  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

SC1 was one of the two games I picked during that Rewards promo where you pick two 800 MSP games, and get like 400 MSP back or something.

And I own nearly all the games on sale on disc and this officially makes it now four weeks straight since I made a purchase on XBL. Will they be able to make it a full uninterrupted month straight? I'm eager to find out!

Also I'm guessing this more than likely means PSN will get a Namco sale as well since these company specific sales seem to crossover.

 
I'd like to own Enslaved digital, but I already own it physical (two times, one of them the LE), so I won't buy it again.

To anyone thinking about getting Tekken Tag 2, if you like the Tekken series, DO IT!!!! It's an amazing game.

 
If you're dying for a jrpg, I can recommend Eternal Sonata for $5. A little cliche, plot goes to crap on second half to finale though. Enjoyable battle system and some interesting characters. In fact, many RPGs seems to be this way (tales, star ocean 4).
 
I hate how cheap the Tekken characters are in SFxT. Can you get stuck in crazy long combos that are just the same attack over and over again in TTT2?

Yep, it is, as good as any other. Besides, it's the best tekken game ever imo (and I've played them all minus the new PS3 free game, since I don't own that console).

I think I picked it up when it was $3.74 during the holidays this past year. Guess they don't feel like being that generous with the price again.

 
Eternal Sonata is totally worth it at that price if you're the kinda CAG who thinks to himself "Oh man, I miss JRPG's and I heard good things about it!" and than put it on your backlog and keep making excuses of how you have no time to play it because you're a busy adult, but hey one of these days you'll get to it, but you never will.

And for God's sake people just fucking buy Tekken! It's under $7 and it's stupid fun and has abunch of modes and characters and it killed Hitler and helped get a third season of Hannibal on the air and whatever other excuses you want me to say to convince you to buy it.

If I can do The Scorchers DLC on Normal first I will. Then could I do the base game on UN and skip side quests and The Scorchers content and get the achievement for beating the game on Ultra Nightmare? I'd prefer to rush through on UN.

Those rooms were cool. I believe I saw them all the first time. Speaking of throwbacks, I saw someone post a clip of the new Wolfenstein and the computer next to the guy he assassinated had the original Wolf3D on it. I don't think it was playable though.


Namco sale? I picked up Eternal Sonata last time and bought Enslaved used for $5 around that same time. I wish the DLC would go on sale.

SFxT and TTT2 play COMPLETELY different. For one, SFxT is a 2.5D fighter while TTT2 is a 3D fighter.

Anyways, Sonata's a good deal if you missed out at $3.74. TTT2 is the best deal here. Everything else is meh.

Some games are stubborn. Perfect Dark HD went on sale twice this year and that gave me hope for Banjo-Kazooie HD to go on sale, too.

I bought one. Worked perfectly, the transaction was quick and for a $5 Xbox code, it was absolutely worth it.

Its a fun game and the DLC has some easy achievements.

If you have save files then the Scorchers can be played on them with no issue. The way it works if you're playing a new game is that when you complete the first few missions a pop-up appears and says something about Scorchers DLC being available to start. If you complete that DLC mission you have to wait until you progress further in the actual game to unlock the other Scorcher missions, which applies to all of the Scorcher DLC. You have to progress further in the story to access them.

But, in your case, if you're loading up a previous save files you can just go back to Disc 1 and play through the missions without having to wait to unlock them, and you'll be better upgraded. There's technically 5 missions, but 4 and 5 are really just one big continuous mission.

The DLC also lets you keep playing the game after you finish it, so if you have a Capital Prime save you can finish the game, and once the last cutscene plays you'll be transported back to Subway Town.

While you can rush through Ultra Nightmare, you may want to do a few side missions, especially things like the races. The damage given to your car at points can be annoying if you don't have it upgraded.
