Sweet Baby Ray's, the Xbox One chatpad fits on the Elite controller with the paddles attached and the controller still fits in its case (with paddles off)!

 
I've been a gold member since 2006 rewards member since 2010 have over 300 digital 360 games and about 140 digital xbox one games. I think m$ know they can give me jack squat and I'll still buy stuff. my rewards account has been stuck at the same level for months despite spending a ton.

I bought gears ultimate on launch day also but didn't get around to playing it online until a few days ago (didn't do multi-player, just story mode) and received the codes on my XBO message a day after playing.

That's irritating. I've first played a month or two ago. Online Co-Op and multiplayer and haven't received my codes yet.

More than likely you buy your digital games on sale. They generally don't count towards your Punch Card purchases. I say this as a Day One Level 0 VIP. I feel a little like a semi-expert on the matter.
 
Took me 30 minutes but I think I'm going to quit Mad Max. Hella bored already, I got other stuff I'd rather play.

The only bonus thing I've ever gotten from Rewards was 1 month extra of Gold for being one of the first 10000 to sign up in Canada

Oh but the thunderpoon is so much fun. You gotta do you but it is a game that needs a little bit of time. Getting upgrades definitely ups the fun factor. But I love games like Mad Max. Open world checklist games are my thing.

I'm still playing it, I'll try to at least beat it. I loved Mad Max: FR and watched it like 3 times in a row. Maybe that's why, I'm kind of burned out on Mad Max lol. Open world games are my thing too though so I'll keep going.

That is funny you mentioned the movie. I saw it in the theater and I was kind of lost but I loved the visuals. After playing the game and then watching it again it actually made more sense to me. Like what factions are what. I loved it so much more the second time. I will warn you though. Definitely work on upgrading your car. There is a specific point in the story that will drive you crazy. I had a fully upgraded car and I was still having issues.

After playing some Batman, I see the genius of their season pass. Listing it as for a few dollars, or in the pass. Skins are cool, you start to think about it. Even though the meat of the content is crap, you get tempted.

Mad Max is good, but little bits of tedium throughout. It's how it was made, all the holding down of buttons when a push could do. Stupid hot air balloons.

Yeah it is definitely a movie you need to watch at least twice.

Thanks for all the Mad Max talk. I completely forgot to watch it and Ex Machina from my W10 rentals. Luckily those were the only 2 I missed and have a couple more days to watch the rest.

Stick with it, I felt the same way. I ended up completing it (don't want to do that again), but the story gets better and it does get better.

I've worked on hvac equipment at the owner of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. Pretty amazing home, and enormous indoor pool. Puts it all in perspective what a failure I am

Kinda sucks that the end of year sale doesn't start until the 22nd. PSN started their "holiday" sale yesterday and it will go on with new sales each week through the end of the year.

The reason it sucks is that I have worse storage issues in my PS4. But if a good deal comes along (and there are some good ones this week like Tales from the Borderlands season one for $3.75), I won't know if it will be coming in the XBL sale or if it'll be cheaper.

Damn Microsoft. Be friends with Sony and coordinate these things. ;)

I got Arkham Knight plus the season pass through Amazons "sale" and have been playing as Adam West Batman to make it a much better game.

Xbox and Microsoft are a global brand/company. If you take a US Centric only view, no there is no meaning to the 7th. In other parts of the globe they exchange gifts on January 6th or 7th for the feast of epiphany.

Also, they could simply make it countdown to the New Year. Then people can still buy stuff after Christmas and the date has worldwide significance.
