yeah the selection list that great but I walked out great. Age of Booty and Final Fight for me. 4 weeks in a row i have bought a dotw game. Microsoft needs to keep their shit rolling and put out more games for 200-400 MSP.

I am never waiting around for XBL sales anymore lol. These are absolutely terrible, I wasted money on these points that I bought awhile back. I guess I will go ahead and change my gamertag now.

I never post this because I usually buy something but looks to me I have all the deal of the week titles the next two weeks unless there is something interesting in the Ubisoft Publisher Deals.

Will be nice to save some money (points) for a couple weeks.
I strongly recommend Age of Booty to those of you who don't have it. I got it for 400 points when it was on sale from an 800 price point, and really enjoyed it a lot. At 200 it's a steal.
Do you play it a lot? I used to play it all the time but then could never find a game.

I love the game though. Totally worth it for 200 pts. No brainer.
Was seriously hoping Puzzle Fighter HD would be on sale for once....Oh well. There's always another time....
My thoughts exactly. It even fits the theme perfectly. Where the fuck is it?
"Capcom" sale, of course they wouldn't have Resident Evil 4 on the list, asshats.
It's barely been out for 2 months. It's not going on sale any time soon.

I think i will pick up Age of Booty with all the positive comments here.

About the 2 versions of street fighter, is Street Fighter 2 HF the original ported over and Super Street Fighter 2 HD a remake with better graphics and the expanded roster? Has anyone picked these up / are they worth getting. I remember playing a ton of SF in the Genesis/SNES days and was wondering if it was worth it for nostalgia's sake.

I wasn't going to, but I just did a last second buy of Sega Rally and Streets of Rage 2.

This sale is a pass for me since I already have Double Impact. I "might" buy Street Fighter 2 HD, but I suck at 2D fighters. Street Fighter more so.

At this point you can safely skip SF2HF (the third version of SF2) if you pickup up HDR (the seventh version of SF2). HDR also has much better netcode and some fine tuning done to the character balance.
Capcom sale and still no MM9 sale dey b trollin
I came into this thread specifically hoping for a Mega Man 9 sale. Gosh dang it, I can't believe I'm going to end up paying full price for that game 2 years later. (Or 3. Maybe 4. Is it on sale yet??)

Don't do it! If you're a casual player, the only fun version of SF is the iOS version and probably the 3DS version, but I've never played the latter. In order to have fun with the "real" version, you have to be willing to put massive amounts of time into muscle memorizing weird controller patterns and button combinations. Not my casual fighter idea of fun.

Didn't realize that Microsoft was so environmentally friendly. I've never known a huge corporation like that that recycles so much! Good on them.

At least we know Prince of Persia classic won't be included in the Ubisoft sale next week since it's already listed as part of the DotW. Really who's the idiot that set that one up?

MM9 is better than 10 imo just buy it. =]

Another Crapcom sale coming up, whoopty freaking do! Am starting to think that whoever is in charge of making the DotW is at their near end because we are getting repetitive deals. I will be sending an email out and see what's going on.

Safe to say i'll finally just purchase Deathsmiles 2x and a few other games that'll likely never go on sale. The ubisoft sale will probably be prince of persia, your shape fitness evolved and stuff like that on sale. Another pass..

Yesterday at last minute i got Mortal Kombat ,BG&E and a blind buy of Risk ,never played Risk in my life but i have a friend a few months ago he played all day and at that price if i don't like it is not a loss......final fight will be my buy of this week.....

Well, looks like nothing for me for the next 2 weeks. As others have said, it's nice to be able to take a break and give my wallet a rest.

Also, about that Ubisoft sale... is it supposed to be a developer or publisher sale? I'm not sure what Arcade games Ubisoft has published, but if we're going by developer, I'm thinking that From Dust will be in the sale.

I theorize that for a few reasons (as far as the games they developed): Chessmaster was delisted, Beyond Good & Evil was just on sale for CM, plus Cellfactor and Voodoo Dice were permanently discounted a month or two ago. Even though Might and Magic is likely to be in the sale (it was DotW in September, I think) I can definitely also see From Dust squeezing in there.

Fingers crossed...

Would be awesome if From Dust was in there, and 50% off. However, it will probably be DLC for all their retail games.

