Anyone looking for a new TV or other crap sams club is closing a bunch of stores and EVERYTHING in them is 25% off (i'm sure it will keep going down, but the good stuff will prob be bought up quick), if you live in PA or NJ the store over in Princeton is one that is closing.

Since the option to buy the game WITHOUT the Necromancer add-on is no more, you probably won't see the game drop to $20 for a long time, if ever. I bet the new low price will be the $30 it was just on sale for.

That sucks, I already have the Necromancer add-on. I just wanted to have the game saved to my Xbox so I didn't have to swap discs when I got the random urge to play some Deebo lol

I own the 65" MU8000 and love it. I cant say its better than the others cause I haven't owned any other 4k set before but I would buy it again. I don't have any complaints about it other than the smart tv applications can run a little slow but if you watch everything through your 1x it wont even be an issue. Once you are watching something that problem disappears anyway. I still have the VCR xbox one so I cant speak to 4k gaming but recently played through Inside and started up Far Cry 4 again and both looked great. Good luck, I know its hard to pick one.

I just checked my Bing account this morning and yeah I don't see the $5 option anymore either. Looks like $3, $10, etc. Maybe a glitch or the onset of eventual fade-out of the MS gift cards entirely. :(

Either would be a great pic (see what I did there). I own the 65” Samsung and it has a great picture. However, I bought one of the 55” Sharps for Black Friday for $300 that is as good or maybe even a little better. Here’s the kicker, gaming HDR (which I didn’t even think worked at first) is noticeably more vibrant on the Sharp.

I've seen them go in and out of stock before too. It's not a new thing, I bet they will be back.
 
You guys are making me want a new TV! I’ve been happy with my 50” KU6300 but know there are better models out there. But I’ve been spending too much money as it is and will just try to blindly assume that my picture is the best picture.

I only have the best picture. The very best picture. A big, beautiful picture.

I honestly can't tell the difference anymore. I have the MU8000, the TCL and an LG OLED and they all look the same to me at this point.

It's called Microsoft Rewards in Canada and I noticed a couple weeks ago that Gift cards were changed to just $3 and $10. This week, it appears gift cards have been removed altogether.

With 8K TVs being announced things are just getting too crazy. At some point my eyes can only take in so much information and detail.

Yeah, I was gonna get the 55S, but for a little more money the P seems the way to go. Just waiting on a Super Bowl/end of seaon discount. Seems like TCL's method of gaining entry into the US market is to just have constant low prices rather than price at a level of other equalish TVs and put them on sale every now and then.

The other two are great, but if they look as good as your OLED, then your OLED's settings need adjusting. No offense, just saying. My wife is completely oblivious to TV differences as in it took awhile for her to recognize the difference from an old tube TV to a plasma HD TV. We went to look at 4ks a month ago and she was thinking it was a silly waste... until she saw the Samsung and Vizios and LGs set up in Best Buy. Immediately she understood my desire to upgrade from our 1080p LCDs and plasma. Then we went over to the OLEDs and right away she said she wanted one of those instead of the LEDs. We can't afford an OLED so I really let slip Pandora's Box on that one.

I'm kind of embarrassed to say but I've never adjusted any settings on any of these TVs. Lol.

The biggest difference I saw was when i went from my normal 1080 tv to the MU8000 with 4K and HDR. After that I got the OLED and didn't really see a huge difference. I just got the TCL last month with a coupon at Best buy for $590 with tax and 10% best buy bucks back on my best buy card. The TCL looks the same to me. Lol.

I have the Xbox One S on the TCL, the Xbox One X on the MU8000 cause it's the biggest and I have a PS4 Pro on the OLED. Best picture so far is the Ass Creed Origins on the Xbox One X. Uncharted 4 on the OLED is amazing too.

It’s the OG black and white buttons that make me say no to that controller. Those buttons had the worst placement, being off set from the ABXY positions.

I saw those, but our theater room can accommodate up to 80" and the 50" we have looks small right now. 55" won't cut it, otherwise I would have gotten one of those a while back.

What about buying before the Superbowl vs March?
 
Well, at only $10 more than a normal controller I don't think it's too bad of a price. That's if it's wireless. I think it is but I can't find any confirmation. It comes with the USB cable but it says detachable so I think it's for charging. It's clearly aimed at long-time Xbox fans as a collector sort of item.

It does have a few changes, I'd think the OLED is what drove up the price. I don't know about those shoulder buttons. Most importantly they look kind of awkwardly placed and are pretty tiny, but they also don't really mesh with the design of the time period well in my opinion.

^^ Did not know about the OLED part of that. Started to get confused thinking you were somehow mixing controller talk with the TVs. :)

Then clicked the link. Guess it’s okay. But I certainly won’t be buying it (unless they’re clearanced some day for $20).

Same here. I actually liked the Duke, because if your buddy pissed you off while playing a game or did the L-R-Start-Back (some of you know what that means) you could beat them to a pulp with your controller.

I just got the 55" a few months ago, but I'll get a 65" when it comes out and move 55". I've been super impressed with the picture quality especially compared to cost.

So last week, I said I got an email from Xbox for completing the Xbox Quest, with a GTA shark card for $500k.  I didn't know which month that was from.  I now think it's from November.

The reason for that conclusion: I just got another Xbox message saying I completed the DECEMBER Xbox Quest, and it's another GTA shark card for $500k (it's a different code).

I'm happy with those since I play GTA still.

I'm beginning to think that it isnt as random as it looks/sounds. They may be going by how much you have been using certain things. It is not a coincidence and if you want to change what you get, stop playing GTA. :)

Target is so YMMV on clearance. Just the other day we were buying some Legos and the one by my work had a set for $12.99 on clearance that was $8.99 by my house, originally $19.99. Seems like each store just does whatever they want.

Shipwrecks targets always have the best clearance.
