Damn...Rodimus Prime Ford GT is AWESOME.

Hey ZMonkay, I sent you a PM about how the MP Megatron was shipped (UPS Ground, USPS, or...?)...
So can anyone confirm Softimus Prime in store yet?
There were two in the Kissimmee, FL Kmart this morning at the $10.99 price point.

Also, my local Kmart did not have the Optimus voice changer in the system despite having two on the shelf - wouldn't ring up either at the self-check or register. Theoretically, if you are in the same situation, you could name a reasonable price to the cashier. In my case, I had the customer service desk check with the toy department, and it was $31.99.

I felt kinda splurgy, so I picked it up. My head is a little big (many generic adult caps don't fit me), but Optimus fit fine. It's a little uncomfortable with my glasses on, so I've only been using it in small doses. The voice changing is a more of generic robotic voice than any particular character. Depending on what you say, it can come out either amusing or creepy.

The nearby Target also put out a box of deluxe movie figures next to a rather large empty space. It seems likely they were preparing for a new product line, and positioning suggested more movie toys.

Thanx gonna have to hit Kmart.

Anyone with info on the video game version Swindle that I found on the shelf? It was the only one and wondering if it's shortpacked?

Wow, isn't the Robo-Vision Optimus Prime retail for like 50 bucks? That's some deal!

No, the robovision is the voyager sized prime with a exclusive metallic paintjob for target. The one your thinking of is the leader sized prime, which should be 39.99.

There's 2 Hasbrotoyshop.com exclusive Star Wars figures now available that were launched at Celebration IV this weekend in California in limited quantity. That 25% off coupon and free shipping still work?

I was just at Starwars Celebration today (friday) and they had a card that gave you 10% off if you used the code "celebration". I don't have the card here at the pace I'm at but I'm 90% sure the code was "celebration".

It's better then nothing if the 25% off code doesn't work anymore.

FYI: Target stores $1.00 sections have some Transformers movie stuff. They got a pack of pencils, coloring books, book bags, magnets, tattoos and stickers.

I got my Transformers Monopoly today. It is only so-so. The Chance and Community chest cards have to be read through a little red fliter card, and they are pretty hard to see. Also, the pewter figures are smaller than I expected. They are still detailed enough that you know who is who, but they are tiny.

I also want to let you guys know that the classics Devastator was on clearance at my Wal-Mart for $13 last week. It was odd that they would red tag it already since they never had them before last week (how do you clearance something you never had to begin with?) but it was nice to get it for cheap. As always, YMMV.

As someone said on the black 360 accessories Wal-Mart deals thread, apparently if something isn't planogrammed (a spot on the shelf or peg specifically for a product), then they clearance them. So that may be what happened.

Rumor: Hasbro is planning on releasing MP Star Scream

11_21011_20f2d81089c71b4.jpg

Pictures have been posted over at ACToys forum by Ray Toy of what could be a US release of MP Starscream in his G1 color scheme! While it is unconfirmed at this time if and where this item will be released, ACToys forum has always provided photos of figures before any one else sees them, so stay tuned!

Eric, i totally agree with you on the TF Monopoly comments... Well, at $20, i still kinda feel a little ripped off. Well, being able to TF Monopoly is still priceless, so i can't really complain :)

Yeah, what's up with the lieel pewter figures, even my daughter find the figure too small. I have hard times to spot the game piece when we were playing it...

We have 100+ boxes sitting in the back of the TRU I work at right now. June 2nd we are allowed to put them out. We will be taking down the Spiderman 3 showcase and putting up the Transformers showcase. We just got a few Transformer bikes in aswell (One Optimus Prime and one Bumblebee).

Any idea when this stocking is supposed to occur? I may try hitting up some stores when they open on Saturday (have stuff to do later in the day) but am afraid I'll be there before it all gets put out.
Where can I find any newer transformer toys now though?
Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, Hasbrotoyshop.com, bigbadtoystore.com

I'll definitely be picking up the Masterpiece Starscream in G1 colors if its true. I got the Takara version which is pretty nice.

Do we know what's covered by the "10% off other selected Transformers" in the Target ad for Sunday? I'm hoping "selected" means "all," but then it wouldn't be much of a selection process.

I can't decide if I'm going to open any of the movie merchandise I get. I plan to get all of the movie figures at target on Sunday, but a part of me wants to open them and check out the transformations....

All the stocking should be done in the morning before each TRU opens on 6/2 (unless your local TRU is really inefficient), and probably everywhere else as well (since 6/2 is the official national release for the toys). The graphics for the TF feature shop in my store were set up today, and the toys go out tomorrow morning. Gonna bring a mop and bucket to soak up all the drool...

my haul for the release day:
scorponok & wreckage is 1:1
SS is 2:1
i skipped on getting the unleashed bumblebee and the WM exclusive BB vs Baricade... over budget ;) lolol
8299309001076108_Main400.jpg

btw the "classics Devastator clearance=13$" was not in effect at the WM near me....it was still scanning for 29.96 :whistle2:( sucks .....can any1 confirm this anywhere else?

holy shit it took me 30 minutes to transform Starscream!!! back in the day the original star scream took less then 15 seconds to transform from jet to robot mode!!!

