[CUSTOMSPOILER="General Info"]
Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. Who is eligible for MyPunchcard?
A. All Xbox LIVE Rewards members are eligible to participate in MyPunchcard. To start earning punches for completing specific actions, join Xbox LIVE Rewards now for free if you haven’t already: http://rewards.xbox.com.

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?
A. Yes. Once a Punchcard expires, no further punches will be provided for actions completed after that date. Expiration dates for each Punchcard vary and are listed on the MyPunchcard page found here.

Q. I completed a Punchcard! How do I claim my Reward?
A. If the Reward is Microsoft Points, they will appear under Pending on your MyRewards page by the 15th of the following month. If the Reward is anything other than Microsoft Points, an email will be sent to your contact email listed here with instructions to redeem your Reward. The Rewards for completion of a Punchcard will vary with each Punchcard offer. Rewards will not be provided during the Punchcard offer period.

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]
Wow, really? I'm pretty sure you're right, that wasn't announced anywhere. I didn't get anything back for May though I know I spent some points. I wonder if it was something they only offered to certain users.
Ditto. I spent only 200 MSP (Age of Booty) in May, which would be a rebate of 10 MSP. But I don't see anything on my Rewards page for May ... except for the May survey. :whistle2:k
Considering my previous post ...

Do me (and yourself) a favor and check your Microsoft Points history for April and May at http://billing.microsoft.com/. Confirm they didn't already deposit them, memorize your current balance, and see if your balance increases when they do deposi them.
No deposits yet. It should be easy to tell though since I only have 450 points atm so a jump to over 1000 should be easy to spot.

Nice.

If/when the points are deposited, let us know. It would certainly help relieve my suspicion that I never really received my points.
Only spent 400 in May, but I didn't get 5% back on it.
I don't believe they offered 5% back for May. It was "Buy a TV season pass, get 240 MSP back" as their special bonus.

I got my Banshee code yesterday, and my 400 pts rebate from the Reach Defiant map pack today, along with some other points (% back from all my purchases?).

Got the Banshee yesterday and this morning I got my May points (although they're still showing as pending on the website.

I haven't gotten the rebate for when I renewed though, did so through the dashboard which let me use any renewal card and get 600pts.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure those membership renewal offers are only valid if you purchase the renewal through Xbox LIVE (not prepaid card).

Nope it was a specific dashboard offer that you could use ANY purchased card. In fact through the link you actually had to enter the code there, so if you renewed through XBL it wouldn't have even worked. Said the normal 4-6 week thing or whatever though and I don't even think it's been a month yet. I actually already got the 200, this is separate.

The 200 point reward for renewing 1 year of Gold doesn't have a timeframe, it may just take a while to post. I bought a prepaid 12 month card and used it on 2/24. The 200 point reward wasn't added to my pending points until 3/24.

Finally got my Halo Map pack and points spent percentage deposited so I'm xbox rich again. This whole thing takes a long time but it's nice to see a good amount of points rewarded to you out of the blue when looking at your balance one day.

I also received the code for my free avatar banshee prop earlier this week. I'm happy with the service overall.

I received an email with 200 MS points for joining Bing rewards.

I renewed my live account in may and i see on dashboard if i renewed i would get free 600 point, so i renew with a code card. In a case like that, how long would it be before i get the 600 point?

I'm pretty sure you have to renew with a credit card to get those kinds of deals.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the referring friends for 400pts a friend? Every time I try to refer a friend it tells me the gamertag is invalid. Has anyone successfully done this? It seems like people on the xbox.com forums have been having issues with it too.

I was never able to get it to work. I am pretty sure it is mostly broken.

Ditto. However, I gave up trying a month (or more) ago.

I just remembered this is ending soon, so I checked to see how many points I got for renewing a couple weeks ago. When I saw it was not there, it said I need to upgrade to gold on the rewards sight. So I clicked it (even though I already am gold) and it takes me to the gold subscription page on the normal xbox site, but it says I am already a gold next to my gamertag.
I renewed my live account in may and i see on dashboard if i renewed i would get free 600 point, so i renew with a code card. In a case like that, how long would it be before i get the 600 point?
This was a dashboard deal, wasn't it? Nothing to do with the Rewards program. Usually you have to renew with a credit card and sign up for auto-renewal. They can take quite some time to give you those points.

That's what is wrong with the Refer a Friend rewards, they have to sign up with a credit card and sign up for auto-renewal. Don't want to do that to friends.

No word yet on this program being extended? The survey hinted at it.

I guess it doesn't matter as there aren't any rebates for June. So current purchases won't 'earn' our accts anything.

July XBL Rewards.

20 - Survey
100 - 1st Marketplace purchace
200 - Buy two Arcade games that cost 800+
100 - first netflix activation/use

Looks like XBL Rewards is continuing down its path of mediocrity.

thanks. so the Rewards program has been extended?
according to the FAQ seems like reward points expire in June 2012. so i assume that's when the program will end?

well now I gotta think of a 2nd 800 point game.

For clarification, if you activated your Netflix before you joined XBL Rewards, there's no way to get those reward points, is there?

Well maybe I will get Torchlight next week after all! I almost never buy 800 point games but since it's on sale AND I can count it as one of the two I think I will get it. My gut says Half-Minute Hero is going to be the second. It's not on sale but I think I might be willing to pay full price for it. Might wait and see if any other 1200 point games get a discount down to 800 before the end of the month first though.

Hmm, had I not choked and purchased MTG 2012 when it first came out, I'd definitely go for that and Half-Minute Hero for the 200 points back. Oh well, I'm sure something will grab my interest between now and the end of the month.

No way to get those points. Have to activate it after you sign up with rewards.

Does anyone know if you can buy an 800 point game on sale for credit on the "2 games for 800 points" rebate? For example, can I buy comic jumper and/or x-men on sale for 400 points to qualify?

They want you to spend 800+ per game. If you buy 400 point games they won't count. It's a nice try but this isn't FSSS at Amazon now.

It figures they would make a game purchase reward for this month, seeing as I bought 4000 points worth of games last month.

I still think this is the worst reward program ever made. They need to take a lesson from the Kmart gamer people or Steam.

Firefox won't let me access the rewards site anymore. I had to use Safari to get it to work. Just a heads up if people keep getting a 404 error when they use Firefox.

Anyone get this months survey to work? I entered all the answers but don't see a enter or submit button, it just says thanks for taking survey at the bottom.

nvm, didn't work on IE, but worked on FF. stupid microsoft.

Argh, I wish I had waited two days to buy Half-Minute Hero. Hopefully Third Strike Online and Radiant Silvergun come out this month.

Damnit. :( I came over here from the XBL DotW thread and remembered I hadn't done the July survey yet, then, like a dumbass I clicked the "join" link from RedJoey thinking it was no big deal but now when I try to hit the main page of Rewards it gives me the banner that they're going to take a few days to linkup my account--which I've been a member of for months now with a pending balance.

Anyone else stupidly do this at some point and it turned out okie-dokie? Obviously I'll get my answer in "36 hours" one way or another but if I just lost nearly 700pts for being lazy and stupid then... well... hrm, maybe I deserve it I guess. :puts head down & kicks a stone down the road:

That's weird. I can no longer access the site using Google Chrome and have to use Firefox to get it to work
