Already purchased the 3 table packs for FX2 and BG&E, but still looking at Super Meat Boy and DaVinci for AC:Brotherhood. Is the single player add-on content in AC:B DaVinci worth it? I still have to finish AC:II before I will even start AC:B

Don't know either about Super Meat Boy. Kinda reminds me of N+ and some other level style games that held my attention at first, but then it seemed somewhat rinse & repeat with the challenge level increasing.

My time for thinking is running out. Any thoughts?
If you're a completionist, achievement huntery kind of person, then maybe? There are some Brotherhood achievements you can only get through the DaVinci DLC. So keep that in mind! I haven't finished the game yet but figured it was worth it at the sale price.
Now here's hoping it isn't as glitchy for me as the ACII DLC was... geez.
Just tried the demo for MK. I know it's been a while since I played it back on the Genesis, but I don't remember it being this hard.
You are remmebering correctly, the console ports were much easier than the arcade versions.

Had exactly 260 in an account so I got BG&E, so now I have 20msp left. Any 20msp items available? I know there's 40msp ones. Thanks.

I've been wanting to get Beyond Good & Evil since it came out but have been holding off in hopes it'd go on sale. SOLD! Now I've got to find something to burn the other 560 moon points I have left from my Gold dashboard renewal before the end of the year.

I didnt like BGE, did the full demo and didnt appeal to me really, even at that price.
Going to hold out for the december sales, these BF and CM sales were a bust for me.. I may try a demo of risk, Ive actually never played risk before.
i bought beyond good and evil. Gonna start playing it after i finish super meat boy
captial L O L
I bought Beyond Good and Evil. Gonna start playing it after I finish Super Meat Boy
It will be on sale again before you beat SMB

I have gone for the marvel + core pack of pinball & want to get the classic due to being a completionist, but would it be better to buy PB FX 1 for an extra 400msp to have another game yet be unable to d/l the dlc

Daggerdale isn't worth it till it's under a buck IMO.

It isn't going to get patched, there is a reason the company went belly up after releasing this steaming pile of Orc shit.

edit: according to their FB page, it got patched last week, people claim it still has bugs.

I really wanted this before it was released, sigh.

Got Beyond Good & Evil. I remember getting the game for the PS2 for $10 at Circuit City 2 weeks after launch. Good times. I never finished the game on the PS2 (got bored on a stupid stealth section...) but hopefully i'll get it done this time.
It's gonna happen! I will finish it NO MATTER THE COST
I wanna be

the very best

Got the marvel and core packs. I played a bit a few days ago and they seem cool.
I'm getting BG&E today.

Edit: Nevermind, I was hacked this morning and all my points were drained, and support is telling me I will have to get my account locked for 30 days so they can do an investigation. So I guess I'm screwed out of this. I guess it's good I got the FX packs a few days back, before the hacking.
New Kinect Fun Labs gadget out today and it's FREE! Grab 'Battle Stuff'
http://t.co/aNudethf

Don't know if its free forever. Thats why I posted it here .

Also got Beyond good and evil .
Should still keep this to the free xbl thread. That thread gets more than enough traffic for this to not get lost.

Side Note: Anyone know if it violates the Preview Update ToS if I posted a picture of the image screw up of the MK price? Else if the screw up exists on the regular dashboard, someone else could up it.

EDIT: Woah I'm rude, forgot to also thank ya, since you know...I saw the link here, lol
captial L O L
I finished Super Meat Boy, minus Teh Internets, in a relatively short amount of time. I didn't get great times, but I did A+ all light/dark stages and get all the bandages/characters. So it is completely possible for the average player to complete if they are willing to put time into the game. However, I could not muster the same will to play Teh Internets so your lulz may have validity =P.
It's most definitely not 100% wrong. Let's inject some facts here..

Microsoft asks developers if they want to be involved in a sale. Developers have the right to accept or deny.

