BTW, the reason digital prices are high is becasue Sony and Microsoft have deals with brick and mortar stores to not compete with physical games. Digital prices would fall to Steam levels if people like you would stop working for little to no pay fo the big box stores. YOU're NOT saving money, only spending less and you're filling our beautiful planet up with pollution. Time to think about something other than yourself. Can't stand ignorance. Waiting in a line is rather weird, most of us just order off Amazon. I'll take physical over digital any day of the week. I feel like I actually own something, I can always resell a game if I want, and can't forget to mention that games are simply cheaper physically. Also getting your account stolen or banned, results in the loss of digital library. With that being said, digital is incredibly convenient and I can see why some people prefer it over buying physical games.

The only reason I'm going to go digital is game sharing. If I wasn't doing that, I would definitely get the discs because of the install size. I'd rather not need to download 90 to 110 gigs any time I want to install this game, both for download speed and bandwidth caps.

 
RDR 2 is soooooo gorgeous. Even the start of the game in the snow is incredible how natural the powder is. The detail and the lighting...just wow!

This might have answered before but does anyone know the Xbox game pass 20% discount stack with any sales price (ie. deals with gold, Halloween sales, etc.)? Or is it only 20% off the standard price?

I gave in and pre-ordered RDR2 the last day of the 1M GTAV credits promotion, my pre-load was ready to.go since the day it was live....and I find myself out of town away from my console the day before release....

You know to have digital gadgets you have to literally destroy mountains, poison water, and destroy various habitats while you have people working slave wages and shitty conditions in poisonous environments. Then, once your finished with them, your digital gadgets rot in miles wide eletronics dumps in Africa, etc. So get off your high horses and your half-assed moral high ground.

Only thing I can think of off hand was there was an eBay coupon code for 10% off, but it expired very recently it looks like so nothing on the deals front for now. Usually best bet is to look for more of those eBay coupon codes since they come out every few weeks or so or wait a bit to see what Black Friday entails since it's on the 23rd next month so we can possibly be seeing ads very soon.

 
I really hope the GwG gets announced today so we can talk about/be disappointed with those instead of arguing about climate change and sex lives.
 
Just curious what anyone with a TCL (particularly a P6 or 6 series) is using for HDR calibration for RDR. I had it set around 250 but today inside a building it looked a bit washed out. So I turned it down to 100. Not sure if it is because of a haze from the snow? Might need more adjusting.

Speaking of which, tonight I'll be playing Forza Horizon 4 with any CAGs that want to join up. I'm aiming for 7-9pm, but that can flex either way if somebody can't make that specific time.

If we can't get a full group of racers to compete for the $10 Xbox gift card, I'll just give it away randomly to one of the participants. I only have a few responses as of now.

RDR 2 is fucking amazing. Even the music and dialogue is cinematic in scope, giving the feel of a thriller. Still early but could easily see this being one of the best games of all time if it keeps up. And did I mention how gorgeous it is on Xbox One X?

Not sure I even need to buy another game this year.
 
I'm downloading on X now, it says 88 gigs, was the 107 size stated incorrect?

I still got the pre-order bonus even though I bought it like an hour ago.

I noticed after playing the game for the first time last night that its now at 108 gigs. I checked before I started playing at it was at 88 so I'm guessing starting the game unpacks something or something downloads in the background without any notifications.

 
I still haven't finished the first RDR. Can't wait for the second one to drop to $20 so I can add it to my backlog and get to it when it is backwards compatible on the Xbox One X squared.

Yeah my RDR2 is at 106 gigs. I was worried at midnight because it was the 88 gigs and I'd have to sit another hour or two. Maybe MS is finally coming through on some of that smart downloading tech they've been talking about this year. Granted it as already 4/5ths of the game downloaded.

Do you HAVE to do shit like catch fish and brew coffee to play through the main game?

In Chapter 4 I've had to do none of those things, although I'd do fishing for sure. Brew Coffee?

I glitched without speeding anything up, had only one active at a time and didn't time travel. That said, prob best to just let the restoration run its course.

 
I have one car to unlock still.  Hope it is in the summer season.  Only played a short bit this morning.

When does the 7th daily become available?  Seemed I was waiting for it to activate yesterday am. But it wasn't ready for a few hours.  I worked late and by the time I got home it was the next season and reset. 

Or am I just remember it wrong and actually unlocked it yesterday am before work.  

I will try to get on tonight. Hopefully not too many of you get on so he gives the $10 out randomly.  If I have to actually win I have no chance.  lol

Yesterday's daily was win or complete a cross country event, forgot what the stipulation was.