I bought blackout, but shit thats another 30 minutes.

Nice big score today. All 8 Deluxes, Leader Prime, Ratchet, Starscream, Blackout (already have Ironhide), Robovision Prime, both transforming plushies (Slumblebee and Softimus Prime are simply AWESOME), Optimash Prime (Mr. Potatoe Head).

Already have all the Real Gears out now, so I'll have to wait for my order of Legends figures from HasbroToyShop.com (CATWEB10 still works for 10% off orders) and Leader Megs.

Didn't see any Leader or Voyager Megs anywhere today though :(

If anyone doesn't feel like hunting, HasbroToyShop.com has most of this stuff in stock. Use coupon CATWEB10 for 10% off. Or use coupon TRNS627 (get it, today's date is 6-2-07) for free shipping, but you need to spend $25.00 or more to use it.

And order $25.00 or more from HBTS.com also gets 2 nice, large magnets free.

Still waiting on most of my order from their 25% off sale, although the movie deluxes I ordered from them only shipped yesterday. They're reliable, but they take forever.

Well since I'm mental about the condition of my figures and I'm waiting for a few sales I didn't get as much as I wanted to, but I did score this:

Bumblebee Unleashed
Robovision Optimus
Starscream
Ironhide
All the little Legends sized figures or whatever they're called now.
Bumblebee beamer (a nightlight, but basically a cheap head statue)
Got the Optimus one too, but it's going back.
Transformers Stratego
All the Robovision except the handheld game system

Never saw the Titaniums, which I wanted, and passed on Blackout and Scorponok since I'll wait for the two pack. Still need Wreckage, Swindle, and Bonecrusher out of the deluxes.

Also, managed to get a bunch of white cases for Wii games for a penny each at Target.

I just picked up Starscream and Blackout deluxes, as the best out of a truly "uggh" lineup. Passed on Ratchet and Ironhide. Does Ironhide even roll - I can't imagine so with those giant cannons under the chassis - BIG dissapointment. Ratchet I will probably pick up. It was a toss up between him and Starscream. Didn't want to get too many, especially after seeing them up close.

Optimus Leader class...don't know what to say about that one, but after the original and the 20th anniversary/masterpiece edition, all the other versions of Optimus are utter garbage, this one included. 20th Anniversary Optimus has totally ruined all other so called Optimuses, and toys for that matter, for me.

Saw all the little personal electronics transformers, most were pretty "meh", but was thinking about getting the Laserbeak/Buzzsaw looking one.

I saw the 2 pack Scorponok and Blackout, now that one was very cool and was thinking about picking it up, but opted for the regular Blackout for now. I will probably pick the 2 pack up later. Scorponok definitely looked good and he was the one I was expecting to be the worst. Great colors/details/paint on him IMHO.

They had a few of the Titaniums, but nothing really caught my eye. Megatron's titanium looked uber lame...what is he supposed to be in vehicle mode, some sort of alien starship bat out of hell? Haven't we had enough of those since Scourge and Cyclonus?

On the non-deluxe one, they only seemed to have these horrible looking "ages 4 and up" vehicles - in the same sort of packaging as the Scorponok pic posted above, but these looked really pathetic. I didn't see a Scorponok one so I'm hoping it's a different line, only a really lousy Bumblebee and Barricade that I can remember. Oh and a Jazz...bad enough it looks like he's a freaking Pontiac for the movie - how humiliating, but I guess GM paid the big bucks and Hasbro whored themselves out. The Barricade/Bumblebee didn't look like the ones in the Walmart 2 pack posted above. Are these some more of the awful Junior Transformers meant for toddlers or something, or are these the official figures?!? I didn't see any other figures in that style of packaging (non boxed)...so these must be them, unfortunately.

Too bad all of the toys looked for the most part pretty damn cheap and fragile. The plastic appears to be the really cheap, low grade kind as well.

God what I wouldn't give for more Alternator type Transformers - realistic and with at least a bit of die cast metal to them. Or better yet, the originals (or at least the original robots in updated vehicles but not the cheesy 'futuristic' or 'alien' ones). Hasbro could make so much money if they got the right engineers and spent the money on quality instead of mass producing. We collectors would pay the premium for higher quality Transformers that paid homage to the originals. This way, despite the smaller production runs, they could keep the profits up or even increase them.

Imagine Jazz as a current Porsche GT or Cayman. An updated Sunstreaker Lambourghini, Bluestreak as a new Z or G35...maybe one as a BMW X5.

These could be the tightest toys of all time, as they once were!

Picked up Unleashed BumbleBee, Robovision Optimus, x2 Optimash Prime, Deluxe Barricade, Robot Heroes Optimus vs Ravage, Robot Heroes Grimlock vs (i forgot). Want to pick up Ironhide, (the helicopter), and Starscream.
