Hey y'all. I'm in the market for a Windows phone but I'm on the T-Mobile network. I really don't want a Nokia but I would love an HTC. I heard there's supposed to be a Win 10 M9 coming to the States but I haven't heard any news since February. Anybody heard something recent about it?

And if not the HTC then I did also hear about a Surface phone coming out. Just a rumor or really happening?

I have to agree. It's very laid back and is a great way to waste a few minutes. However, you'll probably blow through the 250 levels in no time.

Missed out on this because I didn't think Red Stripe deals were coming back and slowed down how often I check this thread. Did they change the days the Red Stripe deals switch? Wasn't it WED at some point? Now it's THU night/FRI morning? Or am I just all sorts of confused haha.

This is why MS pulled the Red Stripe deals. So that they can revamp the rotation of games that get sales! Right? Right?! :pray:

 
Halo Spartan Assault and Halo Spartan Strike are the red stripe games for the week, $3 each I believe (Already had Spartan Assault so can't confirm price). 

 
Red Stripe didn't really go away. They have been updating the Xbox games later than usual. Lines wasn't put in the Red Stripe section until Friday or Saturday last week. Some weren't added until Monday or Tuesday.

Doom and Destiny Advanced launched not long ago for a discounted price of $1. I think the introductory period is over and the price is up to $3. Both a sequel and reboot of the original Doom and Destiny. This game is promising a ton of updates and I don't think they'll be able to deliver. I hope they prove me wrong.

Kind of gave up on Brave Frontier. You can level up more in a week during special event than over a month of not special event.

Disappointing is a word I associate with Game Troopers. Full screen pop up ads are annoying as shit and shouldn't be allowed.

 
Based on everything I've read about Doodle God Blitz, there is no way to complete it without spending hundreds of dollars, unlike most freemium games where you can still complete it free but it takes much much longer to do.

I have no idea how it has a marketplace rating average of 4.5 stars when pretty much every review you see is 1 star claiming it is a total ripoff.

Freemium games seem to cost more than consoles these days. Seriously, who is buying those $199.99 "Best Value" bundles???

I think it depends on if the daily rewards continue past day 5. When it first came out they didn't. There's only 1 achievement that nobody has yet at TA, so maybe that is the only expensive one.

 
Anybody playing Dragon Mania Legends? I just got into it a few days ago and could use some friends to borrow dragons from and donate gifts to for the achievement.  I have 1 friend which I assume is generic and everybody gets when they begin playing.

I was wrong about this. There are 2 that are unobtainable. Even if they were obtainable, it would only cost $10 to complete the game.

I tried playing it when it first came out, but my progress stopped saving after the first week.

Is there a way you can friend people with your Microsoft account or do you have to use Facebook? Mine's a totally fako Facebook I just use for the game anyway.

I'm not sure. I use a fake FB profile as well haha I'll add yours with mine and we should be able to go from there.

Although this gives me an idea...why don't we group everybody's gamertags so when it comes to these WP games, we have friends in case it helps with a certain game. A few of those village builder types have a 'social' currency. If anybody wants to add me, my GT is M4V3R1CKfan11

You can complete it, minus the 2 unobtainables for free. Just once it says you are out of glow STOP!!. I was trying to bypass it, like I am sure many others and if you make a match without any glow you get a locked element that you need to pay for. If you wait out the time (or adjust phone time forward a day, launch, adjust time back, relaunch game) then your glow will return. There has been 0 need for me to purchase anything. Luckily they gave me the 500 (lightning bolts?) to mess around with.

 
What in the World got updated with more achievements. Won't be able to try it out until tomorrow or late tonight. Might have to replay the game a 3rd time if the new content is locked at the start.
 
What In The World? has a free unlock all levels right now. It's probably a limited time thing, so best to jump on it now.

Pretty shocked the new update added more achievements.

I completed the game easily without spending any cash. You just leave it for a little while so your mana recharges then unlock some more combinations. Took me less than 2 days to blitz through it. Now I have the two unobtainable achievements to worry about.

