Briquid Mini (WP8) is currently on sale for $0.99.

Pop up ad on Monster Go! said it was today only.

Found out about this on the Android thread but the sale is also going on for Windows 8/10/phone.

Also, it's a universal app, so for $1.99 you get both the mobile and desktop versions. They supposedly have cross-platform cloud saving too. It's just a shame there are no Xbox achievements.

By the way, for anyone looking to get a new Windows Phone, the Lumia 640 will be $30 at Best Buy for Black Friday this year.

Equalicious coming to WP8 with achievements for the price of $0. Should be arriving sometime this month

How do the movie rentals work? Do you have to watch it that day right after you pay, or does it give you a few days and you get to watch it once during that period?
You have 14 days from the time of purchase to start watching it. Once you start watching it you have 24 hours to watch it as many times as you can. I've rented movies with friends and if it was good watched it again before I went to sleep.

Be careful of renting it through your Xbox. The movie will sometimes automatically start playing. If you want to delay watching it you might be better off going through the Movies & TV section of the website.

Microsoft Store has the BLU Win JR LTE Unlocked phones on sale for $49.00 (50% off).

Is it worth it just for an extra phone to use around the house for internet and games only? I don't usually see unlocked phones this cheap; normally only GoPhones are that low without a plan.

I tried all through the holiday break but I could not upgrade my old Win 7 laptop to Win 10 so I could take advantage of the $0.10 deals.

Great deal for an unlocked phone, but I think I'd still lean towards the Lumia 640 LTE GoPhone (unlocked with a little hoopjumping).

I had the same issue. Took my old Dell E1505 almost 24 hours idling on the Windows Update screen to initiate the W10 upgrade. Finally finished the upgrade and grabbed almost all the games I wanted. Unfortunately I missed the timed Halo Spartan game sale.

FYI, there will be two more games made free for a day following these two.  Too bad I bought these two on sale for black friday.

New free Gametroopers game called Elements is out for WP.

Weird, I just checked and it shows as $2.99 on my phone.
Hmm. Carrier specific maybe? I'm on T-Mobile if that means anything. Game Troopers actually has a decent free collection (at least on my phone).

Edit: Briquid is the only P2P right now on my phone. ...which is tempting because it looks fun. For now I'm stuck playing Equalicious though. Basic math puzzles but they get fairly challenging.

As you guys may have already noticed, that achievement was removed and replaced with one that requires you to play the game seven days in a row.  Before updating my game, I went ahead and spent a dollar on the achievement to see what would happen after updating.  I was curious to see if I would possibly end up with an extra achievement, but in the updated game and on Xbox Live, it just shows up as the 7-day achievement.  Not sure if anyone cares, but I figured I would share my experience.

Trying to revive this thread. There's been a few new F2P Xbox enabled games the past couple of months:

Hamster Universe (Win 8 and WP8)  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/hamster-universe/9nblggh6b86p

Cosmo Run (Win 10 & WP10)  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/cosmo-run/9nblggh1zb7x

Bubble Guriko on WP

PSA: Minecraft Win 10 Edition goes up to $26.99 on January 18. Currently still $9.99

I love that Rocket RIot has 1000 Gamerscore.  Anybody know any other Windows Phone games with 1000G or is this a new thing?  I know it has to do with cross-platform play with Windows 10, but I don't see any others like it.

I just upgraded from a Nokia Lumia 925 to a Microsoft Lumia 950 so I'm on board with the Windows Mobile ship until it sinks completely.

All the UWP are doing it (Rocket Riot, Microsoft Solitaire Collection and 2020 My Country are the only ones that I know off, so far)

I'm also sinking with the WP ship, currently rocking the Microsoft Lumia 640 XL and in a year or so I will go with the HP Elite x3

Nice to see this thread alive.  I am also going down with the ship.  1520 runs Win 10 surprising well.  I considered a 950XL or 950 from the Microsoft store sale this week, but they sold out pretty fast.  I will get a 950XL probably if my 1520 dies.  Here is hoping Surface Phone actually....surfaces in 2017. :)

I picked up the Alcatel Idol 4S on release day, and it's a really nice phone. I use my phone for communication primarily and that is it. Rarely for apps or anything else so even though the app store should be better, it doesn't really bother me. I believe they are working on the ability to port android applications over directly to windows mobile, which would be an amazing accomplishment. As a network administrator running a hybrid exchange environment I like the built in office suite. I think it runs way better than outlook on apple or android platforms. Nice to see there is a thread for windows mobile, didn't even know CAG had one.

Wow! Great to see so much activity and enthusiasm in this thread. Let's Make Windows Phone Thread Great Again!

I just got a Lumia 950 this month, so I too am going down with the sinking ship. I've had a WP 7, WP 8, and now WP 10.

I ditched my Windows Phone years ago, but I had a lot of fun earning achievements on it back in the day. Bet I had about 100 XBL enabled games.

Anybody actually good at the Twins game? I can't get past 900-1000 score before the level just switches from manageable to insanely difficult.

Some countdown 'sales' are in the Win 10 store right now.

Quantum Break - $29.99 (down from $39.99)

Gunscape - $13.49 (down from $19.99)

Dead Rising 4 Deluxe - $59.99 (down from $79.99)

Those are the only live titles and nothing seems like a very good deal there anyways.

Here are the rest:

Oxenfree is still $4.99 (75% off)

Flight Unlimited 2K16 - $2.49 (75% off)

Hand of Fate - $12.49 (50% off)

The Turning Test - $13.99 (30% off)
