I don't think anyone really knows. Probably will last up until the servers stabilize, since hardly anyone can access the online servers for FH1.

Also if you have an xbox one you can access and buy the season pass in game, and it will pay with xbl credit (instead of cc/paypal like the website). I bought it in game last thursday no problem, it took however around 48 hours for the game to finally recognize I bought it and give me the rally xpac for free - another 1 gig download. FH1 servers are just fubar, while its no problem at all playing the game and getting achievements and stuff, doing anything related to game and store is on a 24-72 hour delay basically. For me the extra $30 means I'd get it on both PC and Xbox and get to play basically almost a full day early.

For you FH3 fans, whats your pre order plan? I have Ultimate FH3 on pre order from best buy, got in during the $10 promo deal, but I think I am going to cancel and bite the bullet and order digitally on xbox.com. The Best Buy version is NOT digital so you only get to play on xbox one, not PC. It also has to ship out so you can't preload and start playing at 9pm on 9/22. While it saves me $25-30 from digital, and I could always trade in the disc and buy the base game digitally and I think I'd "keep" the season pass, VIP pass, etc I doubt the game will have a price drop for at least 4 months.

I was hoping some sort of reward would kick in on rewards for FH3 but nothing really coming up for digital pre orders, I think :(

Luckily, he was an idiot and I was emailed of his attempts to change my email and password (which he couldn't do without access to my email), so I quickly changed all my shit back and changed the password to keep him out.

Hopefully no one else gets fucked with, but keep an eye out for emails from Ubi just in case.

See, I never understood the issue people have with this. The maps are only "too big" if you're playing conquest (especially the 64 players), but there are other modes which use smaller variants of the map. For example, you can play TDM, Squad Deathmatch, Domination (not sure if it's in BF1) if you want a condensed experience. Plus, you have the ability to spawn on the captured flags and squad mates, both of which brings you closer/into the action.

IMO, people just say something like this to complain about Battlefield without really knowing how the game works with things like its spawning system.

The FH1 1000 Club challenges aren't available with the server problems, so those achievements aren't available. I try to finish up a car's challenges before picking a new race and buying a new car for it, so I'm a little bummed about that.

For FH3, I've got the Ultimate edition digital pre-ordered at Gamestop. Hope I get the code so I can download it overnight on 9/23, or at least by the morning so I can download it while I'm at work.

Well, it's a little more serious than that. 99% of Ubi games you've bought for PC outside of Steam are tied to your Uplay account.

For example, I have Far Cry Primal and The Division on there, among others. And even if you buy the games on Steam, most of them require linking to your Uplay account. I assume that's the kind of shit this guy was after.

I get that some people already have all the cars so would only need the rally exp but still at the same price they can just buy the pass.

I think I heard you have to level up to level 15 in the beta.

You will unlock a medal and then get the credits.
 
Just got the last achievement in the final Fallout 4 DLC. Now I've got all the achievements in all 3 Xbox Fallout games with their DLC. It was a fun ride. Now to wait for Skyrim 2 or whatever it'll be.

I know that ARK has gotten some flack for the recent DLC but does anyone recommend it while it's on sale?

I know that ARK has gotten some flack for the recent DLC but does anyone recommend it while it's on sale?

I'm impressed at your dedication, I only ever finish Lego games like that and that's because my wife and kids help with those 100% finishes.

I bought the season pass a while back. Is there a list of what packs are included for the Season pass? When I try and download anything for Horizon off the XBOX store, it tries to charge me for all of it. I did get the rally expansion downloaded for free however.

October thru April packs and the Rally expansion are included. Buy the cars thru the in game marketplace for free, do not use the Xbox Live Marketplace.

FORZA HORIZON WARNINGS!!!!!

1. Many digital purchasers had issues with the game NOT EVEN LOADING. At last check this hadn't been fixed after years of knowledge about it and complaining to Playground Games. I'm curious if they fixed it before making it GWG and if not if it also affects Xbox One users. If it still is an issue, maybe they'll actually fix it as that would be a serious snafu.

