Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

There's a ton of games listed on the clearance section of TRU.com, most have the telltale $.98 pricing, so if you can't find one of these in-store then maybe you could find it on the website.

Generally, they will take it off clearance and move it to the lower MSRP. Actually, that's sometimes a bad thing as it means when they have the next 20% or 25% off clearance, you won't get the benefit of that .98 ending.

Thanks kay. I had a lot of people who still wanted copies of Uncharted after the price hike, so I figured I'd ask if they dropped it back to the clearance price or not.

I guess the next best option for those wanting it is the ESA pack still.

TRU may be having another sale on clearance games on Wednesday.

The Wednesday ad on the front page shows "Save over 50% off original prices on clearance games". The ad shows a few Wii games, only one I remember off hand is Twilight Scene It for the Wii that was clearanced down a long time ago. I doubt it will be an extra 50% off with how stingy TRU has been, granted they have way too much clearance. So it would just be a "oh we have clearance games" listing or they might be 25-30% off additional like they've been doing off and on for the past 6 months.

Just noticed that Yakuza 3 did indeed go down to $39.99 at my TRU. Clearance games seemed kind of lacking at my TRU.

I knew that TRU has video games clearance, but I didn't know it was so good as Target (5 stars).... the problem with me is that I never found any good games (just old ones) and after the store near to me (5 miles), the next one is about 25 miles away which is not good....

Looks like a lot of the Toys R Us clearance games have dropped again. Noticed $9.98 prices for Bayonetta, C&C, Dark Void for PS3 and X-men Wolverine, Wacky World of Sports for Wii last night. I'm sure others have dropped too, but I didn't have time to search everything...

There's also B1G1 40% off for all games $19.99 or under until Friday, so even cheaper if you buy in pairs.

Does ths mean other clearance games are back to regular clearance prices, not re-clearanced and thus restarting the clearance cycle. A good check might be Wii WWII Aces for 4.00, my TRU still have 4 of them.