Regarding "Lara Croft: Guardian of Light" it's best to get this for the PSN, since Square-Enix shunned the Xbox 360 by not making all the DLC add-ons available.
I think From Dust will be 33% off. Here is the Europe PSN sale for Ubi:
http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/11/29/ubisoft-celebrates-25th-anniversary-with-psn-discounts/

Hopefully MS can negotiate 50%.
I think it will probably be 33% too. And I just can't buy it at 800msp, it just doesn't seem all that fun.

However, thanks to that post, I can hope and dream and pray that a sale similar to that comes to PSN this week or next, I really want those splinter cell HD games!!!

I didn't find the DLC add-ons to be anything special. Just my 2 cents.
I didn't find the DLC add-ons to be anything special. Just my 2 cents.
Not only aren't they special, they are terrible. At least the one I got for free sure was. It was tiny and wasn't any fun. Just stick with the main game, which is great and well worth it.
Everyone also needs to get HDR and play it online.
This 100x over.

Hyper Fighting is 3rd out of the 5 releases of SF2. The last being the greatest fighter of all time in SF2: Super Turbo. Probably the best balanced fighter of all time. 16 characters, super / special moves aplenty.

HDR has 2 main modes, Classic Super Turbo and HDR Remix. HDR was slightly rebalanced to buff weaker characters. It also has a great training mode that includes hitboxes, and really solid netcode.

Unless you're poverty as fuck with your fighters, pick up HDR in place of Hyper.

Shoot me a invite if you buy and want to spar online!

Like others, I noticed "Capcom Sale" and my hopes skyrocketed for Megaman 9 & 10 discounts. No Resident Evil content either. :-({|=

Still might pick up Age of Booty and maybe even Turbo HD Remix.

Ughh I feel you on this. I've been looking out for a MM9/10 sale for awhile...
I always feel like the moment I pay full price for it, the next dotw it'll be on sale
This 100x over.

Hyper Street Fighting is basically a mash version of every different release of SF2.

(World Warrior, Championship Edition, Hyper Fighting, New Challengers, and by far the best in Super Turbo).

It allows you to pick your character, and which version of each that you want. Unfortunately, a LOT of these characters, are ridiculously OP mainly from Championship Edition. The netcode is also ass compared to HDR.

Your mixing games up. Hyper Street Fighting is the third incarnation of SF2. Hyper Street Fighter 2 is the mishmash compilation of all the SF2 games and was released back like in 2002 on ps2 and later original Xbox (in the US, under Street Fighter Anniversary Collection).

....if you think this is confusing you should see Darkstalkers, I still don't understand the naming and order of those games (the 3 different versions of Darkstalkers 3 in particular).

But yeah, the netcode is terrible in the first xbla sf2 release. In my opinion, Street Fighter II: TUrbo is the best fighting game ever and the port is decent, but the online experience was one of the worst I ever had. Not only was the netcode poor but someone had the brilliant idea to have the character select screen have an infinite timer AND you can de-select characters. The result was mass counter picking and eventually idiots camping on the character select screen until you leave (they get a free win). To further infuriate you, when someone disconnects after a loss (and they will) you have to wait for a slow timer to countdown from 20 before you can return to the main menu.

So yeah, I would just skip that version of SF2 unless you have a local scene or buddies to play it online. If that were the case though, you'd probably have already bought it.

Gah this is correct. Sorry, no morning coffee yet.

Will edit my post, thanks for the heads up. And +1 to SF2: Super Turbo being the best fighting game ever made, and one of the best games ever. And I'm a diehard MvC2 fan as my fave game of all time. But Super Turbo is forever the tits.
Can anyone vouch for Age of Booty? I have 200 pts left and am debating on it...
Yes.

Though it can be a bit repetitive, if that's a deal-breaker for ya.
Looks like I'll be passing this week as well as next week.
Same here. Oh well, gives me more time to earn more MSP from BING and Live Rewards.
Can anyone vouch for Age of Booty? I have 200 pts left and am debating on it...
age of booty (the game) feels more like an old eletronic arts PC game of point and click, if you have friends to play this with/against it's more fun...otherwise, you can probably find a game like this for free online for your pc or smart phone somewhere.

download the demo and check it out for yourself...but tbh, once you beat it or give up trying to get all the achievements, you probably will play it as often as dorito dash.
