Don't re-up until you see next months coupons. If there's something you like, go re-up in the store, you'll get a new welcome packet and a magazine right there. If there's nothing in next months magazine then you saved a month and can wait until the next month. The only reason I'd up without looking at the mag is if I did a lot of trade-ins. Which it doesn't seem like you do.

well, you probably missed the july/august issue. And not getting your sept issue before they go live isn't a red flag. Lots of people don't get them early. There's a way to check your magazine status on the @gamer website but I've forgotten how to check that.
 
they originally signed me up for digital for some reason and i didnt get the last coupons, so i changed it to physical. got mag & coupons the other day.
was thinking about Lollipop and Mass Effec3t,possibly Prototype 2 but if they are only gonna b $20 idk if i should get them or wait. and ive never played Battlefields..im more of a solo player not online as i spend enough time w public..are any of these worth it.
 
Lollipop Chainsaw is meaningless fun. I didn't find the point in replaying it once I beat it. Battlefield 3 is great if you like to work as a team. It's not like your COD games where one person can run and gun and win it for the team. It takes strategy and using your head in the Battlefield series. I'd pick it up for $10 without taking a second thought.

I need some help here guys, i'm confused on what to do. I want to get a copy of prototype 2 but I also want to wait for it to get cheaper. I wait for it to get cheaper and then use the coupon but i'm afraid that it will be out of stock by the time that it does. Any suggestions? I might be interested in lollipop chainsaw and ME3 if they get lower. Is there any way I can get the held onto until the sale ends?
 
You can always get a price adjustment if it does go on sale. It's a 30 day window for returns/price adjustment. 60 days for reward zone silver members.

thanks. as i said i usually dont do multiplayer..i have a few games to work on know, usually dont keep many around. Kingdom of Amular i got w the last coupons and im working on it...debating on trading it for $5 and get 100% extra so i will get wat i paid for it if i do
 
The MAC games are ringing up 14.99. The coupon automatically adjusts the price to $0. I picked up STFU. I also picked up W2, P2 & BF3. My store usually has multiple copies of everything, but the shelves were empty today. I grabbed the last copies of BF3 & W2. I wanted to wait for P2, but I decided to purchase it because of the low stock. There were only 2 copies of Prototype 2 for :360: and 1 for :ps3: I ordered the Tera CE from another store (OMS). While the clerk went to find the order, a guy came in and picked up the last 2 copies of Prototype 2 & began complaining loudly upon his discovery of an empty slot where BF3 had been. I hope this is not an issue store wide. GL to all trying to get the games they want.

It is odd to me that BB raised the price on Lollipop. I cannot recall this happening before.

i believe i responded to your post last night regarding this. this is the first time i saw price increase, especially during the month when the gamers coupon goes into effect
 
BF3 is tempting but I really wish the coupon worked for the pc version. I am hoping Prototype 2 CE drops to $50... $30 seems kind of expensive.

Same here. Got the last copy of battlefield and there were only 2 copies of prototype for 360 left.
 
I went to pick up a copy of BF3. Nothing was on the shelf so I asked the "media specialist" if they had any copies. He came back with one in about 30 seconds and apologized. We then had about a 10 minutes conversation on the Halloween movie series because I also bought a DVD collection for $4.99. For whatever reason, the guys who work at the BB near me are ultra cool.
 
Just bought the collector edition of Prototype 2 (360), used the coupon with no override necessary. Hope y'all get in on this.

Traded in $107 worth of games, picked up BF3, Red Faction Guerilla ($6.99 clearance), and the Uncharted double pack, which I traded in Uncharted for $12.60 to even out the price of the double pack. Had a bunch of copies of everything out, but I am very much hoping for a ME3 and Lollipop Chainsaw drop too.

So yesterday I finally got my email for the september issue(digital), but when I go and login to view the magazine it says:
Login failed. Please enter a valid account number.

Any help? I kinda want those coupons.....

PD: I logged in to my account info with the same number and my last name and it worked.....but it won't let me see the magazine...

 
don't think my local best buy stocks Mac games :whistle2:/ -- I could drive an extra 40mins, but not sure if it would be completely worth it. It says "Ship To Store" for me but I don't think I've ever seen mac games in there (they don't even sell macbooks there because of the dumb Apple Store proximity rule)
 
picked up cod 4, rage, swtfu: all free. bought prototype 2 for 20$ and matched TRU and got sleeping dogs and darksiders 2 for 60. damn fine day. and got to keep all of my coupons!!!! :D

You can use the coupon for all three for free. Dang it.
 
Went in today, no G@mer magazine in sight, signed up 6 weeks ago, still no mag in my mailbox.
Kid at the counter assured me if I.bring my coupons inlater I'll be refunded the difference.
Walked out with P2 Blackwatch , and ME3 for $100 in
Hopefully best buy gives me my $50 when the coupons come. Saved my receipt.

I went to store 493, potomac yard. They didn't have BF3 on shelf so I asked if they had any. Guy said he'd check the "warehouse" (the back). He found a copy there; I went to cashier and gave coupon. It rang up as $30. So 0 after coupon; I didn't even pay tax.

Good luck fellow cheap-asses!

Oh man I only used it on one and all 3 were there :whistle2:#. Got BF3 and SWFU, they had P2 CE but it had an awful spider all over it :\ . Also happened to pass by Sears and got Enchanted Arms with graphic novel for $5
 
Didn't see any copies of BF3 at my local store at first, computer said they had 2 in stock. Searched through the whole section and found it hidden away. Looks like someone was trying to hide it before the sale started, sucks for them :)
 
A good day for me:
BF3 - $10
ME3 - $20 (only 4 copies at my store, didn't want to chance it on a later price drop)
Witcher 2 - $20 (reward zone deal, last one in stock)
Last Story - $50 (only had 2, and it was too pretty to pass up)
Total of $180 of games that I got for about $115, and had store credit left over from some trade-ins to boot. So ultimately $5 out of pocket!

I had the same problem as you. I contacted customer service and they said that everything re:my account checked ok......after numerous tries, I finally gave up and switched back to print.
