Yeah totally. I saw that joke before and have been waiting anxiously for the game to release so I could come post it in one of the most unfrequented threads in CAG. Or I could have just heard of the game for the first time today. One of those.

Yeah I really slept on the game. Played the Wii version but never got a chance to play the GBA game. It's really fun. Loving the simple controls and how wacky all the minigames are. I think I'm liking this even more than the Wii version because it doesn't use motion control. Pleasant suprise.

Not to troll, but Duck Tales is also on PC and doesn't have massive requirements. I think I bought my PC copy for $2.49 from Amazon and redeems on Steam. Also, isn't tied into Nintendo's pathetic account system, oh wait.

NES Remix 2 looks good, but I am really just waiting for Shovel Knight!!! It's a shame it was originally supposed to release 3/31, now who knows.

I just purchased a Wii U (mainly for the wife who was wanting Wii Fit U).

What's a good starter list of Wii/Wii U exclusive digital games? I own a 360/PS3 so I've got those exclusive games covered. I've done a little research on the better rated Wii U eShop games, but there's quite a few out there so it's rather intimidating.

I understand some of the older games are a must (Super Mario World, Mega Man 2, Earthbound, etc). I just figured I'd ask some of you guys about the games only available on the Wii/Wii U!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly? None.

That may not be the answer you want but there you go. NES Remix is ok I guess, I'd have classified it as a poor man's Warioware or a neat little fanmade game, but it's hardly the great star of the eshop everyone makes it out to be. And at $15 it's a joke. It's more or less the same story with Dr. Luigi; to it's credit it is a fun puzzler, something I could easily recommend at $5 or maybe even $10, but Nintendo constantly seems to over-value their own crap, especially when the NES Dr Mario is there for $5. Nintendo really doesn't have the equivalent of a Jorney, Fat Princess, or Tokyo Jungle on their eshop.

I can list a couple good 3DS eshop games if you don't mind the account restrictions, but WiiU doesn't really have anything exclusive that I'd label as a "must play" on the digital side, especially if you've already played the NES/SNES classics. I do enjoy a quick game of Zen Pinball here or there though :)

Alright, well I guess I'll primarily stick with the classics then. These downloads are tied to an account right, not console specific? Just wanting to make sure!

Just exclusives among the consoles (not counting 3DS/Vita)?

Earthbound - Great RPG from the SNES that is only available on the Wii U at a reasonable price.

Little Inferno - Fireplace simulator/puzzle/adventure game thing that's short but has a really cool ending to it.

Nano Assault Neo - Dual-Stick Shooter that looks great, though the camera can get weird at times.

Toki Tori 2+ - Great puzzle platformer built around simple mechanics in a Super Metroid-esque shell.

Unepic - Parody of D&D in a Symphony of the Night/Super Metroid shell.

Wii Sports Club - Three of the original Wii Sports games with an HD upgrade that adds online play.

Most of the other good eShop games (Zen Pinball 2, Trine 2, The Cave, etc.) are also on PS3/Xbox 360, which makes the list look short. You can easily wait on Little Inferno, Nano Assault Neo, and Toki Tori 2 to go on sale before getting them since they're frequent sale games.

That's actually not true as of one of the recent firmware updates, as accounts can be transferred to another console a day or two after they're removed from the original console. Purchases should go with it, though these guys are doing some tests to see what the limits are for transferring.

Hmmm, I might have to bite on SMB3.  It's my personal favorite game out of the entire line of mario games (with super mario world and super mario kart as runners up).  Have any of the super mario titles on VC gone on sale before?  I may just wait as this title is a nostalgia title for me.

The eggs aren't clickable or anything so I doubt it. Would be neat if they gave Yoshi or Yoshi's Cookie as a free no one should buy this for 5 bucks so here you go Wii U owner thing.
