Definitely recommend Cloudberry Kingdom. Lots of fun. I thought it was going to be a Super Meat Boy-style tough-as-balls platformer, but it's not. It's a random platformer generator, where every level can be beaten.

Here are the new deals for this week:

Darksiders II - $19.99 - 50% Off - Ends 7/8

Jeopardy! - $19.99 - 50% Off - Ends 7/8

Wheel of Fortune - $19.99 - 50% Off - Ends 7/8

New releases:

BBU! - $3.99

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse - NES - $4.99

Monkey Pirates - $4.99

My Arctic Farm - $7.99

My Jurassic Farm - $7.99

Shovel Knight - $14.99

Rejoice for Shovel Knight! They are also releasing Boxing + Baseball on Wii Sports Club today. Bundled together for $9.99. Good on them for not trying to sell them separately for $10 a piece. Boxing is presumably played with 2 Wii Motion +'s. I wonder if that impact how it plays significantly.

Don't suppose Castlevania III has the Japanese soundtrack?

By the way, I got Shovel Knight a day early, and it is awesome and everyone should buy it.  Even better than I'd thought/hoped/dreamed.

So I'm not actually finding the new Wii Sports games anywhere on the eshop. I saw it reported as a part of today's update from multiple sources. Anyone know if maybe its supposed to release tomorrow or something?

I am so excited that Capcom is releasing Demon's Crest for Wii U virtual console! One of my favorite SNES games ever. I still haven't beaten the secret boss though :|

You download the game from the eshop for free and then buy the passes from within the eshop link in game. I checked a few hours ago and baseball & boxing were not up yet.

I was pretty sure I bought previous DLC just through the eshop. Either way I checked within the game a little while ago and nothing was there. I guess they are taking their time getting it up. Will check back tomorrow.

It's not out yet:

Can someone explain all the hype around Shovel Knight for me?
Well, I bought it on my Wii U today and let me just say it's one of the best games I've ever played. I've had so much fun with it so far. I grew up playing NES and have played a lot of games since so trust me when I say if you like 2d platformers with good story and tight controls you will probably get far more than the $14.99 worth out of it. It's just got unique gameplay elements that add so much to the game.

I'm on the fence on Rayman Legends. As a person who played Tropical Freeze religiously, should I get this game?
Both Origins and Legends are fantastic. I played both on Vita but Legends is definitely worth your time. I tend to avoid digital buys over $10 but otherwise $20 is a great price for Legends.

If you want to know about Origins on 3DS, imagine if the Vita version didn't look nearly as well and ran worse to make it the worst version out there. Legends is best on Wii U and includes most, if not all, of the levels from Origins, so that's the obvious pick-up.

Excellent. Sounds like something ill look into. I knew nothing of the game but have heard so much hype in the past few days

Yeah I played the Origins demo on 3DS and couldn't believe how bad it was, even after all the delays. Lower resolution, inconsistent frame-rate... it felt downright unplayable compared to other versions.

I'll probably get Legends on the Wii U once it's sub-$15.

Yeah I think $10 is my sweet spot for Rayman Legends.

Probably would have been a different story if it was released on time last year when there was a lot less to play.

Does anyone here plan on finishing up Wii Sports Club digitally? I already bought Tennis for $4.99 at Gamestop during Black Friday weekend and Nintendo actually paired Boxing + Baseball on the eShop for a total of $9.99.. 2-for-1. Then if you buy both Bowling and Golf for $9.99 a piece that would put everything at $34.96.

Factor in the 20% eShop cards from Best Buy months ago, used to pay for Bowling, Golf and Boxing + Baseball, and you're at $23.97.. + $4.99 Tennis = $28.96.. - $4.00 earned in Deluxe Digital Promotion points = $24.96. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Decent deal, no?

I'm sure there will be better deals for the physical version but, personally, I feel this would be better to have digitally. I like booting this up and it's right there ready to go. I REALLY like that box art though... LOL. What to do... what to do...  :whistle2:(

I would say that digital is better for Wii sports U, this is a game like Wii fit U that you want to have on the console and one that you will most likely never get rid of. In my case I don't really want to play anything other than bowling or tennis so getting these cheaper when they were on sale at GS was the way to go for me.

Is that correct for WiiU Retail: One Piece: Unlimited World Red ?

I thought that was going to be download only, but would prefer to get a physical retail copy if someone is going to carry it.

Also, what is the difference between the PS3 and WiiU versions of One Piece: Unlimited World Red ?

I want to support WiiU, especially if it uses the gamepad in a cool way, but where can I find a definitive answer?

I'm pretty sure its download only. I was going to purchase this on wii u but all sites seem to indicate it is not retail. preordered the 3ds version instead since $20 less than ps3 version. I probably will cave in and by the ps3 version too but after price drop, just so I have it in HD.

I believe gameplay/story wise they are the same game, as for how they use the gamepad im not sure. If I had to guess though, its probably going to be like the 3ds version. The thing is Japan never got the ps3, wii u and vita versions, so there wont be info on differences until it releases.

I was surprised to see that the free game from the Club Nintendo Mario Kart 8 promo also gives you 599 points for the Digital Deluxe Promo, so I had two codes waiting for me today that got me Shovel Knight for $6.

As far as I'm aware all WiiU game codes give credit for it since it's counted as having bought a digital copy of the game. Think it might even be mentioned somewhere in the FAQ for the DDP. Club Nintendo games (actual WiiU ones) have counted as have the digital games that have come with the systems if you have any of those sitting around unclaimed. Real shame there's no more DDP at the end of the year.

Thanks. I have the 3DS one pre-ordered (GS said it might be limited run... LOL), but will probably wait for reviews and comparisons before deciding on PS3 or WiiU version.

What's the big deal about that game? Would it be good for someone who doesn't follow the series?

My son loves One Piece. Originally Red was a Japan only release unless a prior (crappier) One Piece sold a certain amount. That other one was actually a limited edition numbered game with a special case insert. This one is not any of those things, but our "reward" for buying the inferior game. In any event, I want to support bringing full retail edition releases of niche games.

I have no idea if the game is good or not. I do think, though, that there is some back story in the game (if I'm to believe the Gamestop guy, who actually is a One Piece fan).

I haven't used codes very much on the eShop, so I wasn't expecting. I'm hoping that they renew DDP for a few more years since it's the best thing they have going right now for the eShop.