I am in the minority as well then. :)

It's funny how much time I spend on this game even though I completed it a long time ago. Not being able to get the dragon of the week last week really pissed me off though, so I am thinking I'm going to scale back a little.

You guys are crazy ahead then. I added Motoki and his dragon was almost too good to be true. Here I am proud of my lvl 16 dragon and 2nd place finish in the second bronze league just a few days ago :cool: .

Looking at the achievements, I don't think I'm putting the game down anytime soon, but I'm taking this current division cycle off since I went in pretty hard on that last one.

Sucks that What in the World? doesn't keep your progress...I have to start from scratch to clean it up. Thank God for the cheat sheets on TA.

LOL! you don't want to look at my dragon then. I have a level 29 Tiger with maxed out stats. I am also sitting on about 3.5 million food that I haven't used to level up my dragon because I don't want to screw up the balance of the dungeon.

That's the annoying part. If you level one up you pretty much have to catch some others up too. Otherwise all the enemies in the dungeon will be set to your top dragon and you'll have the rest several levels below. I kind of squeak by with zapping the enemies with Wind and then putting up Earth shields on my team, but it gets tricky sometimes. Easier to have everyone close to the same level but dang that food gets expensive.

I have been playing Dragon Mania Legends as well.  Just have to grind out the last few achievements at this point, but I had fun with the game.  I added a bunch of friends from trueachievements and their high level dragons helped me get by most of the levels so that is a good route to go so you can save your food up.  Add me if you are playing:  https://www.facebook.com/dominic.w.tucker

Is anyone playing Age of Sparta?  I am trying to get the last few achievements in that game, but cannot get anyone to attack my city to get the revenge achievement.  If anyone is playing that and a high level I'd appreciate the help and can help you get your achievement as well.

I breeze through the dungeon every day, that's why I don't want to mess with any of my dragons. I have two teams one is 28/29/26 and the other is 26/26/26. I use the first team if the average of the enemy dragons is around 29. Otherwise I have no problem beating anything else with my 26s. I don't even come remotely close to losing any matches.

The key is having the right combination of dragons. My first dragon casts shield the first round, then wind the second round. Dragon 2 & 3 both have lightning to remove positive buffs from the enemy. Dragon 3 has remove negative effects healing to remove bad stuff from my dragons or heal them up if needed at the end of each round. Second wave gets blasted with dragon fury then I finish them off with a couple of mass attacks. Ridiculously easy. Make sure your dragons are maxed out at the academy. All six of my dragons have level 6 skills across the board. Level 6 poison infection also comes in really handy.

I just sent you a facebook friend request. The problem is that I haven't been able to see any new friends I add in the game. I think I've added so many that the game doesn't recognize them anymore. I feel bad for the people who send me daily gifts and I can't reciprocate. They must think I'm a jerk. :)

That game is evil. I had a horrible time grinding out the achievements. Best way to get the revenge achievement is to get a friend to attack you. See my guide on TA on how to do it. If you can't find someone to help I can lend you a hand.

Even if you aren't able to gift it's still useful because I can hire your dragons for friendship points. :)

Yea, thanks for that guide, I was trying that method out last week with a friend, but every time we attacked each other our Defense values were over 2000 even though we had no units left. Not sure why it was working that way.

What is your name in the game? I will invade your city. Just make sure to use the trick to perform revenge attacks multiple times.

I don't know what their problem is with that but yeah that's how it works I guess. If you use a referral code you get a friend via that even if you don't have Facebook tied to the game but you can only do it once and then after that you need some kind of Facebook account to add friends.

The Android version lets you add people via Google or Facebook so not really sure with they couldn't manage that with Microsoft.

 
Tiny Troopers 2 is now on Win 8 as of last week or the week before.  Thought it had been posted, but couldn't find this thread.

Also, Runemals is available for free on WP.  It's by Gametroopers...

Trucking 3D! (Lots more words in title...) is available for free on Win8 and WP8 from Gametroopers.  Rumors of achievement glitches are circulating.