2. If you are at all interested in the DLC you should at least check out the game and evaluate it ASAP. All previous Forzas have had DLC licensing which expired four years after release. In each case, a week or two before the four year anniversary of release, the DLC has just disappeared from the marketplace. No heads up from PG, nothing. Some games have had the DLC get a drastic reduction (75-90% on most items) a few days before delisting and usually on an unusual drop day such as Saturday or Thursday. FM4 got less drastic reductions of 50 and 75% off a few items leading people to believe they were MSRP drops and not a fire sale. FH1 released on October 23, 2012 so this may be the last sale on FH1 DLC. Also, I recommend you make sure to download all DLC ASAP. FM3 had DLC removed which could no longer be redeemed thru code entry and DLC which could not be downloaded after removal even if had been purchased and redownloading of previously purchased and downloaded content was no longer possible. With FM4, many people had purchased the season pass in the fire sale, but not downloaded the individual car packs. After removal, they could not access the individual car packs and thus wasted money in buying the season pass with no refunds from MS. It will be interesting to see if the licensing has been renewed with FH1 going GWG and BC so close to the usual delisting deadline. PG is unhelpful at best and the community support department was completely unaware of delistings for FM3 and FM4 until well after it had already happened.

FYI, FH1 servers are experiencing a lot of issues currently. There are tons of threads in the forums complaining about the servers with a prevalent theory that an expanded new userbase is basically DDoSing the servers. Perhaps servers were scaled back as the game got older and not ramped back up for GWG and BC? Once again, no response from PG :(

Yeah you can see the whole list here http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_postsm14750_Cars-and-DLC-list-for-Forza-Horizon.aspx#post_14750 you need to get the packs in the in game marketplace that only works about half the time atm. after you buy them for free in the in game store go to manage game and download the dlc.
 
finally got around to playing halo5, The single player is pretty solid, playing solo heroic without too much trouble,  having the I Would have been your daddy skull, being the easiest in the game I find to be a very interesting choice,

So I just need to try for days to download the content I purchased and hope my xbox never breaks because i probably won't be able to get it again? lol

The in game store has been up 90% of the day for me if I had a error I just tried again and it went fine. You will not loose access if they take it down you can still re download it. You can change systems too with no problem. The only issue might be if you got the season pass and didn't get the packs in game.

So my friends wanted to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance together, and like a tool I bought the collection for $45.

I can tell you from experience that MUA2 is pretty much 60fps locked and look cleaner then the 360 version. Comes with juggernaut/all dlc characters. Obviously MUA2 is the "worst" gameplay wise of the two but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

MUA1 now comes with all the DLC now as of the last patch and runs at 60fps 75% of the time. They also added in the DLC achievements from the 360 as well. The problem with MUA1 running at 60fps 75% of the time is you will run into areas that will drop to 30-40 briefly so the experience is not as smooth. The game controls and looks cleaner then the 360 version on the upside however, in addition to playing it on your current gen console rather then BC.

Edit: I'm really curious to how this will run on The Scorpio/whatever the next system will be called. It seems to run at a unlocked frame rate, and my XBox One S has a slightly increased performance. Maybe the next system can brute force it to 60fps with all the extra power. Time will tell. Still shaky performance is not acceptable Activision.

Both titles run better enough then the 360 versions to purchase if the price was cheaper. But at $45 It's still a tough pill to swallow. The games should have been $20 each, tops, and MUA1 should run even better.

TDLR: Don't buy the Marvel Ultimate Alliance Bundle unless your a die hard MUA fan like me. MUA2 runs perfect, MUA1 has some performance issues.

I hope it works for you. I think there servers are overloaded with everyone grabbing this game for free and they where not prepared. It may have a lot to do with the time of day with peak times having a hard time. That's just my guess though
 
Can someone tell me how to get a notification on a sale price for "Beyond Good & Evil HD" for xbox?  I missed it somehow but got all the other games on games with gold last month.  I found wishlist on CAG, but not sure if there is something where it notifies you?  Similar to www.isthereanydeal.com but for console games?  Sorry if this is really obvious, but i didn't see it.

Edit (and i am way to cheap to buy it for 9.99)

So after firing up FH1 and picking up where i left off which was in 2012 because that was my last time stamp from an achievement i have noticed that the servers are down.Is this permanent or are they doing maintenance? Im trying to buy some dlc from in game.