See here, on Zen's (Pinball FX2 devs) forums:

http://forum.zenstudios.com/showpost.php?p=17537&postcount=28

Whether the pricing has anything to do with it, who knows.. but the devs are clearly approached before it happens.
That's interesting for me to know now. It kinda dashes my hopes the SNK XBLA titles (except Trouble Witches Neo) nor Soul Calibur to see a sale. I don't anticipate MS approching SNK to participate in a promotion nor Namco-Bandai over an old title. =(

The sales this holiday week has been great to me. I got my long awaited Core and Marvel pinball packs. I got them so fast, I was worried I may not have checked if the pricing was right (sometimes the dasboard ad goes up before the prices go down), thankfully, they were 400MSP.

I got BG&E, MVC2, Risk Factions, Outrun Online Arcade, and Super Meat Boy already from previous deals (BG&E was impulse full on release). Yet I have to commend those who had waited for thse great(er) prices. I may regret not getting Full House Poker, but currently the negatives outweigh the positives.

I am still trying to determine if Sega Rally is worth it. I hope tomorrow's DotW makes it easy for me to decide.
Bought the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. Been waiting for it to go to 400msp. :applause:
It's too broken and too bare bones for 400, maybe at 160 I'll bite
It's too broken and too bare bones for 400, maybe at 160 I'll bite
It's worth the $5 to me purely for the nostalgia. My brother and I probably spent hundreds of dollars playing MK II & UMK3 back in "the day". Plus I remember the day I first saw the original MK in the arcade and was totally blown away. :bouncy:
It's too broken and too bare bones for 400, maybe at 160 I'll bite
It's getting a patch sometime in December.

So much for the "and much more" part of sale. Should have been "these games and nothing else".

I bought Beyond G&E and Super Meat Boy. I'm still sad there wasn't much more to this sale.
Got BG&E. Anyone recommend Risk Factions for 200 points?
I bought it, I really enjoy it. Worth 200 points to me by far, I would have paid 400 for it after playing it for the last few hours. I'm already 125/200 GS on it.

You convinced me! Had free points anyway, so I got both. Thanks!

...and much more that isnt' on sale. :p

Yeah, it would have been nice to have some ultra cheap (almost free) games that weren't announced.

BG&E is the only buy for me. The other games I already own or have no interest in.
Got BG&E. Anyone recommend Risk Factions for 200 points?
I think it's easily worth a couple bucks, I've enjoyed it.

I'm gonna do myself a favor and not get my hopes up for the "Countdown to New Years" sale.
Fingers crossed for some free "2012" avatar glasses and nothing else.

Well, I wanted Bastion on sale, and couldn't even get that. Since I bought this 4000 point card, and only used it to get a shirt, and Fan Axxess for WWE 12, I guess I'll treat myself to it.

Buy it at the Microsoft Store and you get The Maw for free also. You have to use a credit card though, can't use points.

I am wanting that too, but personally, I am waiting to see if it is going to be part of the Coutdown to New Years.
I would kick myself if I bought it out of disgust for not being part of this deal and then it went on sale two weeks later.

Wait til 1/1/12. If it hasn't gone on sale then I'd say get it.

Just a question: Has Microsoft ever had pc games DLC on sale? Or on DotW?

I'm especially curious to see if Bulletstorm DLC and Bioshock 2 DLC both for pc (NOT XBOX, I know that format has been on sale a few times, already). The DLC shows as an actual price and not msn points, as well.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Yeah, that's right.

Everyone in this thread realizes you can get Beyond Good & Evil and Super Meat Boy for $8 right? This is ridiculous. Buy both.

Just pointing out that it is actually 800 points ($10). Yeah, I am that guy. Sorry.

They had the fallout 3 expansions for 4.99 each once also.

On the website after you click on buy under the price there should be use microsoft points on the next screen.
lol... my gold ran out TODAY, of all days. no BG&E for me then, lmfao wow
I'm pretty sure it's not gold only. Usually just the deal of the week requires gold.
