style.

Oh man IATCG you're a life saver. I just checked my Spam folder and found that sucker in there. Mine was $5, wonder if I can still score Bayonetta....

Yeah, I got the email too on 12/30/10. But I got $5 coupon valid until 1/14/11 and a $4 valid 1/15/11-1/29/11. I used $5 on baby stuff already. There were 12 coupons total.
 
I received almost $30 in Rewards R Us certificates. I got 3 $5 ones good til the 14th and 2 $6 ones good from the 15th until the end of the month.

These are like free money, have no minimums and can be stacked.

I used the 3 $5 ones during the B1G1 50% off sale when buying a couple of clearance games last week.

I'll probably use the 2 $6 ones on a game later in the month. Hopefully there is a good deal or a GC with purchase.

I already used the $4 off coupon on :ps3:C&C RA 3 and most of the rest is for baby stuff or toys.:razz:
 
A non video games update from what I saw this morning. All xmas stuff is 75% off. I got a couple 6 packs of wrapping paper for $2 and the reusable shopping bags are $0.37. Also, Trident Layers gum is $1.28 from $1.59 if I remember correctly.

AFAIK they are a one time use code but not really linked to your specific acc. you just need a reward card for the system to be able to scan it and give you the discount...

I see, thanks! I though that maybe they had more than that one, I have emails in my trash from before and after that week so I don't get why I never received the one email I really wanted from them this december...

These email certificates are related to the Toys R Us Rewards promotion they had during November and December - 10% of purchases made at TRU during Nov/Dec. If you spent money at TRU, then you can log onto your TRU rewards account and print out the certificates.
 
I saw it had been posted elsewhere in this thread, but just another heads up. If we could get the OP to update the front page of this thread and mention that Phantasy Star Portable (PSP) is $10 on clearance, that'd be great.

In addition, might want to note that (at least at this point in time) there's apparently a 20% off deal going for clearance titles. Ended up walking out the door of Toys R Us with Phantasy Star Portable for $8. Definitely a good buy in my book. :D

I'm pretty sure they only send out coupons in $5 denominations, if you were expecting $9 I think your sol.

The 20% off was for clearance items only and likely was ONLY for LAST WEEK(Sunday-Saturday).

That's how most sales and extra percentage specials usually run.
 
Yesterday, I got Bayonetta for $9.98 and the Capcom Triple Pack with Dead Rising, Lost Planet Colonies and Devil May Cry 4 for $14.38. Bayonetta didn't get an extra discount but the Triple pack got knocked down $3.60 from $17.98, which was odd, but $2 isn't that big a deal to me. Still glad I scored some good stuff.

Picked up these 3 the other day..all for 360..all $7.98...all paid with TRU Dollars. Prince of Persia, Brave: A Warrior's Tale, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom.

Picked up :ps3: Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition for $9.98 before discount. Haven't played much RTS on a console. I hope this game is worth it.

Actually, they rounded the rewards to the dollar. So $1, $2, $3, etc were all possible. :)

If anyone can find an extra copy of Prinny and can send it to me for a decent price it would be much appreciated! Couldn't find any around here I do have Baroque(PS2 or Wii) I could trade for it tho.
 
This Friday and Saturday (1/28 - 1/29) Toys R Us has an additional 30% off all clearance games.

I also found Beatles Rock Band (XBOX 360) on sale for $9.98 at my local store (Roseville, CA). Unfortunately, they wouldn't take an additional 30% off that price. The manager said the two promos were separate and wouldn't stack.
 
How is TRU with returns/rebuying? I picked up a few clearance games last week that I haven't opened and wouldn't mind returning and rebuying them with the extra 30% off.
