It should be able to run Games on Demand games, so that wouldn't be entirely true. LA Noire has a GoD release that is ~7GB

Amazon has the exclusive rights to all FX shows. They have the first two seasons of The Americans on Prime. I'm sure season 3 will be added soon.

11:06 and I had batman preloaded but yet it's still having to install for some reason. It's only at 3% now, hoping it hurries up along and doesn't have errors that cause it to take all night

I wish I could record clips in the Gears beta, I've been doing great in the short amount of time I played. I also wish it was like Gears 3 beta, which ran for about a month. Overall I had a fun time with the game and I will definitely pre order it on the marketplace as soon as it goes up

They complain about literally everything. I don't think there's ever been a game they didn't complain about...maybe GTAV, and that's just because they took every chance they could to try and rub it in console owners' faces...cool, you got it at 60fps? Well we got to play it two years ago and then upgraded on next gen.

I play on PC occasionally, but the community is awful

 
Re Dead or Alive Core Fighters, if I already have the disc version of Last Round that installed all of the DLC, is this basically a digital version of the game for $5? It will allow me to use everything installed off the disc?

 
4 for $5 a good deal, but I heard the game has a lot of performance issues. The pre-release demo thing rand horribly and heard the main game is the same.

Still not letting me play DMC :(

His Field of Dream score really felt like his best work. It's so distinct and yet simple. I know I've seen interviews where he's said that was his favorite score because he truly was allowed to go outside the Hollywood standard and not just have a loud soundtrack.

Shame to read that news.

The only issue I had recently with DOA is I had to re-download it and It's like a bazillion skins/costumes/characters seperated so it was one giant clusterfuck. Same deal when it launched. You had to wait like 10 minutes for the game to start even after it was installed (8 or so gigs).

After a few patches there is basically no more freezing issues. I haven't heard of any performance issues, but I could be wrong.

The netcode is slightly better then the 360.

The game looks... almost identical to the 360? They didn't add AA or anything. Your going to have a hard time telling the difference between the 360/X1 versions performance wise. I believe the 360 version was 60fps locked fighting and 30fps cutscenes. Same story here.

It's a great fighting game, but basically the X1/PS4 versions are GOTY editions with little to no effort required. It's not like the handsome collection where they put it at 1080p and got 60fps.

Was a decent deal for $40 if your a DOA fan and wanted it on next gen otherwise I'd wait till It's even cheaper. Say $20.

That exclusivity may have ended. Hulu also has been adding FX shows slowly over the last several months including all SOA seasons and just recently The Ship and The Strain.

I really wish they wouldn't keep pushing the idea that he dies. Either they're giving away an ending, which is lame, or they're trying to push a false ending, which is worse. Let us experience it, otherwise why put in a story if you're going to tell us it before we even get to play it.

I also wish they'd stop making those slow motion trailers. It's not a Zack Snyder game where every action sequence has slow motion punches.

Ugh. That is a bummer. I'm up with the baby right now and wouldn't mind playing it. I noticed a bunch of new dlc for it, even though the game is no longer on the store. Nothing amazing, red orbs, blue orbs, something called super Dante and super Nero ($5!) where you get unlimited devil trigger.

I hope they didn't screw up a great game.
 
First world problems - working for a gaming website for the past months I get tons of games for free having to review them. Thus I only really buy games that I didn't get for free at ridiculously low sale prices and with codes on sites like G2A - all this means however that my Xbox Live Rewards points are practically never growing.

You're better off tracking down the Ultimate Edition for $20. If you really want digital just buy the base game then install the DLC disc. Though I'm kind of doubting we'll be able to install DLC from disc on Xbone once backwards compatibility hits.

As for DMC4, the gems are basically money, and I'm pretty sure they were talking about the Super characters as normal additions, so it sounds like they added a bunch of microtransaction shit to scam retards. fucking Capcom.

The orbs and souls you just get from killing enemies and completing levels. The unlimited devil trigger, if I remember correctly, you unlocked after beating the game. I'm almost positive I unlocked that on the 360 version but I could be wrong.

Edit: The game is back up on the xbox store, I wonder if it works now. I just laid the baby back down and am going to sleep, otherwise I'd check.

I did an impulse buy on Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition tonight before the price went back up. I'm glad I did. I played it an hour tonight and so far it's super fun! $3.75 well spent!

Maybe this will revive FS's servers, hopefully. Too bad they didn't put the DLCs on sale, do they expect people to spend more money on that?

 
Just bought the Forza Horizon Season Pass for $4.99 before the sale ends. Seems like a good deal. I love the Dirt games, so a Rally expansion sounds great to me. Hopefully this was a good purchase.
